ROOT TEASE BACKCOMBING SPRAY

It smells great, has adequate hold, and prolongs my hairstyles. I've used it on straight, wavy, and curly styles with success! I have a lot of long, dark, fine hair and it doesn't leave any funky white crunchies in my hair. I love the lift it gives my roots on day 2 or 3 of my wash cycle. The one negative thing I will say is that it leaves the hair pretty matte looking, which I know is exactly what it promises, but I have shiny hair and like to showcase that. So when I use this, I just have to accept that it's not a "shiny hair" type of day. Just a personal preference thing!

Overall, this is a lovely spray that feels lightweight but provides lasting hold when styling. I tried it after blowouts and when styling curled hair and provided noticeable lift to my styles that last about 8 hours. The scent is light and pleasant. It also controlled frizz in my hairstyle for the entire day. I would recommend this spray! Just be advised that the nozzle sprays in a unique pattern (like a horizontal line of spray) and I didn't realize this when applying it and accidentally sprayed myself in the eye while applying it to my roots. Please do some practice sprays and also keep your eyes and mouth closed when applying just in case you miss!

If you have super flat hair, you should definitely add this product into your cart. Redken has the best smelling products and even better that they are vegan! If you struggle with back combing or teasing your hair this product is a go to. Just add a few sprits to your roots and fluff it up and you are good to go. I'm so thankful that I was gifted this product in return for my honest opinion. I will definitely be recommending and repurchasing this product!

This is the first volumizing product that has actually worked for me. I followed the directions and sprayed the product at the root after styling. Definitely noticed instant body to my hair that lasted for a couple of hours. I was worried it would leave my scalp oily but it did not it actually has a matte finish. The scent is a plus. I've received so many compliments on the scent of my hair thanks to this product. Definitely recommend.

I go natural most of the time. This product worked so well that I I couldn't even brush the volume out of my hair. IT WAS SUPER BOUNCY. Redden definitely delivered what it promised. I spray a small amount on my roots. I didn't tease I just styled with a round brush. I just couldn't believe the volume I had without any yucky buildup. The volume lasted all day.

I've been loving this after blowing out my hair or really styling it anyway... curls, barrel waves, beachy waves. This stuff is great. It's marketed as a hair spray product but I'd say it's a 'holding texturizing spray'. I have finer hair and I love what this can do. It holds without being sticky or stiff so I can use it throughout ALL hair days leading up to hair wash day. This is a new must-have for me!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've tried a lot of texturising sprays in the past and most have been disappointing (the volume lasts about 20 minutes and then my hair is flat again) but this spray is a game changer. I love it! It really gives your hair a great volume that lasts for hours and it's not sticky and doesn't make my hair feel dry. I do have naturally quite thick hair so I don't know if it would be the same for people with thinner hair but I would say it's definitely worth giving it a try.

I use it as a final step in my hair care routine by spraying directly on my roots and ruffling my hair at my roots to achieve volume that looks like I backcombed my hair but without the tangles and hassle. It also has a nice light scent. I will definitely repurchase and recommend this product to anyone who needs lifting at the roots.
