I use outshine 01 for years but hate the black container enough to discontinue and look for another company product. The clear plastic was cheerful and I knew how much was left. The black website is not good either. How do you read dark color letter on black background, like when there are suggestions where to buy the product now. Why do cosmetic companies waste money on useless changes.... I still have one of the old containers and will keep it as a memory of an old good past.
For those who never tried it before and never used clear see through container, I highly recommend. It is a white light emulsion and works well on regular hair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] WOW!, I didn't know that I needed this product. I got to try Redken oil for all, and it has made my hair much smoother and less frizzy. I don't even have to use conditioner anymore, but if I do, wow super soft hair. I have super thick hair, and it actually does cut hair drying time in half. It helps keep my hair from "fluffing" up after/while drying my hair. This is a must have for amazing, soft, frizz free, and strong hair. While I recieved this product for free to review, if It didn't work I would have no problem leaving a bad review, and have done so many times. Thank you Buzz agent for giving me the opportunity to try Redken oil for all.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn't sure what to expect when I received the Redken Oil for All as a test product for BzzAgent. I have tried a variety of hair oils in the past and 99% of them left my hair looking greasy and overly oily with even the smallest bit of serum in my hair. This however worked WONDERS. Not only did it leave my hair feeling silky soft (no exaggeration), the smell is incredible. I would truly buy the scent as an everyday perfume.
I used this product after straightening to get rid of any frizz and fly-aways, as well as right out of the shower. I rate this product 10/10 and have already recommended it to family and my cosmetologist friends.

Although Outshine is extremely effective when applied to wet hair after shampooing, I would like to share the extraordinary benefit of applying it when your hair is dry. For example, after removing hot curlers, rub a small amount to your hands like hand lotion, and lightly run through your hair. Not only will your curls be more defined and static free, but they will last all day without frizz. Also, because Outshine is very lightweight, your curls will not be weighed down. Definitely the one product that I cannot be without. It also comes in a travel tube, which I keep in my purse for touch ups during the day. Terrific product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have naturally curly, coarse, thick hair. So my hair is frizzy and parched. This Redken Oil For All is exactly what I need. Sometimes I straighten my hair with a extremely hot hair iron. I'll have it straight as a board but have all these little fly always sticking out everywhere. The Oil for All takes care of them with ease. On humid days which is most days here in Florida I wear it curly and this Oil for All helps hydrate and define each of my ringers. You can apply it to your damp hair after a shower for all over shine and hydrate or use it on your completely, freshly straightened hair to lay down those pesky fly always or to just give it a beautiful shine.

I would also like to know why you discontinued a product that was ALWAYS sold out. I also would purchase several bottles at a time because this has been the ONLY product that would work on my coarse, frizzy, curly hair without weighing it down. I have tried other products in the past but ultimately stuck with Redken Glass for the last 5 years and I am very upset that it has been discontinued. I would really like to know why and if there is a possibility of a new Redken Glass going on the market. This outshine product is NOT the same thing and does not work the same way as Redken Glass. Please email me a response!

For years I have been using Redken Glass and was very disappointed that you discontinued this product. I have tried so many products even what you are recommending Outshine but this is not Glass and does not work with thick frizzy course hair. I have been trying to find a replacement but to no avail. I would like to know why you discontinued this product when it is always sold out in almost every shop and hair salons around the world. I know it was an expensive product to purchase but it did its job. I use to purchase 6 - 10 bottles at a time. I am now down to my last bottle. I am desperate to find a product the same. Please tell me why you discontinued this product and would you consider bringing it back.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Redken Oil For All gives results as promised! The Oil has an amazing smell that is fresh and natural. The container is a good size to hold in your hand and the pump dispenses the oil easily and at the appropriate amount. I found the oil easy to apply to the hair. It gave my hair a sheen with the added benefit of taming static electricity. I have stopped coloring my hair since the Pandemic and the Oil For All gave my grey-white hair the shine it needed to look super healthy.
I would give a precaution about using too much oil in one application. One pump of the product was perfect for added sheen. More than one pump made my hair look dirty and stands of hair separated.
I would highly recommend this product!

I have to agree with the others. Nothing compares to Glass. I also don't understand why you would discontinue a product that works so well. I've spent time and effort now trying to find other serums by competitors that are close to Glass. Although so far, I haven't really been able to duplicate it. It was great in humidity (I'm in Fl) and I loved it so much, I bought in multiple quantities wherever and whenever I could find it. The milk is okay, but it's nothing in comparison to Glass. I beg you to bring it back on the market. For me and countless others who deal with frizzy hair every day. Sometimes what seems advantageous in the boardroom doesn't translate to real people. It isn't always just about the numbers.

I have been a REDKIN GLASS 01 customer for 20 + years and bought 2 - 3 bottles of this wonderful shine product as it works every-time for my course unmanageable hair. The last bottles I bought were the last ones because I was told it was being discontinued. What are is management thinking of ? New and Improved does Not always work, just as the Coca-Cola company when they tried to modify their coke product and had to change it back with a new label. Hear the customers REDKEN management do NOT change a good product and meet the public's demand for the original glass 01.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked this a lot because it leaves my curls super soft and shiny! It helps a little with frizz..not as much as I'd like it too but that's okay. It smells decent-not bad or really good. I used it both on dry and damp hair and got better results using it on damp hair. I usually air dry but I'm really curious how it'll make my hair look once I attempt a blow out with it so I'm excited for that. I feel like it's definitely a great product after straightening your hair and curling it too. It just gives you that nice, last touch. The little pink bottle is adorable too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It really adds shine to my hair. It is really important you spread it evenly because a little goes a long way. I have very long, curly 2B/3A hair and it helps control frizz. I apply it to my damp hair and I see a significant difference in the frizz, but not 100% of course. As for the scent, it was quite strong initially, but after application it diffused and was tolerable. The scent smells good, a lot better after it dies down a little. Otherwise, I recommend this product. I will surely try it with heat and flat iron. I am confident it will add shine to my hair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very light oil. It does not weigh my hair down when I put it in. I stopped using conditioner because I just didn't need it any more. It works better than the conditioner does. I used it while my hair was wet. I turned my head over and touched the ends and squeezed, then I ran my hands through my ends to spread the oil. What was left on my hands rubbed into my skin and made my hands smooth. There was no oily mess or residue after drying my hair, just softness. If I needed a touch up during the day for flyaway or staticky hair, one pump was all I needed rubbed into my palms and then into my hair. I rubbed the rest into my hands. I am impressed with Redken's Oil for All. It compares well to higher end brands like Bumble & Bumble.

When will Glass be back!?!? Seems to me there is a ton of demand for it. Redken should step up and listen to their customers. I personally have used Glass for at least 20 years. I'm near the end of my last bottle and am extremely disappointed Redken has not brought this back yet. Yes, I've tried the Outshine product and it does NOT even compare to Glass! Not even close! I have fine hair and Glass has been a great product to detangle wet hair and help tame frizzes and add shine WITHOUT weighing my fine hair down or making it feel greasy. I don't care for the Outshine product... so what product can you recommend to me to use in replacement of Glass?? Is there one?? Or, why not just bring a GREAT product back. Bring back Glass!! I first used it while wearing my hair naturally in a wash and go style. The oil added much needed sheen to my dull hair and helped keep it soft looking and feeling throughout the day. I then tried it on my hair before blow drying. It has worked wonders on helping keep the frizz down without weighing my hair down. My hair is so soft and looks healthier than it is. I love a product that's versatile enough to use as a leave in, detangler, oil, shine booster, moisturizer, and a scent touch up. This definitely ticks all those boxes. I'm not a fan of the scent though (-1/2 star). It's a fantastic detangler and it works great on wet and dry hair. The only problem I had is that it made my hair a little greasy (-1). On the plus side, it washes out easily and doesn't feel sticky like other hair oils. A little goes a long way.

Love Love love this stuff. My hair tends to get a little bit frizzy sometimes and when it does, this is the stuff I teach for and buy. It tames my frizz. It smells great. It doesn't weigh down my hair. It keeps my hair smooth and not frizzy. To me the price is worth it. Other products then to weigh down my hair and make it look and feel greasy, but not this. This stuff does what it says and doesn't have do any of the things I hate in a product. Perfect frizz solution for silky smooth hair.

I love this product for any hair type . It works great in my fine buy full head of hair . It helps tremendously in the Summer with smoothness and frizz . We all know the frizz battle all too well . This is the one product that I've used for 12+ years in its cream or serum form. I keep going back because Redken honestly gives me the best results for the price point too. It leaves no residue or stickiness and leaves hair shiny and manageable after a blow out.

I really love how this leaves my hair silky smooth and frizz free, even taming the craziest of flyaways. It is honestly one of the only products that is capable of truly taming my crazy frizz. It does have a scent to it that lasts for quite a while. I'm not a huge fan of the scent, but it isn't bad by any means. I love how light weight it is and that it doesn't leave my hair super greasy. Great great product for this of us with way too much frizz.

I've only used this/had this used on me in the salon (which always leaves your hair looking better than you can ever do yourself) BUT I love how I'm combination with its sister products leaves your hair looking sleek, healthy and flawless. My hair is shiny, smooth, and noticeably different. Most redken products are on the higher end however based on results it's definitely worth a try! At least ask your stylist to give it a try!

My hairstylist just used this on me today, it was my first time encountering the product and I love it! I have fine, wavy hair and I constantly get frizz, especially when humidity is high. This product erased the frizz and left my hair smooth and soft, the texture of my hair is simply amazing. I don't often buy professional products but as soon as I walked out of the salon I looked up this product to buy some for eberyday use.
I never used Glass but I think it's unfair to give this product a bad review because it's not the same as a discontinued product. I don't understand why reviewers are giving bad reviews and only commenting that "it's not the same" as something else. People should review a product for whether or not it works and helps them achieve the desired effect. This product worked for me and does exactly what the description says, so I'm a big fan.

This is without a doubt the best hair styling product I have ever used. Not sure why everyone is comparing it to a totally different product and only giving it one star. After using it, you look like you just walked out of a salon with a professional blow out. Super smooth, not heavy or weighed down whatsoever. Takes me hair from blah to YEAH in seconds! Only need a pea size amount too. A bottle lasts me a year at least.

I can wash my hair add the Redken and let it air dry and the shine is great especially since my hair drinks oil ..I can even use it and blow dry my hair and straighten it and that sheen and softness is still there...and it's not heavy and the smell is great ...so definitely recommend it...get you some lol...

This is a product I received in a kit on a beauty trade along with other Redken products. I used it originally along with the shampoo & other things in the kit. I've used it with other brands as well though also. It's ok, I think in order for it to be worth the money it would need to stand up better in humidity. I found a product I like better so I won't get this again. I have thin, straight, fine hair.

I have been using Glass forever. Almost 20 years. It is the best shine and anti frizz product ever made. I don't like the new product with oil. It does NOT work the same way and make hair look greasy. Please consider bringing back the Glass. Do you gave any over stock of Glass I can purchase? I bought up what I could find last year and now I'm out. My hair is NOT the same without using Glass.

It left my hair with a nice shine and it was easier to manage and style. Right away I could see a difference in the dry time of my hair. The one thing that I did not like was that the fragrance was too strong and lingered. Also even though the oil worked nicely it did weigh my hair down some.

The polishing milk is a great product. My hair has a natural frizz to it s so I use the milk when it's wet and then when I blow dry my hair it's almost instantly smooth. My hair color is strawberry blond with more red than blond and it's pretty thick. I have to use products to help get it straight. The polishing milk makes my hair so smooth and soft. It even adds some shine to it.

He has curly hair and it defined his curls awesomely. He was pleased with the scent. It was pretty greasy but worked very well when you only used a very small amount. It took a minute to get use to how much you actually needed. Over all it is a good product.

Disappointing hair oil

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to test this product since I am very familiar with the brand & enjoyed using it. However, I was disappointed with the product. The scent is so strong & masculine - would prefer something more subtle like a fruit or floral scent. The hair oil was not as effective - felt like I need to pile on alot of product to achieve some kind of result & left my hair greasy.
No, I do not recommend this product.

I'VE BEEN USING OUTSHINE 01 FOR AT LEAST 10 YEARS AND IT IS MY FAVORITE HAIR PRODUCT. PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT DISCONTINUE IT.
I TOOK IT ON A 18 DAY TRIP TO ITALY AND IT WAS SO WONDERFUL TO HAVE
A PRODUCT THAT MADE MY CURLY HAIR TAME DOWN AND LOOK GREAT!

This is a good option if your hair is greasy. If it's too thin try to use only a dab and per sections. But all in all, I like to use this one when I get a ponytail, for some reason when I've tried it after blow drying my hair I find it a bit too heavy. But my hair is too thin anyway. I would recommend, keep in mind is a bit pricey --if you're used to grocery store prices.
