HELPING OUR COMMUNITY MAKE MORE SUSTAINABLE CHOICES

At Redken, we are committed to increasing transparency around the environmental and social footprint of our products so that our consumers can make informed and more sustainable choices.

As a leading professional hair brand, Redken is committed to creating products that are powered by rigorous science and reach the highest standards of environmental sustainability. Redken continues to make strides towards this by working across the lifecycle of our haircare and styling products with the labs, packaging development and manufacturing teams to minimize the products’ environmental impact.

To further Redken’s commitment to improved transparency, we are introducing a new A to E labeling system that shows consumers and professional hairdressers the relative environmental impact of Redken products compared to other L’Oreal Groupe products in the same category. An A score indicates a “best in class ” product in terms of environmental footprint. While D and E scores indicate worst scores in the category, where work is underway to address the negative impact.
