Acidic Color Gloss Leave In

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited that Redken sent me this free product through the Bzzagent sampling program to review! I bleach and color my hair a lot outside of styling it, so I know it's taken a beating. This product aims to restore my hair to it's natural ph, seal the cuticle, and even provide heat styling protection. I used this over several days before deciding I'd recommend this to others and purchase myself. It isn't a unique product, I found that L'Oreal offers a similar in-shower spray that I've used and think is comparable. Overall, the glossy shine result and the heat protection offered in the Redken acidic color gloss makes me like it even more.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Redken Acidic color gloss spray pros: the bottle is easy to hold and the sprayer gives you a perfect spray. I have color treated, medium thick, wavy, long hair. I sprayed a few pumps on my freshly washed damp hair, first noticed it smelled very good, not overpowering. I used a hair dryer and a round brush to dry and style my hair, the formula is not sticky and I had no problem running my brush thru my hair. There was noticeable shine throughout my hair and no crunchiness at all, just soft hair. Compared to other products I was using, this made a big difference. It was also very easy to wash my hair after using this as well. I would recommend this.

The treatment works as well as other products I have tried but I didn't find that it worked enough to change my mind about my current product. The shine/gloss is great. The smell irritates my sinuses and is not a smell I would choose. It leaves a clean look to your hair. It's not greasy and it does a good job moisturizing your hair. It seems to have helped smooth my hair and protect it during blow drying and straightening which I do often. I was not impressed with the price tag. I was not wowed enough to ever purchase it again over my current product.

It provides protection from heat up to 450 degrees as well as pollution by adding an invisible protective shield to the hair. It provides shine and helps to keep color treatments protected. I would definitely purchase this in the future because I love the shine it gives my hair as well as the heat protection. I also love how it smells. It's a light floral scent. I really like the pump on this bottle and the fact that I'm able to lock and unlock the nozzle. It makes it easier to keep my product safe around my Grandson who loves to spray things.

I immediately began using the product in my everyday hair routine after I received it, and I spray it on my hair when it's damp before blow drying it, and also when it's dry and I'm going to straighten or curl it. It has left my hair so smooth and sleek feeling, and extremely shiny. I find that a lot of heat protectants can leave your hair oily feeling, but this one did not do that to me thankfully. I love that it has smoothing benefits as well as heat protecting benefits. I will be purchasing this again once I run out

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used this product twice, once after about 15 minutes of showering and washing my hair. While my hair was still damp, I sprayed over my hair and combed through. I absolutely love the smell/scent And how it left my hair, feeling smooth and had a nice healthy shine. The second time I applied the product to my dry hair and again love the results. The scent is one of my favorite things about this product. The mist that is sprayed is evenly applied and product easy to use. I also like that it has a locking feature to not spray accidentally. Would highly recommend two friends and family and will buy this product in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this heat protector! I've tried others and hated how dry and crunchy it would leave my hair feeling. I was skeptical of this one at first, assuming it would be like all the others I've tried, but as soon as I used this to style and curl my hair I automatically noticed the difference. My hair actually felt soft and not dry at all. The best part was that it actually leaves my highlights shining thru than making it look dull and dry. Love this product! Best one I've found for protecting my hair from harsh heat while also giving that extra shine I've missed for soo long! Highly recommend for anyone with color treated hair!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My hair type is color treated (#8 blonde) 4c curl pattern. Overall, I did not like this for my hair. My hair felt dry, not manageable and brittle after applying. I tried to apply my normal leave in (Mizani) after using the Acidic Color Gloss to soften it up but it did not help much. I styled it using finger coils and I let it air dry. I don't sit under heat too much anymore but will use a diffuser. I didn't notice more shine after. I plan to try it more times to see if maybe this was a one off, but I am a believer that some times what does not work for me may work for you. I like the packaging, the bottle was easy to use.
