Sam Villa's Hair Hacks: String Braid Tip

In this video, Sam shares a hot tip for using Rewind 06 Pliable Styling Paste! Follow the simple steps below to create an eye-catching string braid on your clients.
• Work a small amount of Rewind 06 through the hair and onto hands
• Draw hair into a ponytail at the back of the head towards the center
• Divide the pony into two equal sections, but then single out a small quarter-inch strand (this will be your string)
• Create a three-strand braid as usual - the thin middle strand will come into play later to hold the braid together
• Secure hair at the end of the braid using an elastic. Hot tip: work Rewind 06 on the elastic so it buffers the cuticle.
• Holding on to the string strand, pull out and pancake areas of the braid, and you’re left with an ultra-cool textured braid!
