[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for testing complimentary for Influenster and VoxBox. I have used this product after using both the Redken Color Extend Blondage Color Depositing Purple Shampoo and Conditioner. This is a good product to use post treating your hair with color or toner. Because my hair is color treated, it gets dry and tangled very easily. This product helps with those issues. I loved the way my hair feels when I go to style it after using this product. My only suggestion would be in the packaging of this product. Mine came in a "spay" type bottle and it is a little difficult to get the product out and evenly onto the hair in the shower.

Let me first start with my hair background; I’ve done a lot of damage over the years by bouncing color to color and using heat tools. I’ve been blonde for the past few years, and have been going lighter the past few months. My hair is still pretty healthy considering, but it can be a little weak after bleaching. I used this product with my first wash after highlights, and was pretty amazed with how strong it made my hair feel post bleach. I like the packaging, I feel like it makes the product easy to distribute. Influenster sent me this for testing purposes, and I’m happy to add it to my product list.

I have super coarse, wavy, frizzy, thick hair that over the last 32 yrs I've colored, permed twice with spiral curls. Now since we've been self isolating since literally the last two days of Feb 2020. My hair is no longer the color it was during Christmas 2019 (darker with blue/purple highlights all over. Besides not getting it cut until late May, I'm still left with hair that appears to be blond and grey with remnants of the blue/purple has now turned to pink. I had my hair bleach damaged very bad at a horrible salon a little over a year go. I had hair all the way to my bum and now its about a little over my shoulders because it was so damaged. I have been trying everything to maintain my hair and make the damage manageable while it grows out. I wear tape in extensions as well. I use this on my worse damaged bits of hair and it is great. You definitely want to use this sparingly because it is potent. Also you do not want your hair to have too much proteins because that can also cause breakage. This has definitely helped my hair from breaking off as much. The bottle lasts me forever.

I have bleached hair that I consistently use heat on. My biggest struggle is these scraggly layers that come from my ends breaking in the worst places. I use this on my hair after washing along with the redken extreme lengths primer, and have noticed a considerable decrease in breakage, along with a considerable increase in growth of my broken layers. It doesn't happen overnight, but within a month I noticed that my ends didn't seem so scraggly and piecey, and these were the only two new products added to my hair regimen. And for someone whose hair grows at a glacial pace, trimming isn't always an option, so maintaining what length I have is super important!

Long term help for damaged hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My hair has been severely damaged after a long time of over-dying so even now that I don't dye it anymore, there's still damage. I've lots of different leave-in serums and treatments but this is the first time I've actually seen a long-lasting effect on my hair. The Redken anti snap treatment has really helped the appearance of my split ends and has made my hair healthier looking overall. It's a very light product so it doesn't look nor feel like I'm wearing anything at all. It's not greasy whatsoever and is actually something my hair dresser told me to continue using because she was so impressed with the change in my hair.

Great investment for a great product! It's always easy to choose the least expensive hair and beauty products but sometimes you get what you pay for. I have very think, curly hair and use a lot of products on my hair. This is a must have in my routine. It helps to strengthen my hair and condition it. Helps reduce frizz and all around make your hair feel great. My mom (a hair dresser) used this religiously when some medicine caused her hair to thin. This helped protect her hair and reduce what was coming out. It also helped her hair to come back, stronger and just as full. Definitely worth you money with this product!

This stuff is phenomenal !!! I love it! I always wander off an try other products that all geared towards the same results , but I always find my way back to this! It works for your hair in so many ways ; damaged hair & split ends while providing protection against chemical damage, heat damage from hot hair styling tools we just can’t live without, also giving protection towards surface damage and let’s not forget hair breakage ! Your hair is left stronger , much smoother and the breakage and Dreadful split ends, are greatly decreases! And I can’t forget to mention the smell of this product and how great that is! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best product I've tried to reduce hair loss and breakage. I have thick long (down to my lower back) processed hair that is normally straight but the damage from the processing leaves my hair wavy and frizzy if I don't use any products. I was losing large clumps of hair both at the root as well as from breakage. It was scary the amounts of hair I was losing. I don't know if it was due to the salon processing or just natural hair loss. But this product has stopped about 90% if not 95% of my hair loss. I rub a half dollar coin sized amount between my hands then massage it along the length of my hair and on my scalp. It's the only product I need to reduce the hair lost.

I had not heard of Extreme Anti snap prior to receiving it to try. I'm pleasantly surprised by this. I have very thick, wavy, frizzy hair. I've used more expensive (salon) brands of leave-in treatments, and this is comparable in quality. This smells fantastic and very easy to apply to my hair. The smell is amazing, the consistency is not too thick or too thin, it doesn't weigh your hair down and it controls frizz! I I do believe it's helping keep my hair stronger and more intact. I love it! I would definitely continue to use this product and recommend this product to my family and friends.

This product worked well in replenishing my hair. I have thick wavy hair so I straighten it daily and over the years it’s been damaged. This helped bring the healthier and more vibrant look to my hair. This was also paired with redken shampoo and conditioner so it may have been the consistent use of leave in treatment, shampoo and conditioner over time/ the smell was pleasant as well. This repair left a softness and shiny after a few days of usage. The lasting effect after a few weeks of treatment last about 3 weeks. It’s a great product and works in maintaining healthy hair if used continuously

I live in an area with well water, and despite having a household water treatment system, my hair has become brittle since living here. Anti-snap most definitely helps to prevent more breakage, but I've found that there is potential for overuse. Personally, using about half the week on and half off seems to be best to prevent my hair from feeling stiff. Also, I continue to use a love-in conditioner as this product doesn't necessarily make hair softer. Anti-snap has a pleasant smell and product feel, as well as being easy to work through hair.

This magic bottle caught my eye when a friend of mine was selling her unused Ulta haul products after losing her hair. Since going through that bottle, I have continued to buy the leave in treatment from Ulta for about $20. This product is fantastic for oily roots and dry ends, it's a light formula that doesn't weigh down my hair while still smoothing and calming my crazy, frizzy ends! Even when my hair went through the ringer after I had a terrible salon experience with lightening my hair. It has always kept my hair soft and touchable, and a little bit goes a long way so I can make a bottle last for a long time! I like to use this combined with an oil on my ends, and it's a DREAM for dry hair!

Magic in a little blue bottle!

I dye my hair every month, and I straighten it sometimes when I go out. My hair eventually became distressed and damaged. Parts were extremely dry and felt like straw, and my hair overall was not soft or had any life to it. I tried the mayo treatment, Pantene Overnight Miracle, and a few other products and none of them worked. I finally went to Great Clips and was suggested to get this... and I am so glad I did! It works absolute wonders! My hair is healthy and not damaged anymore. It only takes a few squirts, and the product isn't sticky in your hands... plus it smells like cotton candy!

I absolutely love this product! I got it in an influenster box along with the blondange purple shampoo and conditioner and my hair has literally never been so soft. I would definitely recommend using all 3 together because even using this alone with my old shampoo and conditioner my hair was not as soft as when I used a completely redken regimine, but this stuff still works wonders!! I recommend it to all my friends and it really does repair hair. Definitely will be keeping this product in my routine! I just wish that it was a little but more natural but considering how great it works!!

Ok now...this is the second time I bought the Anti Snap. The first time I did NOT use it, and threw it in the trash, SOLELY because of many articles written that it causes SEVERE "protein overload", builup, plus very brittle hair that will "snap/break off". I HAVE TO SEE it for myself, as my hair is extremely dry, damaged, high porosity, dyed & bleached blonde, and naturally curly. I'm white with blue eyes from Barcelona, Spain, and my hair is very coarse and thick; natural color is dark ash blonde.
SO I WILL try it and report back. My hair is devastating to me; I try everything.

So I recently started using Redken because I bleached my hair and a lot of people recommended their extreme damage line. I bought the shampoo conditioner the leave in and a hair mask. All of these products have done so well for my hair. I had overprocessed bleached blond hair and needed a lot of conditioning and mositure. This product conditioned it as well as prevented a lot of my hair from falling out. Plus the breakage I had was insane to where whenever I'd shake my hair just a little I had little pieces breaking off. Since using this product I have not had that issue since. :)

I love extreme anti-snap. I've been using it longer than I can remember. I used to have a ton of split ends, but since I've been using this, I never have them. My hair looks great. I just wish they hadn't changed to a spray bottle from a pump. I love being able to see a certain amount in my palm and just spreading it where I want it as opposed to spraying and having no control over where it lands. Now I have to spray 6 or 7 pumps into my hand and I still don't get as much as I want. I'd be pumping forever. The consistency of the product seems a bit thinner than before, which I don't like. I'm only a third into the new spray version so we'll see if I still feel the same way about it down the line.

I found best results using 3 pumps of this on the mid-shaft to ends of my hair only. It brought a lot of shine and some control to that section of my hair. I will continue to use this stuff, although my stylist cautioned not to use too much, as protein can build up on my hair from both this and the Color Lock keratin treatment I use, potentially causing some fragility. This is one of few hair products that I find actually work as they claim.

I bought all 3 products for Extreme Redken last month . I’ve used All soft since they stopped making my favourite Smooth Down- it has better scent and was better product than all I have tried since . Extreme is extreme and my long thick blonde hair doesn’t respond well. I’m going back to All Soft & Redken Argan Oil again as had my hair past waist. The last few years have seen my hair go from shiny smooth to dry and porous. Need samples before I buy this months shampoo/ conditioner as purchase in 1000 ml only. Would love samples and recommendations for product closest to Smooth Down- salon told me it was Diamond oil at the time... it was rubbish . I want my nice Redken hair back that Brough compliments not tears

I came to this website to see if anyone else is having issues with new formula. My hair for YEARS has been super healthy and soft for the first time in decades (fine hair). I have been using this product for YEARS. However, lately my hair is brittle and dry and the only change I can think of is this product. You state that there was no change to the formula, but the old formula was much 'creamier' and thicker. There is no way that the old formula is now in a spray bottle. Is there a way to get my hands on the old formula / bottle? If not, I will likely have to try something else. I have suggested this product to a ton of people and I use the shampoo and conditioner as well ... but my hair needs something!

Can I just say how much I love this stuff and I can't get enough! I received a sample in one of my orders. At first I wasn't excited about using it because so many products I've tried made my hair oily but I decided to try this about a week ago. It only took that one try for me to fall in love my hair was so much easier to manage. I've got pretty thin hair but I dye it at least once a month and it's been getting some bad tangles in it. With this product, the tangles weren't as bad if I even had any and my hair was so much softer. Love this product for dry damaged hair.

My hair was still very touchable and felt like I had just gotten a cut and blowout at my salon. I will keep using. All the products were light weight for me but I don't have thinner hair. My hair wasn't oilier the next day like with some products like this. Which I loved. I would recommend for anyone looking for a repairing regimen to to try this at the very least and all three products if they can. I think it's definitely worth it!

I have been using the shampoo, conditioner and the leave in treatment and my hair has felt so healthy. I usually wash my hair every 2-3 days but it has been staying clean and greasy for up to 5! I have an extremely dry scalp and I was worried this product would make it worse but it has cleared up a bit after only 4 uses. I will definitely be buying more of this product and from the brand. My hair feels soft and clean and I feel like I have been shedding less hair when I shower and brush it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My hair is fine and thin and weighs down easily. I don't use this on my curtain bangs for fear of being greasy or flat if too weighed down.
I do love this on the rest of my hair though. I spray it in the back crown to ends and comb it through. It doesn't tangle and after drying my hair feels smooth and looks shiny.
I think Redken is a reputable brand so I believe that it will help with breakage since I am seeing the other claims in my results.
The shampoo and conditioner I use every other day, but this I use almost daily and still get good volume.

I am always looking for products that can offer some protection against the damage that is done to my hair. So far, I have found this to be helpful. I put it throughout my hair following a shampoo,but I put more of it on damaged areas, especially the ends (my hair is long). I have found it to be helpful. My hair is smoother and I do see less breakage. I think this could be especially helpful if used in a preventative way; use it before one's hair gets so damaged; so that hair is better protected from heat and chemicals. I see it being useful for both protection of healthy and treatment of damaged hair too.

I adore this product it's smells amazing it makes your hair feel amazing. It's light, its spectacular, spectacular. This is one product I pray that Redken never gets rid of nor modifies the formula (REDKEN DON'T DO IT). I don't use conditioner as I have oily hair, heavy hair, a lot of hair. I'm fortunate it's resilient. Once you towel dry hair put a little in your palm work it through focus on the ends. I just usually pat a little bit to the top of my head put in a loose bun and air-dry. People have literally asked what perfume I'm wearinf... I always say I think its my hair...I will always refer back to this. Let me repeat a little goes a long way so dont get greedy as it will just limpen and weigh your hair by dousing it in this.

I feel like this product made my hair feel a little more hydrated, which is why I would not rate it with zero stars but for how much you pay for the product I feel it made absolutely no difference with my hair. I traditionally put in Argan oil right after washing my hair, and still do the same with this added in and don't see a difference. Scientifically, once the hair is damaged it is damaged so I assume the object of this is to make it look healthy-- while it makes it feel better, you can still tell the split ends are there and ready to split off.

Anit Snap is perfect for damaged hair!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After my 1st day of using Redken Anti Snap I noticed my hair was softer and had some life to it. The smell of this is amazing and it's not sticky or flaky like some other leave in products. I used it before I blow dryed my hair and straightened it and I noticed I had less hair breaking off while doing this since I started using this product. It has many uses, for my daughter it was perfect her split ends on her long hair plus added bonus it conditioned her hair to be soft and wavy. I love Anti Snap and definitely will using this on daily basis!

If I could give zero stars I would. I have used this product for years & it was amazing but this is not the same product. It was runny & sticky & made my hair greasy looking on top & dry & very frizzy on the bottom. I couldn't use the sprayer because very little comes out & then if you pour it in your hands they get all sticky & slippery. I don't understand why companies have to change things. This was once an excellent product but not any more. I will have to look for something else to use. If something isn't broke please don't try to fix it.

This leave in conditioner is one of my favorites!! I use it when I scrunch/curl my hair with a blow dryer and diffuser. Honestly it makes your hair feel so soft and smooth. I trust my hair with redken. I’ve bought this 3 times to say the least & have tried every color in the redken Collection. The blue bottle is my favorite! Excellent product that provides easy to comb through hair, receptive to styling and protects from split ends or dry brittle hair. It has a pleasant smell and has an easy to use pump dispenser. Although nearing the bottom of the container you will need to remove the pump and tip the bottle up and pour into your hand to get the product out. I still wish I found this so much earlier because it does do wonders on my hair and I can tell the difference my hair is not as dry and brittle it does not break his often now! This is a must have

I have been using Anti-Snap for about 4 years and I will die if they stop making it! I have high porosity hair that needs a leave-in, but it doesn't tolerate too much oil and this is perfect. I regularly flat iron and recently lightened my hair from dark brown to a blonde ombre and also tried other products, but I always go back. It has been my go-to throughout every hair phase. ** I am not a paid reviewer, nor have I received any samples, nor am I entering a contest. I just genuinely love this product (and my Redken shampoos). **

I was hesitant about this product since I wasn’t a huge fan of the matching shampoo and conditioner in this line but I really love this spray! My one complaint would be that I wish it were easier to spray with one hand in the shower. Besides that though I have been using it added in with my normal shower routine and my joico purple shampoo and I definitely feel like it has strengthened my heat damaged hair. I have less split ends and my hair is more vibrant. I did receive this product free of charge for my honest review.

This product is AMAZING. I have very dry, brittle ends that constantly tear, break, and split. One of the cosmetology girls at my school used this on me and I went back and bought it a few days later because I loved it so much after one use. Obviously you aren't going to get results unless you continuously use it BUT your hair looks noticeably healthier due to the proteins and ceramide in this product. I LOVE this stuff. I use it every day on both damp and dry hair. It also doubles as a heat protectant. Highly recommend!

I have been using this product for years and it works wonders for my hair . So far I have not found anything else Even similar to it , nothing really compares to this product . It helps with damage , and heat protection from hair tools , and I swear keeps it the tangles away . Also this makes my hair so much more stronger and prevents it from breakage , this is one product I always have on hand and never go without it , it’s the secret to my amazing hair !!!
