Oil For All

This hair oil is a game changer for my wavy and unruly hair! After blow drying and straightening it leaves my hair smooth and manageable for several days. I can no longer find it! Please bring this great hair product back!

I tried this product as a recommended replacement for Outshine01 polishing milk. I am SO disappointed. Outshine01 was a cream that made my hair look and feel fabulous. This product is a spray that just does not (for me) do the job. The spray feels wasteful, even when I apply it to my hand first as shown in the video, and my hair looks and feels greasy no matter how little I apply. I do NOT care for the scent. This is the fourth replacement product I've tried and have not been really happy with any of them. I am a long time customer (been using Redken products since I was in my 20"s) and I always recommended them to my family and friends. This is the first time a reformulation of your products has seemed (for me anyway) to fail completely.

Please bring this back - it’s hands down the best hair oil I have ever used.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to say that with the level of product that I am used to Redken producing, this fell short of my expectations. I tried the Shine Flash on freshly washed and dried hair, on dry shampoo treated hair and on unwashed and untreated hair and my hair never seemed any shinier. The scent was barely tolerable as well. I was expecting maybe a slight floral scent, but this stuff just smells like chemicals. In the attached photos my hair is freshly washed and dried, the right side of my hair is treated with Shine Flash and left side is untreated.

The packaging/labeling was attractive, the bottle size easy to handle while styling and the nozzle did not clog during or after applying. Shine Flash has a pleasant yet subtle scent that I'd describe as slightly fruity. The spray felt light once it was on, provided a very nice luster to my hair and a hold that lasts all day long even in Florida humidity. I recommend giving Flash Shine a try. Get your shine on!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can see how people with very dull hair could benefit from Redken Shine Flash, but it seemed like no matter how much or little of the product I used it just made my hair look greasy instead of a healthy shine look. I tried combing it through after spraying and it didn't help it look any less greasy. It does smell really good and citrusy and tamed some flyaways I had. I would recommend this product to those who really lack any shine, but it gave me too much shine for my liking/hair type.

My hair looks and feels healthier because it is noticeably shinier (before using this spray my hair looked dull and dried out). The spray provides a soft hold to any hairstyle, yet holds well, but can brush through it... beautiful shine and doesn't look or feel greasy. I'm now on my second spray can! I find that it works best with my wavy to curly hair, however, for fine straight hair it adds a little volume, as my daughter tried it too and her hair is straight. It also has an amazing scent that is not overbearing at all. Great for fly aways as well! Highly recommend!

I had been searching for more non-greasy hair shine for my hair; which I thought I wouldn't be able to find. This product is way better than my usual hair spray I normally would use. I love the scent and the light gloss it gave to my hair making it look naturally shiny. I would say one of the biggest benefits about this product is the light weight shine it has to hair without it feeling so greasy and tacky feeling that some hair polish tend to make my hair feel. I was so pleased receiving this product that I called my sister to show her the difference between my normal oil sheen vs Redken Shine Flash on my hair. Its really a great product other products ive trued for shine where greasy or heavy so it took away the volume that i definitely need due ti thin , fine hair. Gave me shine just enough to do the trick but still look natural, didnt way my curls down isnt sticky and smells great.An amazing way to get that glossy shine you need, i totally recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually do not like expensive hair products, but when I tried this I was a bit shocked. For shine, I usually prefer to use hair oils or mists. This product adds shine instantaneously, unlike oils in which you have to wait a few days to see results. The only flaw I spotted was that this product contains Alchohol, which dries hair after long-term application to the hair. In summary, I would use this product, but only a few times a week. Would definitely purchase again.

This size of the product is just right compared to other styling products. My hair is normally dry, frizzy and wavy, but I noticed an instant smooth feeling as I ran my fingers through my hair after using this product. I had very healthy hair. I wanted some more shine to my hair so I purchased the oil for all. After a month of use on my hair and my twins hair our hair started falling out in clumps. Not single strands which I know is normal but meaning run your fingers through the hair and you would get a hand full of hair come out without pulling hard on it I would not recommend this product for anyone. I do like the smell of the product but that’s it

I have purchased different products in the past that help to create a shine like look. I found that Redken's Shine Flash was quick and easy to use. It was not heavy on my hair and still gave me an amazing look. The shine coats your hair but doesn't appear oily. I would definitely purchase this in the future and recommend it to others.

Before I even used it I sprayed it for smell if I have liked it I wouldn't have used it and rated it low. The smell is pleasant. The hold was great and the shine it added to my hair was beautiful. I was afraid it was going to look unnatural on my c kinky could hair but it didn't it was lovely.

I don't see a sense in wasting money on a product that doesn't smell nice or add anything to my hair as benefit. The smell is the second thing, why doesn't it at least smell good? It's just chemically aerosol smell.

Its light and it actually holds. Most hairsprays will change my blonde hair to a darker color when applied but Redken did not do that and it also made my hair look healthy. It has immediate effects on dry hair and can be layered for ultimate shine. I usually wash and go so not being able to use it on wet hair meant I couldn't use it with my morning routine. I am so upset and disappointed Outshine has been discontinued. I’ve used this product for YEARS. I’m so sad and can not believe Redken made this choice. I know so many people upset over this. This product is not even remotely close to Outshine. I really hope they bring it back, none of their other products remotely compares!

I've started using Redken and I can't stop using it everyday. It's part now of my daily hair routine. It makes my hair shiny without that unwanted greasy feeling. But I always have gel in my hair in order to add control and when I'd end my styling with Shine Flash, it seemed to diminish the control of the gel and I ended up with fly-aways! It smells incredible and a little goes a long way. Instead of making my hair look oily like other shine sprays, this leaves my hair feeling naturally soft.
