Use as a complete system with Acidic Color Gloss Shampoo. After shampooing, apply to wet hair. Rinse. In case of contact with eyes, rinse them immediately.

My new conditioner!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, I love the fact that the label on the bottle is different to the shampoo. It really helps to be able to differentiate between the two in the shower when there is water in your eyes.
It, like shampoo, has a subtle pleasant smell.
A little goes a long way.
Leaves hair feeling silky upon rinsing.
My hair was so much easier to comb through, no tangles.
There was a definite shine and silkier texture to my hair after I styled it.
I wish I could give you something I didn't care for, but honestly, there wasn't a single thing I disliked about it.
I will be using this from now on, it made my current products feel very poor in comparison.

Lovey scent, smooths hair, can be a little greasy

I'm the past I haven't been a fan of Redken conditioner, but I can say this one definitely meets up to my standards. I recently colored my hair a few weeks ago, and while I don't think this particular product encourages the color to last longer, it does make my hair feel healthier.
My hair has more shine and is easier to comb through after washing it. However, I found that I need to rinse the conditioner out longer because it can leave a greasy texture on my ends, which in turn weighs down the strands. The conditioner overall is very good, you just have to remember to rinse ALL of the product out.

I already love the Acidic Bonding Concentrate line and the Acidic Gloss really takes it a step further. I use Shades EQ and this line really made it extra glossy, smooth, and it looked like it locked in the color. I absolutely love the smell—it's more of a cologne type smell, but still feminine.
I would 100% recommend this to all of my color people. The conditioner wasn't heavy and had the same smell as the shampoo. Ideally you could use this on all color clients. I feel this conditioner is lighter than the regular ABC conditioner, but still packed the punch it needed to lock in the shine/gloss.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love redken shampoo and conditioners so I was very excited to try the acidic color gloss activated glass conditioner after trying the shampoo. After I rinsed the shampoo out of my hair I put the conditioner in my hair and left it in for about 5 minutes. When I was rinsing it out my hair was noticeably more smooth already. After drying my hair it was so soft and smooth and the shine was beautiful. The shampoo and conditioner together made my hair look and feel more hydrated, silky, and soft with hardly any frizz and a ton of shine when my hair prior was very dull. I absolutely recommend. Redken has done it again with a great shampoo and conditioner!

When I do wash my hair I take my time and like to use high end products that really work with my curly color processed hair. I wanted to do several washes so that I could give a really honest review. This product really worked for me. My hair did not fade which is my primary concern. This conditioner made my hair feel so soft and was not burnt out. This product even fought frizz. I was able to fit this conditioner into my pretty intense routine with multiple curl products. I would recommend this conditioner and will be buying when I run out!

One of my favorite things about getting my hair glossed is how soft and healthy it feels immediately after. Usually that doesn't last long past a few weeks after a gloss, but this conditioner (with the shampoo as well) has helped maintain the shine and soft/healthy feel of my hair long past when my glosses typically fade.
The smell is vaguely chemical, very similar to how my hair smells after getting a gloss at the salon, but if anything for me that just confirms this is a salon-quality product made for home use. But if you are sensitive to scents, it's something you may want to consider.

My new HG Conditioner

I received this conditioner free from Bzzz agent in return for my review and I will definitely purchase when this bottle runs out.This shampoo & conditioner combo has made my hair bouncy & glossy.The only other thing I put in is the Redken volume mousse. The slip on this conditioner is amazing. I wash every other day and blow dry during colder months. I am usually sensitive to smells & this was fine, not strong smell. The only thing I would change is the bottle is heavy plastic and hard to squeeze. Otherwise this is my new HG set. Thanks

Unbelievably soft and smooth hair

First, I will admit that up until trying the acidic color gloss conditioner from Redken, I would normally use at least 3-4 additional styling products on my short, blonde hair, as a way to gain control, smoothness, shine, and basically lack of fuzziness. However, beginning with my first application of this conditioner, my hair was so smooth silky, and sparkling, that I found myself not bothering to reach for my usual band of air dry gel, frizz-free oil, pomade, and shine mist. I simply combed and went about my day. Honestly amazed! Worth every cent!

After applying the shampoo and rinsing I was very surprised at how smooth my hair was. Clearly different than it felt when using my prior product which is also the Redken brand. The conditioner was also very smooth feeling. I didn't enjoy the fragrance of the conditioner but the effect on my hair was great. After shampooing and conditioning I proceeded to dry and style. The process seemed much smoother and I definitely noticed a difference in the body and shine. I would certainly buy these again. The difference was noticeable. I would recommend this product to anyone with color treated hair.

Softened, but Not Significantly Moisturizing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoyed the sample I was given, but it was lackluster in moisturizing and in comparison to my current conditioner. I used my sample of the shampoo and conditioner and felt it left my hair quite soft and somewhat less frizzy. But I felt like it didn't have a significant difference in reducing the dryness of the ends of my hair once my hair was dry. I have very long hair that reaches my bum, so the ends are a bit dry and I use conditioner to help mitigate it but this left my hair lacking and I wouldn't buy instead of my current conditioner. It's not bad, but just not the best or better than what I'm currently using.

I get my hair colored every few months, so it fades a lot between treatments. I also have very fine hair, so I have to be careful with high shine products as they can make my hair appear greasy.
This shampoo and conditioner has definitely made my hair look less dull without weighing it down or making it look greasy. I typically don't use a lot of conditioner for this reason, but found this to be surprisingly lightweight. I knocked off a star because I am only a week into using it. Hoping the results don't fade!

Prior to this conditioner, I hadn't ever LOVED Redken. I have changed my mind. It leaves my hair hydrated without feeling greasy. Some conditioners can feel heavy, this one does not. It leaves me feeling hydrated and shiny. I have naturally wavy/curly hair, so when I dry my hair with a blow dryer, I tend to get some frizz.... this conditioner left me with a smooth, shiny, healthy-looking blow out. I feel like most conditioners do not ironically enough, condition and preserve color well. This conditioner was super thick and felt very moisturizing. The smell was fantastic! I was truly impressed with how soft and shiny my hair was once I blow dried it. And even more of a bonus, I can still smell the conditioner in my hair the following day, but the scent is not overwhelming, just super fresh. I know the price can seem a bit high, but I feel like the quality behind the product supports the cost.

I've been using the Redken Acidic Color Gloss Conditioner (along with the shampoo) since my last hair dye. I have been so impressed with both products! Conditioning my hair has always been an important step to keep my health healthy and this product stepped up to the task. As with the lather on the shampoo, this conditioner feels very rich and thick. You notice immediately in the shower how soft your hair becomes. My hair is tail bone length. I dye it dark brown just to cover the greys. So I really needed a conditioner that would help protect my hair color.
You know a conditioner is going to be good when it detangles as you rinse it out! It made my hair so soft and shiny it really seems to do what it says it'll do!
Pro tip rinse with cold water it helps a lot and it makes your hair even shinier and it keeps your hair color from fading as fast!
Over all I really like this shampoo, it smells divine and works even better with the matching shampoo!

About 8 months ago I went from platinum after 7 years back to my natural level 5 brown. My hair was fried and needed lots of help. Nothing worked. I was suprised and delighted! The fragrance is complex and sophisticated- not too floral or overpowering. The product went on and rinsed off with ease, and immediately my hair texture, volume and shine was substantially improved- better than any other product I have ever used! This product leaves a soft, gleaming shine without the stiffness and gluiness of Olaplex or other products that I have tried to repair my damaged, bleached hair. The initial smell is different, not bad, but there is one. It actually smelled quite pleasant while in my hair, I was shocked. I had just taken my hair down so it did take a full two washes, Following it up with this conditioner I can honestly say I did not get the usual "slip" conditioners provide. I can only guess it's because of the ph level and purpose of the conditioner. My hair was still soft and shiny. I don't think I had any issue styling my hair either so it still did it's job.

It did become very shiny after several uses and it was easier to comb out the tangles, when combined with the matching shampoo. I was worried about a ph product as my hair designer has said that they should be used with input from a salon expert as they can be harsh or not appropriate for all hair types/conditions. This conditioner was great on my hair and didn't leave a heavy residue or feeling in it. After about 3 uses my hair became softer and much more shiny without being brassy..

I loved this conditioner and how soft it made my hair. Also my hair color stayed in much better with the conditioner and made it super shiny and very manageable. Next I notice the scent. It isn't overpowering but it is definitely noticeable. It has a more salon type scent than your floral or delicate scents. I have long hair and I only use a very small amount of this conditioner to cover all the hair I need to. It feels soft while you rub it on and afterwards when I dry your hair it feels soft then too. My hair has been easy to brush out while wet and easy to brush through when dry. I have no complaints.

Sometimes with various ones I've used in the past it feels like it takes forever to rinse them out and they leave your hair feeling heavy that was not the case with this it left my hair feeling and looking light and healthy and like I had just received a shampoo and condition treatment at a salon. As far as maintaining the color of my dyed hair I felt that it made it more vibrant and I can see that it's lasting longer than other color safe shampoo and conditioner products that I've used. But overall the best feature was the fact that it did not weigh my hair down and actually made it feel more lightweight and full at the same time which was great.

This conditioner added moisture and shine. Just as the shampoo you don't need much to add to your hair, the conditioner is thicker than the shampoo, I had to wait a few minutes for it to come out. Loved it. The smell is amazing too, without the heavy perfume smell. The shampoo and conditioner together gave a great shine with moisture. I will continue to use both products to see what other effects it has on my hair. I definitely recommend this product x10.

The first thing I noticed is the scent. It's a clean floral aromatic scent which I quite enjoyed. The scent is light and not at all overwhelming rather quite appealing.
I have color treated curly hair which tends to need extra moisture. Finding a proper shampoo&conditioner is a challenge. This particular one left my hair shiny, light, not frizzy, and the color was more vibrant than I've seen it before!! This product did not disappoint!
I will definitely continue using this product&highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I color my hair a lot so it tends to be on the dryer side as of lately so this Acidic Color Gloss Conditioner was a life saver to my hair! It made my hair feel soft and healthier and the color look more vibrant. I have blue mermaid color hair right now so I only wash my hair once or twice a week to keep the color from fading and I wash it in cold water. It makes any bleeding of your color almost stop if your water is cold enough. This shampoo & conditioner together I am still amazed at how healthy and soft it made my hair even after one time of using it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My usual go to shampoo/conditioner is the redken acidic bonding concentrate. I received this product as a sample to try in exchange for a review and I think I am switching over to this line! I recently died my hair and I feel like this shampoo/conditioner has been able to maintain the color very well and fresh! I also have very fine/thin hair and this conditioner does not weight it down at all while still giving it shine. My favorite part about this line though is THE SCENT! It is one of the most luxurious shampoo/conditioner scents I have ever smelled!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was honestly a little hesitant to try this conditioner, because the word "acidic" sounds a little scary. I was worried it would fry my hair or something! However, my worries were quickly squashed when I tried it for the first time. It looks and feels exactly like you would expect from a conditioner, and it smells great. Every time I use it, I feel like I've just come from the salon. My hair feels so soft and healthy after using it just once, but after using it every day for a while now, I don't think my hair has ever felt better. Highly recommended!

Pretty Good, but I like IGK Color Gloss Better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I've only been able to use this product 3x since I've received it (I wash my hair 2x/week), I can feel a slight difference in the way it coats/protects my hair. It has a pleasant scent and feels light when rinsing out as well. I use the IGK "Expensive Color Gloss" conditioner/top coat and notice this product feels similar to it, but this product is just not as silky when it rinses out. I also notice my hair isn't as smooth after blowing it out, like it is after I use the IGK Expensive Color Gloss, so it was a tiny bit disappointing. I'll keep trying it to see if it changes as I use it more, but after the first use of the IGK product, I noticed a significant difference in the texture and smoothness of my hair after I blow it out.

I'd never heard of acidic shampoo so I was super excited to try it, and I wasn't disappointed. The conditioner is a great thick consistency so you don't need much. After several washes I could see a difference in my ends. I have a fair amount of split ends and always have and they can get pretty wild but after a few washes they looked better! I could actually wear my hair straight versus curling it to hide the ends. The only slight drawback is that the fragrance is very strong. It's a nice unisex smell though that anyone can use. But if you were looking for something with a light smell this wouldn't be for you. Bottom line tho, I liked how it transformed my ends so I would recommend

If you're looking to extend the life of your bleached /color treated hair either permanent or wash-out color then this is the shampoo & conditioner of your dreams. Sulfate Free means less harsh ingredients on already dry hair & it can be used daily with no worry of stripping moisture . The smell was light it lathers so well and the conditioner rinses out easily .My hair was so shiny my husband even noticed so that says alot.

Brings back Shine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After many many years of highlighting, my very thick hair, add in my age, you really lose the shine, plus with all the heating damage from flatteners equals damaged dull hair. I've been using this conditioner for about three weeks now, and I am happy to say I can see a big difference. My hair has a shine to it that it hasn't had for years and I can just feel the difference - my hair feels like it's coming back to life again. You only need a small amount, it goes a long way and you save space in your shower with the smaller bottle. Win Win

Redken hits it again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ive used quite a few Redken products over the years. With the exception of a few misses, the majority of them are hits and this is no different. I never really knew ph mattered with your hair. In conjunction with the shampoo this made my hair feel like glass. I still have one or two other favorites but this has become top 5. Conditioners, are definitely needed with my damaged hair. But they always weigh my hair down too much or too little. And if they are decent I lose some of the shiny gloss effect. With this conditioner I don't have any of those problems. Plus, being an athlete, my hair doesn't get oily as fast which helps tremendously. I would definitely buy again and would definitely recommend. (I recieved this for free in exchange for a review)

OK conditioner

I do like it, it lathers well and I like the ingredients, but I do not think I would use a second bottle. The smell is stronger than I prefer and almost smells floral and masculine at the same time. The shampoo and conditioner do not smell the same to me either, which I thought was odd. My hair gets greasier quicker with this product then some others I have used recently. I have used other Redkin shampoo/conditioner in the past and preferred those to this kind.

Loving how it's changed my hair

I've been struggling for the past year or so to find a shampoo and conditioner that really properly moisturized my processed hair, I've tried OlaPlex, and other bonding shampoos and conditioning treatments to no avail. After using the shampoo and conditioner for just under a month, I see a real difference in my hair. It is softer, more lustrous, and much easier to manage. I will definitely be purchasing this product again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm sampling this shampoo as part of a Bzz Agent campaign. The packaging is sleek, the shampoo is a pretty pearly white and it smells divine-not too overpowering but definitely a floral with a touch of woodiness. The formula didn't leave my hair feeling too squeaky, which is good since my hair is dry and very curly. After blow drying my hair was definitely shiny and bouncy, but it felt a tad 'dry', even after using the conditioner. I would surely use it again but I will follow up with a leave-in to give my hair a bit more moisture.
