HOW TO USE

Shake well before use. Use Gloss-in-Mask as a complete regimen with Acidic Color Gloss Shampoo. After shampooing, apply mask to wet hair from mid-lengths to ends. Leave-on for 1-minute. Rinse thoroughly. Use at least once per week, or as often as needed. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately.

What to Know: • Because it’s on the thinner side, you have to use a little extra (especially on medium/thick or dry hair) to really work it through. • If you’re hoping for that “glossy mirror shine” right away, you might need a few washes (or add a shine serum) for that wow factor.

    Not the best hair mask but there’s a bit of shine

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven’t colored my hair in a few years (maybe 4?) so this may not be the best review but trying this on my current black hair, I’d say there is that smooth feeling after a good hair mask but once my hair dried, the gloss wasn’t as evident. I do have dry / frizzy natural hair but I think this only gave a quick smooth feeling after and while it shined a bit, I wouldn’t say this is my go to hair mask at the moment. I’d give it another go when I’ve colored my hair again (Maybe there’s an ingredient/chemical that helps with the bleach, etc.) The wash for this was really easy to use like any other hair mask. The product didn’t feel greasy or too liquid.

My hair use to be so frizzy and unhealthy with no shine at all. Now it's smooth and sleek as well as shiny and beautiful. This product has gave me confidence and made me look forward to fixing my hair again. It doesn't leave a great residue on my hair like other products do and it's very easy to get rinsed. I like how you only have to leave it in for a minute so it doesn't take a long time to use. The before and after is literally amazing and I will continue using this product as well as recommend to others.

    Good but Could Be Better

I love the scent of this mask -floral but a bit musky. The consistency is good - creamy without being too thick or thin. My hair feels soft and silky without being heavy or greasy. Pros: easy to use, 1-minute treatment, nice smell, rinses easily Cons: a bit on the pricey side, not the best I’ve used, nor considered cruelty free I do like this conditioning mask but it’s not my favorite. I’ve used other masks that truly controlled my frizz and flyaways better. Also, I’ve not noticed if it preserved my color.

      Good but strong scent

My hair ends r pretty much dead because of bleaching so anything that can make is smooth or shiny and not tangled is counted as good. I do see a lot more shine and smoothness after using it x1 versus most of the hair treatments in the market.But I can’t really stand the smell. It is very strong and it makes me nauseas, I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone who is sensitive to smell or dislike sweet smelling scent. Other than that it’s pretty good. The 2nd picture was a photo taken at night time, so my phone’s camera made it a little off colored. But you can still see the shine. First picture is when I used other products a few days before.

It’s definitely made my hair more shiny and less frizzy, before and after pics are both the morning after washing, air drying my hair, braiding it overnight and sleeping with a silk bonnet…I feel like it’s noticeably smoother afterwards and I only used this mask 4 times over the course of 2 weeks. It also smells pretty good to me, bottle is the same size as my shampoos and conditioners so I think it’s a good value.

The product it’s self is very thin and not at all like any other hair mask I’ve ever used before I feel like it didn’t stay in my hair very well if that makes sense, it ran off my hair no sooner than I applied it. The scent was ok not to overpowering but for me I love a good scent and want it to stay in my hair it’s very citrusy smelling just not super strong. The packaging is gorgeous though I love the pink and black together but the value for the product in my honest opinion is a little on the pricey side for the quality

      Easy mask that’s makes hair soft and nice

I have untreated hair so I wasn’t sure if I would be able to tell a difference but after reviewing my before and after pictures I can tell there is actually a difference; my hair is more darker toned and straighter. My hair also feels very sleek and soft not the usual dry and tangly. The reason why I removed a star was for the scent, this stuff smells very chemically and not too pleasant; the good thing is the scent doesn’t last or stick to the hair. Overall I think I’m going to keep using it to see what my hair looks like once the bottle is empty but I do see a difference in my hair.

Redkin Gloss-in-Mask is used at least once a week from mid-length to ends. The tube with a flip-open lid is sturdy and easy to use with one hand. Super easy to use as you apply the gloss after shampooing to the mid-length to ends. Leave on for only one minute then rinse. I love the fact that this works on color treated hair. It has a light fragrance that is not too overpowering. I am definitely glad I tried this product and love the way it makes my hair shine!

I have color treated, thin, fine hair with some heat damage I'm trying to overcome right now, and this mask is really amazing. Every time I use it, my hair instantly becomes softer and smoother and feels ultra moisturized. You apply it after shampooing and leave on for one minute before rinsing then following up with conditioner, so it's really easy and quick to use. You can use it once a week or more often if needed. It smells really nice too and makes me feel like I've come out of the salon every time I use it! Pictures really can't do justice but it has really made my hair much more smooth, soft and moisturized and is helping tremendously with my heat damage!

After using it in the shower for literally just one minute, my hair is just so much shiner and more hydrated. This is a new holy grail for me and I can’t imagine a life where this will not be in my shower. I love that you don’t need to add heat to activated it, but when you do your hair will just be the glossiest, lightest, most shampoo commercial version of itself.       Refreshed my hair routine

It’s a lighter formula than I expected with a pleasant smell, but it really only takes a minute of the product in the hair to see results.       How healthy your hair feels and looks after using.

I went through radiation and it destroyed my hair I lost hair and some faces, and in other places it was just so dry and brittle and I just didn't know what to do. When I received the product in the mail I tried it and it smells so good. I used it once a week like I said on the bottle and I cannot believe the difference in my hair I thought I was going to have to cut my hair because it was so damaged but it brought life back to my hair it feels silky, soft, and it has a shiny glow to it. I highly recommend this product if you have dry damaged hair it repairs it really well and I will be a customer of this product for a long long time.

The product itself has just a very faint dye-like smell, but it’s very mild. I applied it like a regular hair mask and left it on for about 5 minutes before rinsing. It doesn’t have that super-slippery conditioner feel while you’re rinsing it out, but once my hair dried, it felt noticeably smoother and softer to the touch.

It helps with frizz, smooths my flyaways, brightens the color, and makes it so shiny. This mask says it keeps your color longer and makes it shiny, and it really does! It's super easy to use. After shampooing, I just put it on, waited 1 minute like the instructions say, and rinsed. It feels really good and smells amazing, which is even better. My hair felt so soft after using it. Usually, my hair is dry after coloring, but this mask made it feel moisturized. It looks healthy, like I just got it done at a salon. My girlfriend even compliments how nice my hair looks so i obviously recommend.

Since getting highlights done, a lot of my strands would often feel dried and knotted up, despite conditioning every time I washed. Now using this 1-2 time a week, this mask definitely helped improve not just the way it looks, but the feeling too. Soooo much silkier than it previously was-- love love love!! The scent on this product is also so addictive and lasting! Glad it's a squirt bottle mask than a jar type, much easier to get the product out that way too.

I did it once a week and after the second week I noticed a huge difference in the shine and how soft and sealed the cuticle looked and I was amazed how well it transformed my hair. Easy to use squeeze the right amount of product. And smells clean and fresh after on your hair. Would definitely recommend if your hair looks dull and lifeless.

This product is so easy to use and after letting it process for just one minute, I already notice a difference. It is shiny, smooth and looks as though I just left the salon after a blowout. It took less time than is normal for it to dry and it looks so fresh and smooth.       Just an average hair mask

The texture is almost like creamy liquid, which i felt like i needed a bigger amount of product each use. I’d prefer a thicker texture. Packaging is normal like others, nothing special. One thing i didnt like that was the scent. It went away afterward but it was pretty strong at first and smelled more like chemical. I didnt like the scent. Though it did give my hair a smooth and soft feeling after use. However, not much of a change for my hair before and after i use this product.

      [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this product a few times and I didn't notice much if any difference in my hair. The scent is unoffensive, its kind of nice. The texture is a little runny. It squirts out of the hole pretty quickly. It goes into the hair pretty easily, then you leave it for a minute, rinse, and that's it. It's a straightforward product. You use it after shampooing. I did not have the recommended shampoo, but I worked with what I had. It doesn't say to condition after but I did put leave in conditioner on my hair, unsure if that affects the gloss or not. But I didn't want to change my routine too much. Anyways my hair is shiny, im not sure if its more shiny or not. The slightly greasy picture is before, the second picture is the next morning after using the product the night prior.

I was excited to try Redken’s Acidic Color Gloss. This is a 1 minute hair gloss treatment which helps with instant shine and hydration. It uses pH technology to achieve the glossing effect. Per the instructions, I used this after shampooing my hair and left it on the mids and ends for one minute before rinsing it out. My hair is blond, so it can sometimes be harder to notice shine and gloss, but after using this product and doing my normal hair routine, I did notice extra shine, softness, and my ends looked hydrated and healthy! It also smells great! Overall, I’d recommend this Redken Acidic Color Gloss if you’re wanting your hair to look glossy and healthy!

I have used almost every brand of hair product but I always come back to Redken and I exclusively use Redken hair color. I have been eyeing this every time I go to the salon store. As a blonde, I lack in the shine department. It’s so hard to have healthy looking blonde hair! I washed my hair and shook the gloss bottle as directed. I used the same amount as I would conditioner. It absorbed almost immediately and didn’t feel like it sat on the outside of my hair. It felt like it absorbed. I was pleasantly surprised with the light scent. I was very excited to receive this. I thought it smelled great and couldn't wait to try it on my hair. My hair is very thin, fine, and on the drier side. Unfortunately, I do not feel this product worked well on my hair type. I followed the directions provided and unfortunately, after using this product, my hair was even drier than it was before. I didn't notice any increased shine and overall did not like the way my hair felt after using it. I tried it multiple times over the course of a couple weeks and it was the same each time I used it. My hair needed increased conditioning after using it. While it may work well for some hair types, I don't feel it worked well on mine.
