Full Volume Mousse

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this complimentary Full Volume Mousse from Redken for an honest review. This is my first time trying anything Redken and I'm so happy they send it to me. I've tested it several times and even after a few days my hair still had volume and not weighed down. Today, I went wavy again. Pictures are washed and conditioned only. The right picture was last week air dried, without mousse and the left is with mousse only and then diffused. I love that a little goes a long way. This thick mousse smells good but I did find it a tad drying after a few days. I will keep playing with it since I do love my waves using it. So far it's a keeper. Thank you!

I like the smell of the product and the feeling of it in my hands, as it's not too sticky I have a shorter hair style, so I don't need to use much product. I have thin hair but also don't want big ole hair either. Just a healthy amount of volume so that my hair isn't just laying there on my head. This mousse really delivers that. I also like that it isn't crunchy and doesn't leave a wet look to my hair. I will definitely continue purchasing this product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm an avid volumizing mousse fan and this one lives up to its name. I will say though, that if you have dry hair, only apply at the roots for lift because it is a bit drying and can cause a little bit of tangling if you use throughout all of your hair. I found it to be a little harder to blowdry when I dispersed through all of my hair versus just my roots. I also have quite long hair so it's prone to tangling when volumizing products are used. Overall, great value for its HUGE size and efficacy. The scent is very light and does not linger.

I typically don't use mousse but have been using it for some time now and it has become a part of my hair care regimen. I would say it provides medium hold and helps fight humidity. The scent is fresh and smells good, just right and not too overpowering. The only thing that I could say that I didn't love about this is that it did extend my blow drying almost time almost to double the time, however I do have a super fast dying blow drier so the actually dry time wasn't that long and I'm told that I may not have applied it correctly so I wouldn't take my word for it. Overall the pros outweigh the cons and I recommend this mousse for anyone that wants touchable volume that shines and holds!

On my hair that needed to be treated, it was a light hold that didn't add any moisture or shine. Once my hair was freshly colored, it still provided a very light hold. I have a slight wave to my hair and I scrunch it when I blow it dry. I still needed to add another product to give my hair the hold it needed to maintain the curl throughout the day. I will use this product on days that I have nothing going on but still want some finished style.

This was a game changer though. It came out just like a regular mousse but it didn't leave my hair crunchy it felt almost like my hair had a film over it but not in a bad way, it was just so soft. It gave me incredible volume. I am absolutely in love and will keep this in rotation for my blowout days when I want my hair extra bouncy, voluminous, and shiny! Try it now you won't regret it!!!

The bottle itself is very appealing and durable. This will last a long time. One pump of mousse works for my hair. The pump allows for easy dispensing of the product, I can work the product into my hair very easily as well. This mousse did not make my hair feel crunchy, it provided a good amount of volume to my fine hair. The volume lasts all day. I would recommend this and buy this product again!
