Color Gels Lacquers 10 Minute

In the beginning when I used this line I was shock to see how dark it pulled. But as I get to understand it I love the 10min process. 100% grey coverage and yes..rinse within 10mi no more then 15min. It will cover the Grey 100% but will pull dark if left on too long. I pretty much love using this line on my dark hair clients only. Levels 7 and under. My clients love the fact that I can get them in and out within 1hr w/cut and blowdry. Again it does pull dark so use on clients level 7 and under.

I found this product helpful when I do balayage or highlights. Especially a client with 90-100% grey hair. I control the highlights to lift up almost to the way I want, then I apply this 10 minutes color on. it liquid and helps to blending out with the teasing hair very well. When I do full color I use bottle with cream peroxide so it will make the color solid a little bit if you don't use the bottle very often you will feel it very liquid. so do not add clear peroxide. use cream peroxide. it will helps. Mix 1 oz. Color Gels Lacquers 10 Minute shade with 1 oz. 20 Volume Pro-Oxide Cream Developer. Adjust quantity of color and developer as needed while maintaining 1:1 mixing ratio. 2. When mixed, the formula will react with the developer, so apply promptly to the hair. 3. Process for 10 minutes. Rinse color using preferred Redken shampoo and conditioner. 4. Smart Pause Technology will help stop pigment from depositing 10 minutes after being mixed with the developer. We recommend removing color from hair within 15 minutes. For stylists who do slower applications we recommend the following four tips: 1. Apply the color on hair with higher percentage of white first. 2. If you take 10 minutes to apply, only process the color for 5 minutes after complete application. 3. Apply color in quadrants. Begin at the nape and work from the back two quadrants to the front two quadrants. Once the back quadrants are complete, set your timer for 10 minutes and then continue with the application of the front two quadrants. The difference between the two quadrants will be 5 minutes but each half of the head will be processed for 10 minutes. This will ensure a more uniform end color result. 4. Apply Color Gels Lacquers 10 Minute with a bottle. Its liquid formula allows for express application I changed this product from "10 minutes RUSK.".. and I found it very helpful.

I absolutely love this product! I only do a half to full shade lighter and start processing time when I'm finished applying, and begin with hairline/stubborn areas first. It is a bit more messy but hoping thickening drops will help. A protective barrier for the hairline is a huge aid. I'm hoping there will be more colors coming soon?? Reds?? Please??

I used 6NA on a level 5 with 50%gray only did the top and sides just to try it and all I got was a Smokey colored gray hairs. Absolutely did not cover at all. It’s med course hair. Mixed 1-1 started time when I first applied took off at 10 mins. Did I do something wrong? I’m scared to try it again.

I used this product on one client. 6abn. It worked as it says. Only thing I noticed was that because it process so fast, the color shows up quicker and was a bit messy for me. But Im sure that is different with every stylist. will be using again!

Why is it that I can’t find the ingredients on this color line? I’ve used it multiple times on clients but I have questions and concerns

This truly 100% coverage on gray. It does run about 2 shades darker then you expect. As long as you remember that you will love it

I was so excited when I had heard of this new technology and color line. I will be honest, it took some getting used to. There are many quirks to adapt to, especially if you are a Redken user. The colors do not line up like you would think. The N and NN line are warm, in the 10 min Gel Line. I pull red when I use them. So even though there aren't any red colors yet, this is how I get around that. I have increased my client base and decreased my hours now that I have this line. It is wonderful. My clients rave about the experience. This age is all about what we can provide to the Guest Experience and make it better! Giving our client back their time is one major way to do that. One review I kept seeing over and over about this line was the color left a line on the clients face (stain). Solution: I save the brush (with color still on it) and at the bowl go back over the hairline and re-wet it with the color and rinse immediately. It leaves no line of demarcation on their forehead. The beautiful thing about Color Gels is the flawless color and application method. I was using the wrong ratio at first 1:2 and that was working great to cover the Greys just the same. This line is just amazing no matter what way you work it. You just can't make it wrong. I broke the rules by accident and still got it right. #Redkenalltheway
