This is my all-time favorite shampoo! I know everyone has different desires for their hair texture, but for me, I want my hair to be silky soft, shiny, and smooth. And this shampoo, combined with the matching conditioner, delivers exactly what I want! If I have been using other shampoos to change up my routine, I can always see an immediate difference in the softness of my hair, even after just one wash! My only complaint about Redken overall as a brand is the scent. I wish it smelled better. Not that it smells bad, but it's not great either. This shampoo can be expensive so I have to wait for sales before I can buy it!

This is my first time using the All Soft line and I really like it! I don't know about the old formula, but this formula so far is working for me. I have long, fine and color treated hair. I live in a high humidity area where humidity is 80% and higher. I gave a rating of four stars because I've only started using this line or else I would rate it a five star. I purchased the All Soft shampoo and conditioner along with the extreme conditioner and oil. My hair after washing and conditioning is soft. I purchased this line because of my hair can be frizzy with our high humidity. So far, this line does not weigh my hair down like some of the other reviews states, so I am lucky!

I love this Shampoo! I use the Conditioner as well! My Hair is pretty thick and wavy, not very oily either. Just a little bit lathers up quite a bit and doesn't leave your feeling too stripped once rinsed. I usually wash my Hair every other day or so to keep it nice and healthy. Something that really sold me on this as a lifetime user was that I have seborrheic dermatitis (cradle cap) and once I started using this I haven't had a flare up or even itch believe it or not. It can be pricy but if you take advantage of the frequent sales at Ulta you can stock and only pay 15$ a piece for the big ones and it lasts a really long time. For two people mine usually lasts a few months.

Golden Bottle: All soft
The audience is wide, even if the scalp loves to get oily, it is completely acceptable, and it is still refreshing without washing the hair for two days. The key is that the hair is refreshing and the hair ends are plump and smooth.
After washing, the hair becomes soft and shiny. Besides, I think its scent is quite good. Very rare.
Big bottle, very cost-effective.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 3C/4A hair so I honestly wasn't expecting much out of this shampoo. I can honestly say I was pleasantly surprised. First, it lathers well and cleans thoroughly. I intentionally washed it on pretty dirty hair with lots of product build-up just to see how it would perform. My hair was also really day. It cleaned my hair well. I could already feel my curls softening just by using the shampoo. It was almost instant moisture. As far as the smell, it didn't wow me. It is a nice scent, but just normal in my opinion. The performance of the shampoo had me excited to try the conditioner. #voxbox

Leaves Hair Greasy!

I am disappointed in this shampoo and conditioner and I am stuck with another 1/2 liter to use up. It leaves my hair horribly greasy. I agree with all of the other reviewers that have commented about waxy, dirty hair at the roots and straw-like everywhere else. I have been careful to not apply the conditioner to my scalp thinking that was the problem. Nope! The shampoo alone leaves it just as bad. I am now resorting to Neutrogena Anti-residue shampoo to clean up the mess this product has made of my hair. As soon as I return to using the All Soft, the grease bomb reappears after only 1-2 uses.

I wanted to love the all soft line, because I generally love Redken products and haven’t had a bad experience, but the all soft line is just too much for my hair. It smells wonderful, and certainly is moisturizing, but when using this, my hair skips the soft phase and goes straight to greasy af. I’ve tried using smaller amounts, and I never use conditioner higher than the bottom 5 inches of my hair, but no matter what, my hair gets instant oily with this. If you have extremely thick hair, or extremely dry hair, you may actually like this, but my hair is fine, and no longer color treated.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Redken All Soft Mega has a texture more akin to an ointment than a typical cream conditioner since it is thicker and more humectant. It works effectively as a conditioning mask and travels readily through the hair. The "aloe + 7% nourish compound" in this product moisturizes and fortifies extremely dry, course hair. I started use this in June on the advice of my Ulta Salon stylist. My naturally curly hair was severely dry and damaged from over-coloring and regular heat styling in the months prior. I had previously used the original Redken All Soft with less than stellar results, but this conditioner lived up to its promises. It's the first hair conditioner I've ever used to make my coarse hair soft.

I have very thick, color treated, dry hair and this has been the best I have found for my hair, this shampoo and conditioner actually makes my hair like silk. I have never used anything so good. It starts working immediately. Keeps my hair moisturized without a heavy or greasy feel. A little of this goes a long way. It smooths my hair and makes it easier to style. I use the conditioner as well but only twice a week. I highly recommend this product

I've been seeing this shampoo for years when I go to cut my hair and I've always wanted it, but it was expensive so I didn't. With my new job I I decided I could afford it so I finally bought it and was so excited and it just ended up a huge disappointment. It makes my hair greasy and flat and actually sticky it's so gross. I have to use a clarifying shampoo every few days just so my hair doesn't look disgusting which has completely stripped the color and has dried it out. I would just throw it out if it hadn't been expensive. I also don't like the smell it reminds me of a car wash.

I have used this shampoo for years. The All Soft Shampoo and Conditioner are my holy grails. I have tried so many other Redken shampoos and other brands as well and I always come back to All Soft. I have long fine hair, but a lot of it. I have color treated hair. My hair used to be frizzy and thick and coarse and I believe after using this, it has changed my hair for the good. It's manageable, soft and lets me style my hair without weighing it down. It has acted like a slow gradual Keratin Treatment as a long-term effect, and softens after just one use! I shampoo twice and it cleans very well. No matter what shampoo I use, I still use a clarifying shampoo 2 times a month. Regardless, this is my favorite!

I’m an ICU nurse and have been washing my hair practically everyday I come home from work plus wearing it up or in a scrubs cap. Not to mention that my hair is colored. So my hair has seen some things for the past two years. First the scent it’s not overly scented. I have fine hair so a little goes a long way. My hair looks healthy and soft even after styling it. I’ve tried many hair shampoo and conditioners lately and this one ranks up into my top 5. Would recommend for someone that has long, thick, or color treated hair!

This is a very good conditioner and I would’ve given it 5 stars BUT it is a thick heavy conditioner and it seemed to make my hair feel oily. I liked the silkiness & smoothness it gave my hair, but I have oily hair anyways and have to shampoo my hair every other day or my hair will literally look like a grease pit, lol. I have talked to a few others that use this and they LOVE this! They also have dry hair. So there you have it. It does smell great. Not too pricey and if you’re one of those with rather dry hair, get it & try it out! You won’t be disappointed. I highly recommend!

I was excited to try the All Soft shampoo as I feel like my hair has been somewhat dry and dull lately and I was not disappointed. I could already tell a difference in the shower in how soft but clean my hair felt. I will be incorporating the All Soft shampoo into my hair chair routine alternating with the color extend.
The only downside for me is the price, however I will continue to use as I see such a difference in my hair with using better products.

I feel a noticeable softness in my hair after use. It smells like a salon shampoo which makes a pleasant shower experience and it comes with a really nice amount of product. The only reason why I am not giving a full 5 stars is because I think I’m still going to go back to my original shampoo when I’m done with this (briogeo). I might switch between the two sometimes though because I do really enjoy the experience of using this.

My hair is bleached from balayage and it did a great job making my hair softer and look more healthy after all the color. I recently went on vacation and the hotel water did not work well with my hair. Once I got home, I used the Redken All Soft and my hair feels soft and shiny again. I noticed my hair isn't dull after using this and I really like the smell. I definitely recommend this to anyone with damaged hair that needs extra moisture.
I love the half liter size because I only wash my hair 2-3 times a week. The size will last me a long time!

Been using this shampoo and conditioner for 9 months now. I have never had healthier hair. I have curly hair and it can get pretty tangly and damaged. I don’t have to worry about that anymore. Redken So Soft has changed everything. I started out using only every other wash because I wanted the product to last longer, I now use consistently every wash and I can’t express how amazing my hair feels and smells! Not to mention friends and family see a difference in my hair and want to know my secret. I get compliments everywhere I go about how long and shiny my hair is.

I LOVE this shampoo and conditioner duo. I used it in the past and loved it, but for some reasons I stopped. I recently have gone back to using it and it's as good as I remembered. This makes my hair so soft and so easy to manage. I don't straighten my hair, but when I do after using this - it straightens so easily. It's a little pricey but Ulta often has deals on the jumbo sizes of this and I always grab a couple. I have fine, long, blonde hair and was worried about this causing it to look flat, but it makes my hair lightweight and smooth. It's amazing. Give it a try!!

However my hair is also usually pretty dry and low porousity so I decided to try this to see if it left my hair feeling less like straw. I can genuinely say that it left my hair feeling very soft and clean. Would definitely buy this again. Weirdly my only complaint with this series of products is the white print on the gold bottle. I am blind in the shower without my glasses so reading directions on the bottle is hard with this product design decision,

I've never posted a review. However, I've never been disappointed with one of Redkens products. I started using their Amino Pon Shampoo when I was in high school in 1970. I've used the All Soft since it came out several years ago. I've just purchased another gallon. What a disappointment. What a mess in my hair. Waxy build up. Itchy scalp. Dull lifeless hair. My combs had to be cleaned with a Qtip and the product would stick between my fingers. My brushes had to be washed with dish soap and a scrub brush. The shampoo will not rinse from my hair with plain water. I've had to purchase a deep cleansing shampoo from another company to remove the
mess. Redken has always been my lifeline in beauty products. What are you doing?

This shampoo not only cleanses really well, removing stubborn dirt and product residue, but it also helps build volume at the root of my hair. The shampoo smells like a high end salon shampoo. This shampoo really softens the texture of my hair and smooths out my hair! My hair is typically quite frizzy when it strays to dry but with this shampoo, it’s stays so smooth and soft. This formula really reduces the amount of frizz I have. My hair is also quite damaged from hair dye and heat styling but this formula make my hair feel so smooth and touchable! It’s really impressive how it repairs damage. This is definitely a shampoo I’ll be purchasing in the future!

I started using this shampoo (and conditioner) after using another high end product that left my hair feeling dirty and dry. After the first wash with this Redken shampoo & conditioner, I could feel and see a difference in my hair. The shampoo has a honest scent, but it’s not overwhelming and won’t leave your hair with a strong honey odor. It doesn’t take a ton of shampoo to clean my hair, so even the small bottle will last me longer than drugstore shampoos. I definitely love this shampoo. I would highly recommend it if you want healthier and softer hair.

It's extremely soft, buttery, and velvety smooth!! I have long, medium-thick hair, and I only needed a small amount of the product I had to use. The final rinse was incredible. I was nervous at first about how thick this shampoo was and I thought it might be to heavy and weigh my hair down, but NO way!! This shampoo and conditioner are both thick as lotion but cleans SO good and does not weigh my hair down. It washes out wonderful and smells clean too. I like that the scent is light and clean too. My hair is thick and dry so this was a total A+ for me! I have twin daughters with thick hair too and we were fighting and hiding the bottles for the last wash :)

just purchased my Redken All Soft dhampoo and co ditioner. The first thing I noticed was the amazing smell. I have such long thick hair that I'm used to using a lot of shampoo. But a little goes a long way with this shampoo. I had to rinse for a long time because I used way too much. <br style="font-size: 12px; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">I am so impressed with this shampoo. My hair is very brittle and dry. It's super curly and gets frizzy very easily. After washing with this afew times, my hair feels amazing and soft. My ends look 10 times better and I've definitely noticed less breakage. <br style="font-size: 12px; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">I would recommend this to anyone with dry or damaged hair. It's amazing!

I really love this conditioner. It really does make your hair softer! I don’t buy it very often because I like something heavier, opting for the All Soft mask, but it’s still great if you just want and instant conditioner without taking extra time. The scent is a beautiful fresh, “natural” coconut smell. I would love to use the shampoo with this, to further enjoy the fragrance, but it still contains sulfates, which I find dries my hair and fades my color. Redken, please make a sulfate-free All Soft shampoo!!! Redken All Soft Argan Oil Shampoo

It has a delicate honey scent that doesn't linger, which is good because perfumes give me headaches. It also seems to clean decently, and is not too harsh on my damaged ends. The real bonus is the keratin complex that is probably why my hair feels so baby soft (seriously kids -- time I stress the softness. The first time I used this, I kept twirling my hair all day at work because it felt so wonderful). Silky smooth

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this product for a few weeks testing. I also went the length of testing it on different hair types.
This product is absolutely fantastic for medium to thick hair! Makes your hair feel like butter!
On the other hand, with thin hair it was a different story - it gave the same buttery effect but left zero body - it made the hair seem a lot thinner/finer than normal.
When using the shampoo, i definitely recommend lathering it in your hands for about 10-15 seconds to coat every strand evenly. With the conditioner it’s super thick which is great! But definitely make sure to wash it out with cold water to ensure you get the mega softness!
The size of the bottles are great! And the actual bottles are soft and easy to squeeze product out of!

I used this years ago upon getting it recommended by my hair stylist -- i was in a search for a shampoo/conditioner combo that would help my dry/brittle hair back when i used heat tools on my curls. Initially I really enjoyed it and felt like it made my hair softer. I discontinued my usage after a few bottles, i felt it made my hair limp and was not helping with split ends or breakage. At the time it wasn't an issue for me, but I do not love that it has sulfates in it and found when i switched to a sulfate free shampoo my hair felt healthier.

I notice that most of the positive reviews of All Soft shampoo and conditioner are for the OLD formula. The new formula has mostly negative reviews. They have ruined his fabulous shampoo! It makes my hair heavy and sticky, there's too much argan oil in it. The old formula made my hair silky and light. Someone said the old formula had avocado oil, whatever it was, please change it back! I won't be buying the new. It's so irritating when a company changes a formula that was working, I really don't understand it! Please listen to your customers!

everyone thought I got my hair done!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I knew I liked how my hair looked and felt after using this, but I had no idea other people would notice! I styled my hair the same way as usual, yet everyone, husband included, kept complimenting my hair.
it was lighter, bouncier and way softer than usual. I double washed, per usual, and boy did I get a sudsy lather on the second wash! it smells so great too; clean and fresh without being too perfume like. I have root tapped bayalage and this hasn't affected my color at all.
I've been loving this and would totally recommend it to anyone!

TOO SOFT! This product definitely does what it says on the tin, but too much so for my hair. I have really thick/frizzy/coarse hair so I am always looking for products to counteract this. I tried this as I received a travel size sample of the shampoo and the conditioner from FeelUnique.com. Cant disagree that it does what it says but I couldnt style my hair as it was so soft and static. I love RedKen as a brand and my daily shampoo is by them. I wouldnt repurchase this particular product because it doesnt work for me, smells great though!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Rarely do I see results the very first time I use a shampoo + conditioner, but this absolutely made my hair softer, smoother, silkier & shinier. I’m so impressed with it. My hair is naturally long, thick, frizzy & coarse, I frequently compare it to a horses mane because it’s just naturally rough. We went & got professional family pics taken a few days after using this & I kept looking like omg my hair looks so NICE! Redken is definitely going to be a staple in my hair routine from now on. It has a great salon quality scent to it as well!

Hate the new formula!

The old formula was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! I couldn't understand why the shampoo and condition was no longer giving me the same fabulous results till I realized that they changed the formula. I have no idea why they would do that but I no longer use their products. I've tried some of their other shampoos and conditioners but none of them even come close to the results from their old All Soft shampoo and condition! They had a superior product, I hope that they go back to their old formula and make their customers happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an ok shampoo but I don’t think it’s particularly moisturizing compared to other moisturizing products that I’ve tried. It has a nice scent from the argan oil and the packaging claims it has a “2% moisture complex” but I’m not sure what that means to be honest lol. I like that it comes in a half liter size because I like trying new products and I don’t typically use the larger liter sizes so this is a nice option. Overall, it didn’t really blow me away on the results so I don’t think I would end up purchasing this on my own.

Soft and Shiny!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Redken line. The all soft line is my go-to for dry thirsty hair without weighing down my hair. I have fine but densely packed hair. My scalp easily get greasy and weighed down and flat. I like that I can go longer without washing my hair with this and still have volume. I also like the smell a lot. I find myself sniffing my hair throughout the day and it still smells fresh. The Argan also add shine to my hair and smooths flyaways. This is especially nice in the winter when my hair gets static-y. Overall a great set!

A stylist, at Ulta, helped me with my problem hair. It is unique because most companies don't focus on us older people with gray or salt and pepper hair and our problems. I had frizzy, uncontrollable, coarse, wiry, dull, and very thick hair. I used this at her recommendation and was amazed at what it did for my hair. I had the hair I was hoping for. I would like less hair, but at least it is silky and shiny for the first time in years. I am a loyal user of this and the conditioner and the mask. They all do wonders for my hair.
