This deep moisturizing treatment is exactly that. You can feel the smooth, almost cold feeling the hair strand has when it has completely sealed. No split ends, no frizz and yet no heavy feeling either. Redken has by far out done themselves with this line. The intensive Treatment is alone an amazing product and will leave your hair smooth and silky. It also works amazingly when combined with the shampoo and conditioner of the same line. I love this stuff and it has become a absolute staple in my hair care routine!

Increased shine and softness? Yes, please!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have fine, thin, straight, colored hair with a good number of grays. Because of the frequent coloring and the (lack of) texture - any damage is very apparent.
I used the product exactly as recommended by applying to damp hair, leaving on for 10 minutes and then rinsing and washing my hair as usual. The product is easy to apply - it goes on white and then becomes invisible. It smells good - kind of like a mild citrus scent.
After normal blow drying, my hair was indeed shiny and soft - and the ends look more dense. The bit of frizz that tends to form around my neck is smoother as well.
I will definitely be using this 1-2 times per week!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product was a brand new idea for me! I had never tried such a product. It's pretty great! My hair feels lightweight and more soft! The vibrancy of my hair color shines bright, too!
The one thing that I believe would have been helpful is to have the shampoo and conditioner to get the full effect.
I would say that using this once per week or a couple of times per week, would be ideal. This way you can keep the benefits going.
I would buy this product. And I would and have recommended this product to family! I have friends and family members who have hard water that damages their hair. This product would be very beneficial for that!

My hair didn't fall out!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love love love this stuff!, so I am going to paint a picture. My hair is about 3 1/2 feet long, so pretty much down to my booty. My hair WAS red , and I decided ooooo it's spring let's be fun SOOOO, the bleaching began, after round 3 of bleach within 2 days my hair was threatening to leave me so I used the Redken acidic bonding concentrate intensive treatment, immediately after I rinsed this out and shampoo and conditioned my hair per the instructions on the bottle, I could brush through my hair again! It was like I never over processed my hair at all, my hair was thankfully , smooth and silky once again, highly highly recommend this product.

My hair is thick, coarse and dry and after using this treatment, my hair feels so soft, more manageable and stronger. I color my hair regularly and use heat styling products on my hair daily which adds to the dryness, brittleness and breakage in my hair. This intensive treatment does a wonderful job of protecting my hair against breakage and fortifying strands from within to keep my hair healthy. The treatment starts working in just 5 minutes and is so easy to incorporate into my routine. I would highly recommend this product!

Stronger & healthier hair after 1x use!

So I'm a loyal fan of Olaplex (3), and I figured I would never stray. However, as someone who has used that for years, I must tell you it has a bit of a con: you CAN overdo Olaplex, leaving your hair flat and heavy. Enter this Redken Acidic Bonding treatment, which while the principle may sound similar - it's quite a different product. It uses an AHA (not the same one in your skincare products) to strengthen the hair. What I've noticed in terms of differences is that this seems to immediately leave my hair looking shinier and feeling softer. This is in stark contrast to Olaplex, where it takes weeks to begin to see the results.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow!! Redken has knocked it out of the park with this haircare line, Acidic Bonding Concentrate Intensive Treatment. My hair is always frizzy no matter what I do. Well thanks to Redken I no longer have that problem. This is salon grade haircare that smells Heavenly and gets the job done! With every use of this Acidic Intensive Treatment my hair just kept improving and getting better. My friends and family noticed right away that my hair had been transformed, of course, that now has me hooked. I highly recommend this product if you suffer from dry, frizzy, damaged or over processed hair...it's a life saver. Zero bad hair days now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found this product to be super easy to use. Application was a breeze, just one step. I let it sit for 10 minutes and then washed out. The directions say to follow up with the Acidic Bonding Shampoo and Conditioner. I wish this sample would have come as the complete kit, but since those weren't included, I used the Redken ColorExtend Shampoo and Conditioner that I already had on hand. Combing through my damp hair did seem a little easier, as did blow drying. Overall, I think it did make my hair a little healthier and more manageable, however not a great deal. Perhaps wtih the rest of the products that are recommended, I'd get better results.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not a frequent user of Redken products, so I was anxious to try this. I have short, thin hair that after a day without washing goes limp and oily.
The first time I tried this product, I washed and conditioned my hair, I misunderstood the instructions and used this as a leave-in conditioner. I am happy to report, despite my ineptitude, my hair looked amazing! I had lots of volume! Once I re-read and followed the instructions, it worked even better! Typically, after a day of not washing my hair it starts to go limp and gets oily. After using the Redken intensive treatment my hair looked amazing for 2-3 days! I would definitely recommend!

I wasn’t sure how much product to use on my hair, but the consistency is similar to a lightweight conditioner. I LOVE the scent and the ease with which to use it (for extra strength and repair). However, I would’ve loved to see a recommendation or direction on the bottle for how often to use a treatment like this one. Additionally, I think that leaving the treatment on damp hair for 5-10 minutes may be pushing my realistic timeframe. Other than that, I loved getting to try this product out! I really think my hair will be better for it!

The name is odd but this works

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to say the "acidic bonding" language put me off initially- I was afraid it would mess up my color or the keratin treatment ... it said it was safe for colored hair so I took the plunge. I got my hair damp, put about 2 tablespoons in my slightly longer than shoulder length hair and waited about 7 minutes, rinsed it out. Washed & conditioned. I used the leave in product before I dried my hair. My hair is wavy and gets frizzy in the humidity (I live in SC where it's VErY humid). My hair became really soft, and pretty resistant to the humidity. Also - it didn't look greasy after 2 or 3 days. I keep touching its- it's really soft.

I spent 2 years severely depressed and as embarrassing as it is to admit I wasn't taking care of my hair..and it got severely matted..after getting better and tackling the beast my hair was broken fried and in DESPERATE need of love..these products visibly transformed my hair after just 2 uses..

Great product -left me feeling fancy

I personally use vivid colors on my hair so I aways struggle with finding product that isn't going to just strip the color out. When I rinsed there was almost NO color in fade and I have just colored it within a week!
It left my hair so much less frizzy than other products and not greasy at all which is sometimes the case. Since I use vivid colors I tend to wash my hair less than 3 times a week but by the time I am ready to my hair is definitely itchy and ready, I went a whole week without feeling yucky at all! Definitely recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed this product. 💕☺ I sprayed my hair with water before taking a shower then used about a quarter size of product to go through my ends and length of my hair. There weren't any instruction of how much product to use but this worked for me. I left it in for the reccomended time and when I rinsed it my hair instantly felt softer and it was easier to undo knots.🤯🔥 I wash my hair once a week and I feel the difference. I have processed damaged hair and using this product made me feel like my hair is healthier. I love the smell it reminds me of a hair salon. I definitely reccomend and will purchase it when I run out.😍

Many folks don't know that a lot of the issues we have with our hair on the regular have to due with issues with the PH balance of the products we pile on. Last night I went ahead and did the same as I did with the first described wash, starting with the acid bonding concentrate prior to getting in the shower, then shampoo, conditioner, leave in, hair mask treatments. Needless to say, it undid the unpleasant feeling from the protein filler and my hair just feels and looks nice! I plan to buy the rest of the line! This is incredible. Speechless.

On the road to repair!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have super-damaged processed hair from bleaching. I have been on the mend for a while, trying different products and laying off the chemicals. Most products "help" but take FOREVER to notice any type of result and it's painful to wait while your hair looks like a baby chick's bottom. This is the first product that I can use in the shower and rinse out that I see change within 2 uses. I only used this treatment with regular shampoo and conditioner so I am super excited to see what kind of progress I make with the matching shampoo and conditioner and some more time! Feeling like I stumbled on a new cure for my damaged coif!

I'm absolutely in love with this pre-shampoo treatment! I actually already use the Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate shampoo and leave-in treatment, but had not previously used this intensive treatment; adding it to my routine has helped further repair my bleach damaged hair! It's super simple to use (simply apply to damp hair, let sit for 5-10 minutes and wash out with shampoo) and leaves my hair getting stronger and looking healthier. This one is a huge recommend for anyone with bleach damaged hair!!

Second; this combined with the leave-in treatment left me SPEECHLESS. I have hand tied extensions and my hair feels softer than it has ever felt! I am truly obsessed. It leaves my hair & extensions looking glossy and smooth like they belong in a PANTENE commercial, (because let’s be honest, those hair models are phenomenal.)
It mends the split ends and random frizzys, makes it darn near tangle-proof & it’s not HEAVY! It leaves my hair lightweight and bouncy as if I just had a blowout! Well worth the money and I would suspect it works even better combined with the shampoo and conditioner.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I saw a huge improvement in my hair after one use of this Bonding Care Complex Intensive Treatment. I used this white cream as instructed prior to shampoo and then rinsed and followed with my normal shampoo and conditioner for color treated hair. I tend to have frizz and flyaways from monthly coloring and also I live in a very dry climate so in winter it's especially worse. After first use my hair felt more conditioned than usual, softer and much less flyaways. Very happy with this easy to use treatment since my hair can only improve with use of this pH balancing acidic formula. The fresh scent is not overly strong and rinses away after I follow with shampoo.

I have used this product for over two weeks now with my regular shampoo and conditioner. I have seen great results, and I assume the product would be even better if used with its corresponding shampoo and conditioner.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My hairdresser passed away last year. I haven’t had a haircut in almost 2 years. I’ve had to use hair color off the shelf or previously she had colored my hair and kept it in wonderful condition. Needless to say box die, and no haircut mean dry straw ends this acidic bonding concentrate put new life into the ends of my hair Now I just need to find someone new to cut my hair. It’s surprisingly difficult as grief gets in the way. But at least I have the acidic bonding concentrate In the meantime, which gives me presentable hair. It’s easy to use and really seems to work. The one caveat I would give is it does make my hair soft to the point of losing some volume.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My hair has been constantly bleached throughout many years. I have used olaplex 3 and some deep conditioning masks. They helped some but my hair still looked very unhappy, frizzy and brittle. I tried this redken line and my hair looks like it did before I started bleaching my hair! smooth and healthy! Which is difficult for us blondes!! I left the treatment in for approximately 20-30 minutes, washed with the shampoo and conditioner (let the conditioner sit for about 10 minutes). I finished with the leave in and my hair looks so great. If you have any damage, I highly recommend this. This will remain a staple in my hair care.

My hair doesn’t feel significantly stronger and my split ends haven’t noticeably decreased. Immediately after use, my hair doesn’t feel softer or smell better; I feel like I could achieve similar results with an ordinary shampoo. However, I have noticed that my hair looks less frizzy after using this treatment. It’s also worth noting that I have extensive heat and bleach damage, so I didn’t necessarily expect this product to completely transform my hair. For the price point, I am unsure if I will repurchase this in the future.

Really nice especially for frizzy hair

It made my hair feel a lot stronger already in the shower, and especially when it dries. I recommend blow drying because I usually air dry, but it wouldn’t dry at all. I have fine hair for reference. It feels like there’s product in my hair and I’m not really used to that, but it looks great! I also recommend they give people instructions for the amount to use because it’s possible I used too much. (About a nickel size amount.) For thicker hair, that’s probably perfect- that or I’m just not used to product. Built in heat protectant so that helps. Love it!

However, I have noticed an immediate difference in the appearance after 2 weeks of using this product. Typically my hair looks normal and dull after drying. However, this product brought life to my hair by adding a slight shine (not glossy but healthier). It looked less dry, more smooth and just seemed to have a bit more "life" in it. The results weren't mind-blowing but made me feel good that it is a product that could help me to obtaining my dream hair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was skeptical that a product you use pre-shampoo could make an impact on the strength and look of my hair, but the Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate Intensive Treatment really works! It is unlike any other product I have tried before in that works like an intensive conditioner within 5 short minutes. The product itself is quite rich and the scent is light but heavenly. A little bit goes a long way with my shoulder length hair so I think this bottle should last a decent amount of time but once I run out I would restock it. I highly recommend this product to others who want strong, soft, shiny, and healthy looking hair.

Helps my damaged hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is great for treating my hair on the road to recovery from damaged ends and hair in general from lightner. I leave a quarter sized dot and lather onto my ends first then up to my midlengths. It lathers on so smoothly and smells soooo good. Not too much of a strong smell. Then leave it in for 8 minutes as recommended. As I rinse it out, it leaves my ends so silky smooth like it’s been treated thoroughly with medication for the ends! I’ve been seen my hair get stronger with time through each use of this product. For reference I wash my hair 1-2 times a week. Love this product! Thanks for letting me try this!

Great for dry, damaged hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I color my hair monthly, and don't get my hair cut as often as I should, so I have split ends and dry hair. I was really excited to try this due to it helping repair hair and prevent color fade. I applied to damp hair and let it sit for 10 minutes before rinsing out. While rinsing, my hair already felt better and smoother. The fragrance is quite nice and not overpowering. I am sensitive to strong smells, but this one is perfect. After drying my hair, it felt much smoother and looked more shiny. The ends didn't feel as rough as they normally do. I'm really looking forward to seeing how my hair is after continuous use!

Smooths wonderfully and not too heavy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had just had my hair freshly colored when I received this sample, so the timing was perfect. The product is a nice weight and is easy to apply. It's a bit inconvenient that my hair needs to be wet first, but it's not a big deal to just put it on first thing when I get in the shower. After rinsing my hair already felt very soft, and it retained that even after shampooing and conditioning. I saw very little color loss even during that first wash. I have very fine hair so I am always worried about additional product weighing it down, but this just leaves your hair soft and smooth. I still had plenty of body and bounce.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this in a VoxBox for testing purchase by Influenster. It’s basically a hair mask that you use on damp hair then follow with shampoo and conditioner. It says it’s suitable for all hair types, but I have only tried it on my hair which is naturally straight with a little wave. I have thin Asian hair that has been bleached and dyed many times, so it’s pretty damaged. After using, I could still notice and feel the dry split ends of my hair, but overall it feels more hydrated. It doesn’t leave the hair feeling super silky like some other hair masks, but it did a decent job at helping to restore my hair slightly.

Glossy, soft, voluminous locks!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did not have any prior knowledge of Redken products before trying their acidic bonding concentrate intensive treatment. I received it in the mail over a week ago however it seems like I never had enough time to use it. Today was no exception however I decided to just go with it and process for five minutes versus the 5 to 10 minutes recommended on the bottle. I didn't have high hopes for great results. But to my surprise, my hair looks fantastic! It's super soft, super glossy and the volume is out of this world. It's almost like the product coats each strand. The scent is very mild and it doesn't lather but it really works! I will be a lifetime user of this product.

For someone who has very damaged, dry hair I was really excited to receive this complentery. I have been using Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate 1 time a week for about 2-3 weeks now and I can honestly say I can really see a change for the better. My hair has more life than it has in a very long time.
I apply this product on to damp hair and let it sit for 5-10 min and then rinse, wash, and condition my hair and then follow up with Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate Leave In Treatment. It smells amazing and leaves my hair feeling brand new. I'm so happy with this product.

Amazing first use results!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate Intensive Treatment for the first time last night, and I am blown away by the results. My hair is naturally wavy, and slightly thick, down to the middle of my back. I loved the smell of the treatment; it wasn't overpowering or perfume-y. I was a little put off by the texture, thinking that it wouldn't actually work, because it's not thick and creamy like a conditioner. I left the treatment on for 10 minutes, and then rinsed and washed and conditioned with my regular hair products. After brushing out and drying my hair, I am so pleased with how smooth and soft my hair is, along with the shine it has. This stuff is brilliant!

Did not work for me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately this Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate Intensive Treatment did not work for me. I have color treated hair, which has not been colored in a little over a year. I followed the instructions putting the treatment on my hair first before shampooing/conditioning, left it on for the 10 minutes, rinsed, then washed my hair as I would normally. It made my hair feel like straw, even after conditioning. I let my hair air dry and the only difference was the straw-like texture. Looking at others before & after pictures I was very hopeful, but unfortunately I did not get the same results. Maybe it's just my hair.

Good product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. After using it several times, I have some thoughts: It’s good. I feel like this is a product that you’d really benefit from using the entire line. Having only the concentrate and the leave in treatment, i didn’t get the full effect. That being said, my hair is heavily damaged and I did not expect miracles, but this did a nice job of softening my crunchy ends. The fragrance is nice…it’s familiar and nostalgic but I can’t pinpoint where I know it from. While this isn’t going to replace my holy grail hair repair products, I definitely think it’s worth the price point and a good alternative to pricier products.

I have been using it with the acidic bonding leave in treatment for a couple of weeks. My hair tends to be on the dry side with stray frizz. My hair is less frizzy and softer and in better condition. I love the scent, it’s hard to describe but it smells like a high end shampoo should. I definitely prefer it to my usual haircare items and would love to buy the whole line to get the full experience. I highly recommend this! Try it you won’t regret it!

Smells Terrible

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this product to try and many things concerned me about this product. It warns you that you need to wear sunscreen at all times after using this product. The directions were not clear on if this was a leave in conditioner or not, some things I found online said it was. Since my hair is color treated, I was very worried it would do something to my hair color since it said to protect yourself from the sun at all times. Since I can't put sunscreen on my hair I did not want to wear a hat at all times while using this product. Last was the smell, it does not have a pleasant scent at all it smells horrible.
