Have you ever had a client request that perfect, effortlessly chic honey copper, only to find yourself staring at your color cabinet feeling a wave of formulation anxiety? Copper is dominating hair trends but finding that perfect sweet spot of reflective warmth without a harsh, overly orange deposit is a delicate balance.
The wait is officially over. We are thrilled to introduce the newest addition to the iconic Shades EQ Gloss family: The Honey Coppers Collection, launching in Levels 6, 8, and 9.
Not only are these new shades and a new shade family, but for the first time, Redken has teamed up directly with a stylist to bring a new shade family to life. Co-created in the Redken labs with Redken Global Artistic Ambassador Adrienne Dara (@adriennedara), this launch is truly by a stylist, for stylists.
Adrienne brought her real-world salon challenges and color expertise straight to our chemists to design 3 balanced warm shades made for universally flattering, natural-looking results.
Formulated with a brown-to-tan background, these shades feature Gold as the primary reflect and Copper as the secondary.
The primary reflect gold, does the heavy lifting providing a warm natural base, while the secondary reflect copper adds a nuance of color to create the perfect warm result.

09HC: Perfect as a delicate additive in level 9 formulas to invite soft, warm reflections without overpowering the blonde.
08HC: Ideal for strawberry blonde formulations, depositing an organic, high-end golden-apricot undertone.
06HC: A highly versatile level. Use it as an all-over global gloss for a soft wash of honeyed warmth or blend it with Shades EQ NB shades to anchor roots with balanced, expensive-looking depth.
THE TECHNIQUE: ADRIENNE DARA'S "HONEY MELT"
To launch the collection, Adrienne designed the Honey Melt, a signature technique featuring a universal foiling method that is sure to keep the dimension feeling soft while accentuating a soft shimmer of color. Adrienne's open-air + classic foiling method creates a multi-dimensional base to ensure the perfect, seamless melted end result.
By utilizing a combination of diagonal foils and open-air balayage, this technique creates soft, fanned dimension. The technique concludes with a seamless melted glaze using 07NB + 06C on Zone 1, melted beautifully into equal parts 08HC + 09HC through the mid-lengths and ends.
