Awesome light weight quick dry blow dry spray!

This spray smells amazing and keeps my hair feeling moisturized! This doesn't weigh your hair down or feel like you have any product in it. I did not use in your typical manner of a straightening blow out but instead used the product per directions and only gave 3 to 5 minutes of heat to activate the product works great, adds shine,smells great, helps with dry time, and great packaging! I also used on dry hair(very lightly)next day where my hair needed help and totally worked, the fragrance is so satisfying. Try this one out if you blow dry awesome product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so pleasantly surprised by this product. I've never had a quick dry blowout product ever make a difference until now! I have very thick and frizzy hair that loves to hold onto moisture when wet. It takes a very long time to dry normally. With this blowout spray, my hair dried in about half the time. It still took half an hour (I have A LOT of hair), but that is a big improvement from normal. Typically, air drying takes about half a day and I almost never blow dry wet hair (it's usually several hours later). Today, I went for it and I do not regret it. Though i'm not surprised- Redken never disappoints. This far exceeded my expectations!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Redkin Quick Blow Out really does speed up the drying process, and as bonus, it smells like fall. The spray is super light weight, not greasy at all, doesn't leave any yucky residue, and my hair feels silky soft after using it. It helps me dry faster and it smells almost like pumpkin with a light spice. My husband has walked by and asked me what smells so good while I was drying my hair. The scent is not overpowering, and hair retains style the following day (unlike some other quick blowout or protective sprays that seem to weigh hair down, make it oily, or make it limp). Overall, I am really impressed with this and will purchase again when I run out!

Great Heat Protection

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone who wears their hair naturally curly 75% of the time it’s very important to me that I protect my hair when I do a blow out so that I don’t get heat damage and ruin my curls. After trying this product I can say that it did indeed protect my hair from heat damage and also gave my hair a nice shine and it feel soft and conditioned. I also like the scent of the product and that it wasn’t very strong. As far as hair drying time I have very thick hair and I didn’t notice a big difference in the amount of time it took me to dry my hair after using this product versus my normal drying time. Overall I liked the product and would recommend it to others.

I also live in Florida and have to deal with humidity daily and this product has been a huge blessing!! I used the product as described and then blow dried my hair (it dried so much quicker than usual ) & it was perfectly straight just from blowing it dry, there was no need to use my flat iron! I was shocked! It also held up to the Florida humidity as my hair was as smooth as I left for work when I came home! I can’t ever run out of this product! A little bit goes a long ways and it is very much worth the price tag! I highly recommend!

After a summer outdoors in the sea and out in the sun (even with SPF) this is exactly what I needed to fall into autumn with beautifully styled hair. This combo eliminates frizz, smoothes & protects my hair while blow drying or using hot tools. Really cut down on dry time!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks Redken for the free bottle of Quick Blowout! I blow dry my hair every few days, so I'm always looking to cut down on the time it takes. For starters, I really enjoyed the scent of this product, it smells high-end and pleasant. I follow the instructions on the bottle to shake well and spray onto towel-dried hair. I brush it through to disburse well (I have longer hair) and use my trusty old hairdryer. I was surprised that it really did cut down on overall dry time while also working as my heat protectant. It cut down on the amount of flyaways and left an overall smoother style. Overall very impressed with the product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, this packaging is A+, love it. The smell of the product is AMAZING. I did try this product a couple ways. I applied to damp hair and let it air dry naturally- it did not dry quicker than when not using the product, but it made my wavy hair look awesome. I also applied and blow dried my hair and it cut down the dry time significantly, but…it did not help the poof or frizz of my hair, at all. It also made my hair feel a little sticky and stiff. I did not notice any difference in my hair with the product vs without once I straightened it. Will I finish this product? Yes. Will I buy this product once it’s empty? No.

We can all appreciate a nice scented hair product! Quick Blowout has dreamy notes of citrus, floral and softwoods. I love a good scent!
More importantly, this product does what it says! The Quick Blowout is a lightweight, flash-drying spray that doesn’t have a tackiness or stiffness left in your hair like other volumizing products I’ve used before. It also protects hair from heat damage and is packed with rich oils to control frizz and condition every strand. I think this product works very well and I’ll definitely buy another bottle.

And it only took half the time to dry and thats a plus as well because my hair is thick and goes all the way down my back. also my hair smells amazing as well after using it! I used to use redken shampoo and conditioner a long time ago and now I need to add it back to my routine because I forgot how much I love their products! so excited i was a able to try this in my hair care routine and will continue to use!

This is a great product! I blow dried my hair after spraying this on and my hair looked and felt healthy, soft and shiny. It smells like toasted coconut but the smell doesn’t linger. I have fine, wavy hair and this did not weigh my hair down or make it greasy and I was able to shampoo per my usual schedule. I am not the biggest fan of the spray format because I can’t seem to understand if product application was uniform. The sprayer also gets stuck after every 2-3 sprays. The packaging is loud and tacky. Overall highly recommend the product!

Leaves hair soft and smelling great

The first thing I noticed when using it was the great scent. I don't know that it reduced my drying time but it certainly didn't make it any longer. My hair felt soft and had a healthy (not greasy) shine after drying. I have been trying not to use as much heat on my hair as it is fine and tends to break/split easily with frequent use of heat styling tools, but I feel like this spray does a good job at protecting it from heat damage and making it look and feel great after styling.

The product itself smells amazing and leaves your hair smelling amazing throughout the day. It smells soft and sweet, like vanilla. It’s a wonderful heat protectant that makes me feel better about using heat on my hair. While my hair is already straight, this leaves my hair shiny and slick. It almost tames fly aways. I used this product with my Revlon one step. It’s such a great combination. I think this will become my new go to heat protectant. I’ve also tried it with my straightening iron and it worked great with that as well. Highly highly recommend this to anyone needing a heat protectant.

The quick blowout has a fruity scent and conditions your hair while also protecting it against your heat tools. It actually helped with dry time and I was able to cut my hair dry time to 5 minutes instead of 10 minutes. so in half the time I got myself a quick hair blow dry. The big blow up gives my asian fine hair volume at the crown. It's a jelly consistency and you put it on while your hair is damp. It is also a heat protectant. It is also a fruity scent as you dry your hair. It pairs well with the quick blowout from Redken.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm still not entirely sure how I got this box because I don't blow dry my hair, but I did for this box. First off this product worked great! It kept my hair silky smooth and my dry time was quicker. I noticed immediately after spraying it there was a STRONG scent of vanilla. Now if you don't like that scent don't even waste your money because not only did it come out that strong it stayed in my hair for several days. I know that sounds gross, but I have colored hair and wash about every 2-3 days. I didn't mind the scent and after a day or 2 the scent wasn't as strong. Overall I was happy with this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this stuff! The spray made it easy to cover each section of my hair without needing to rub it in and wonder if I missed anywhere. A lot of heat protectant sprays are really oily so I have to be sparing in order to keep my hair looking and feeling clean, but I sprayed liberally with no buildup. the next day my hair didn't feel dirty or greasy. The scent is light and fresh lingered just a little in my hair.
I don't usually blowdry my hair- it's naturally wavy and frizzy, but when I brush it or blow dry it it gets poofy and I don't usually have the patience to blow dry it and then straighten it to get rid of the poof. This seemed to make it blowdry both faster and smoother!

I do wish it had more instructions on the bottle, because I was confused about whether or not I should use this product only, or if I should use it with my usual styling products. I opted to use it alone to get the full effect. My hair dried faster with the blow-dryer. It has a pleasant, clean scent that is subtle. It seemed to give my hair a bit of “lift” and it was soft and shiny all day, like the flowing mane of a chestnut mare. I don’t usually blow dry my hair, but I will use this when I do. I’ll also try it with my regular styling products in the future.

My hair is straight and fine and I do have an amazing blow dryer, but the drying time was shorter, making it an effective primer spray to shorten drying time. It does leave a hint of shine, but nothing major, but it contributes to achieving shiny hair. The scent is nice for fall/winter, it wear out after a while but your hair will smell nice. After use, hair texture is smooth. No sticky hair with this primer. Hair looks like it is conditioned, but I have very healthy hair as it is. I recommend this product for anyone who blowdries their hair twice a week or more.

It smells good but I do prefer more of a simple clean scent. This was a little strong for my liking. It absolutely helps the hair dry faster however, for me, I have highlighted hair and while I was able to wait an extra day to wash my hair, my ends felt extremely dry. I tend to have oily roots and dry ends. My second time around I used this only around the crown of my head and I liked the results much better. Overall, I probably wouldn’t buy it again but I will finish out the bottle I have.

I like that the spray comes out like a fine mist so it doesn’t soak my hair. That said, it took me a few tries to figure out how to use this product to keep it from weighing my hair down but in the end I finally got it. I can’t spray it on my roots. I have to focus the spray mid shaft to ends and I can’t use too much or it gets almost sticky when I finish blowing my hair out. Once I got that figured out I was able to see the results better. My hair did dry a little quicker which was nice but the learning curve was annoying.

All I do in the mornings is spray my whole hair with this wonderful product and it leaves my wavy hair looking so soft and smooth. The “big blowout” cream is wonderful as well. It’s perfect for blow drying your hair and then styling with a curling wand. After curling, I’ll take a brush and brush out the curls and using this jelly gives my hair so much bounce and shine. I’ve gotten so many compliments on how healthy my hair looks!!

Its good but not quite

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried this and the balm and found they work nicely to smooth your frizz and fly always but this particularly does not live up to the claims that it lessens dry time. I treated one side of my hair with this and the other with nothing, and while it did smooth my hair and make it look shinier, it took just as long (5 mins 20 sec to be exact) to dry the treated side as it did the non treated side. The treated side had a little less hair due to my part so it typically takes slightly less time to dry but with the product it took just the same. For that I’m docking a star. It smells nice and works otherwise but would I reach for it, probably not. The balm in my opinion is slightly better.

According to the brand, their quick blowout spray is a “lightweight blow dry spray primer spray that conditions hair while protecting from heat tools”. It smooths hair, adds shine, nourishes & conditions, protects from heat up to 450 degrees, and the scent is a blend of citrus, floral, and soft wood scents. I have long hair, it’s fine, it’s color treated. Usually, my hair is limp on day 2. Not only did this spray help speed up my blow drying time but it added volume and it really did make it shinier, smoother, softer. AND the scent is divine. The spray is great, it’s a great mister.

Compared to others that I have used, this heat protectant spray really did leave my hair feeling lightweight and smells amazing! I feel like the mist was distributed pretty evenly, even before brushing it through which saves product in the long run. It addition to it being evenly distributed throughout, it didn't leave a "filmy" trace behind once my hair was completely dried. This is definitely on my repurchase list!

And third I love that is a heat primer. My hair is thin and straight and I really appreciate when a hair styling product is lightweight but still effective. The mist on this spray bottle is ideal. Add a few quick sprays to your damp hair, don’t forget to shake it, and your hair will be protected from those harsh heat tools. I also noticed a slight shine and smoothness to my hair after blow drying. Thank you Redken. This is my new favorite heat protecting primer.

However, my favorite thing about is that I can use it from root to end without it making my hair greasy!! I've had such an issue with other heat protectants and not being able to use it at my root because it causes my hair to be a grease pot! Not with this! My hair is shiny but not dirty-looking which is the best! The only negative to this is the price point but a little goes a long way so I can look past the price and I will be purchasing this again and again!

I got a chance to try this thanks to #Bzzagent and it offers quite a few things all rolled into one product. In addition to heat protection and speeding up dry time - it also seems to help keep my frizz to a minimum! I love that I don't need a bunch of desperate products. It smells great - slightly floral with earthy/herbal undertone which wears well throughout the day. Pleasant smelling without being too overpowering. My hair looks sleek all day and the next day too.

I have really long hair, all the way over my butt and it could be a pain when trying to get it all dry, especially when it’s late in the evening which I often find myself cheating by leaving it partially dry. But this product is just wow! It cut the drying time in half. It was just effortless to get my long hair fully dry. Not only that, there’s no flakes or residues of any sort.

I like this spray for use for curling irons, for ironing and just under a hair dryer. I spray on my hair, but don't overdo it. Because, firstly, the spray can grease the hair, and secondly, the spray does not have a large degree of fixation, it does not stick together, but slightly fixes the hair, it becomes more voluminous and heavier. Not as light and natural as usual. As a result, I get elastic fixation of my hair, as well as shine and pleasant aroma. In general, I like to use it. It is difficult to determine if it protects against high temperatures, but I would like to hope so.

I am a Cosmetologist of 15 years? (2009). I’ve been reading all of these reviews and I feel like a lot of these people have not purchased their products from a reputable seller; maybe grocery or department store. I’ve been using this product for about a year and there 100% is a difference of when I use this and when I do not. Dry time is always shortened by a few minutes. On top of that it feels oil based so it leaves the hair soft with a bit of shine. If all of that hasn’t sold you, then let’s not forget about the amazing smell; if I could wear it as a perfume I would.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. I've used heat protectant for 20 years on my fine, but thick, wavy hair. This one is one of the better ones I've used. I do feel like it speeds up the drying process and it leaves my hair shiny, smooth, and smelling amazing. I've done a full, smooth blowout with it and it lasted for three days, staying shiny and soft. I've also used it to blow dry my natural curls/waves and I think I liked it even better! Cut drying time down by several minutes and left my hair shiny and I think it even helped tame frizz. Many heat sprays I've used leaves hair greasy or shortens my time between washes, but not this one. I'm going to buy another when this one is gone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed using this product. The smell is absolutely incredible. Redken Quick Blowout really does cut down the time it takes to dry your hair. I am very grateful, because it takes forever to dry my hair normally. I love how my hair looked after using this product and drying. My hair was left soft, shiny, and smooth. It really helps cut down on the frizz. I also appreciate that the product is lightweight, and does not leave my hair weighed down. The tricky part is determining how much you need to use for your hair type. If you use too little or too much, results can vary a little bit. I think it takes a few tries to perfect using this product. Overall, I was very satisfied & will continue using in the future.

This Spray Is Just What I Needed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have recently been using Redken Quick Blowout Heat Protectant Spray and absolutely love it! I wish I had found this product long ago because my hair is very thick, long and coarse which takes a very long time to blowdry - but with this spray, my hair dries in a fraction of the time! Not only does it protect my hair from the heat of my blow dryer and other heat styling tools, but it also nourishes, adds shine and makes my hair more smooth. I also love that it is made with clean ingredients and uses sustainable packaging. I would definitely recommend this product!

Bathroom staple!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't know I was missing this product from my daily hair routine until I tried it.... now it's a bathroom staple! My hair typically takes an hour to dry on its own, and about 20 minutes with a hairdryer. We all know it can get hot in a crowded bathroom after 20 minutes of blow drying, and this product has eliminated that problem!! It takes 5-10 minutes for my hair to dry and its sooo silky smooth (NOT oily!) when it's done!!! I was extremely impressed with this one, I even let my hairdresser know about it to add to help get her client's finished in a breeze. A++
