Having a background working in a salon for years, Redken is a brand that I know well and trust. I was super impressed with this mask. It's very easy to use, and a small amount of product goes such a long way. Having curly hair I worry when introducing new products, that my curls might not like it. I was pleasantly surprised that it worked really well with my curls. Typically I can go 3 days without washing, 4 if I really push it. This mask controlled my frizz for the entire 4 days!! It's a huge bonus that locks kept the amazing smell of the product the whole time!!

Extra boost of conditioner which I love.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I started using this Redken Frizz Dismiss Mask from the day I received the full sized sample. It really helped my hair after a few days of use. My hair was really dry and frizzy from coloring and blow drying it. I thought the scent was as nice as the shampoo and conditioner, it truly works. I wasn't aware of the Mask for hair before I recieved my sample. Usually I just always used shampoo and conditioner, and now there is the extra conditioning with the mask. The one and only thing is that the process of putting it in and letting it in for 15 minutes is a time consumer with my lifestyle. But I recommend it to everybody to get that extra boost of conditioning.

New go to hair mask!!!

For reference, I have long, thick, wavy/curly, bleached hair so my hair gets pretty frizzy, especially if I let it air dry. I used this redken mask in addition to my regular hair care routine. The first thing I noticed was the smell.. this product has a soft, clean smell that lasts for days on my hair. It made my hair feel moisturized and smooth. My wavy hair has been Frizz free for the past 3 days with no extra creams or products used. I highly recommend this product and I will definitely be buying the entire Frizz Dismiss line!

In exchange for my honest feedback, I was given the opportunity to try Redken Frizz Dismiss Masque. I do a lot of traveling from dry to humid climates and this has been amazing to help with my out of control Frizz. I've been using this in replacement to my conditioner a few times a week in- conjunction with Frizz dismiss serum. My hair is soft, not frizzy, no crazy fly aways and my hair is so so smooth. Not too smooth to where I can't still style it, and my volume is still great. I absolutely love the scent of this. It's one of my top favorite smelling products. I definitely recommend this!

Hair mask thoughts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this mask twice, and I felt that it works well in my hair. I think my biggest challenge with using this product and why I only give it 4 stars, is that the directions tell you to put in on towel dried hair and then let it sit on your hair and then rinse. In my shower routine, this is difficult as I am washing and then conditioning my hair and then showering and ready to get out of the shower. I don't want to have to wash my hair, get out of the shower, towel dry my hair, and then apply the mask and then repeat the shower process. So although it is a good product and I felt like it did help my hair, I just don't feel like it is a product that works very well for me.

Great hair mask to soften hair and de-frizz!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When my hair feels extra dry it looks frizzy, it needs something to penetrate and lock down that unkempt look! Before using this line I often had to wet down or spray my hair to smooth out the flyaways and frizz. This mask is something I use ever few days when I need more than the conditioner. I simply grab a dollop or two, work it through clean, wet hair. This mask should be left on 5-15 minutes. It worked well for me, I leave it on for about 10 minutes and step back in the shower and rinse well. You are left with soft, yet manageable hair, no frizz or fuzz! This line is also safe for color treated hair!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So the directions on the product state after shampooing to apply to 'towel dried' hair for 5 to 15 minutes then rinse out. Okay, who has time for this, but I did it once and it still did not give me frizz free hair. So I decided to go in Redken and saw comments from Redken to reviews that it should be applied to wet hair and rinsed after 3 to 5 minutes in place of conditioner, so why does the directions are the product not state that? Ok, so this is better as I can apply in the shower and rinse out. No change, still frizz. Hair is soft and shiny but weighed down and lacks any volume. This frizz dismiss line has not given me any positive results. Sorry I would not purchase or recommend.

Buy Redken Frizz Dismiss!!!

I honestly wouldn't have tried these products if I hadn't been given a sample, but I am so glad I had this opportunity. I have waist long hair and have spent tons of money on products, plus have used Wen and Monat, and they don't compare. My hair has never felt so good, in my 44 years. Thank you Redken! I will be using this combo from now on. Also, we are avid motorcycle riders and my hair is not getting knotted up like it used to. My hair does not tangle. It's amazing!

Love this mask!

I tried multiple products but nothing brought it back to what it was before until I tried this mask, along with the Frizz Dismiss shampoo and conditioner. It worked wonders. My hair was soft and smooth and just as it was before. I am so happy because I thought my hair was changed forever. I put the mask in my hair after shampooing and conditioning and leave it in for about 5-10 minutes. I then rinse it out and my hair is amazingly soft and smooth.. So happy with the Frizz Dismiss line!

Awkward to Use; Smells good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found the smell nice. Though, it is a little hard to get out of the container, and there's no instruction on how much to use. The product is awkward to use. You have to towel dry before applying. So, you have to get out of the shower, towel dry your hair, apply and then, you have to rinse it out, and dry it again. It also left a mess in the tub after rinsing.
It did make my hair feel soft. It had a wet look after letting air dry. It was less frizzy looking, but by the next day, the frizz was already returning. You would have to use it every other day to try to keep the frizz away.
No, I do not recommend this product.

No More Frizz!!

I have white blonde bleached hair which means it pretty damaged. My problem with most defrizz products is that it weighs my (baby fine) hair down and honestly I had never found a hair mask that did anything miraculous I general. That being said, I'm obsessed with this stuff. My hair has ZERO frizz when I use it and it feels so soft & luxurious without feeling greasy. & My hair has never looked healthier. I'll seriously buy this product for the rest of my life!!

I use hair masks at least twice a week to combat frizziness and to smooth it out. But nothing really helped until I started using this treatment. I always had to have so many booby pins in my hair to get the fly aways at bay, and just get my hair look a bit smoother than it is. After using the Frizz Dismiss mask for a few weeks now I can definitely see positive changes in my hair. It feels smoother, shinier and overall healthier. I never though I would find a product that could do that. I love this mask, and would definitely recommend to anyone who want to show their hair a bit of TLC and get that smooth effect.

I wasn't quite sure what to expect as I have fairly coarse, heat damaged hair. I was instantly impressed. This product is a bit heavy so I don't recommend if you have super fine hair. Also be sure to avoid your roots as it seems to weigh my hair down a bit. However, if you have coarse, dry or thicker hair, this stuff is amazing!! My hair is shiny and smooth after using this. No frizz here, and I typically have quite a bit. I would absolutely recommend this product to others!

I allowed it to remain on my hair for about 15 minutes since my hair tends to be very frizzy. Once I rinsed it and towel dried my hair I allowed it to dry naturally. WOW is all I can say. My hair was so silky, shiny, and soft it looked just like the models on TV. I have been using it every 3-5 days so I do not weigh my hair down too much. I love this mask and will continue to use it from now on. Kudos to Redken for making such great products!!!

I conditioned my hair for 20 minutes. During that time, you can do other things so you don't feel like you're waiting too long. The product is like a mask for hair. Gives your hair more nutrients. If you have curly and dry hair. You should try using this product in combination with the instructions. I think you will have smooth, straight hair like I just used. I really like this product. I will probably buy the whole set of this product again.

This has helped minimize that, which I really appreciate. This makes my hair super smooth, but it does tend to seem a little greasy afterwards. I generally only use it on the weekends so then I can have an extra day before people see me and an extra day to get my hair not so greasy. But I do notice less frizz for a week or so. I don't know that I would personally use this regularly but probably when I'm in the in between stage of hair cuts and I have a big event

I usually use frizz shampoo and conditioner, plus some type of leave-in product, but I've never done a mask. After the first use, I really noticed no difference and thought it was kind of a waste, but I tried it again a week later, and wow! It really straightens my hair and reduces the frizz. I don't like much volume to my hair, so if you do, this might not be the best product, but it was perfect for me! I'll add this to my weekly hair routine :)

I used this in place of the Frizz Dismiss conditioner to give my hair that extra boost of moisture. The mask distributed nicely throughout my long hair. I also really love the tropical scent. My hair has never felt so soft and smooth. I really liked how this product didn't weigh my hair down like other products have in the past. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Frizz mask does help control your frizz. You just apply it post shampoo on towel dried hair, leave on 5-15 minutes, then rinse out. I am not a fan of having to apply this on towel dried hair then have to rinse it out - for me that is more of summer time thing to do. This way, in the summer time, you can turn off the shower water, while still in the shower -grab a towel to towel dry your hair, apply, let set and then turn back on the water to rinse. Much more comfortable to that during the summer months when you don't have to worry about a chill. Luckily the jar has a good quantity of the product, so I will be saving a good portion of it, to use in the summer time - which is also my prime Frizzy time. . .so this will be a welcome assist.

Definitely tames the frizz

My hair is think and wavy, porous and my typical routine includes shampoo, conditioner and leave in treatment. When I used this product, I shampooed as normal and used the mask for about 5 minutes and then rinsed, I did not put in leave in treatment. It is heavy and my hair is very conditioned and there is 0% frizz. I will say that next time I am going to not put any at my roots as I felt that it seemed oily (this was adjustable with dry shampoo) and I felt that the overall effect (no frizz) was well worth it. I think if you play with placement and time leaving the mask on you will find what works best for you-although this does what it says and my hair is frizz free when usually it is a fluffy wavy mess!

Redken Frizz Dismiss does exactly what it says it will do! I am one who has extremely dry, frizzy hair, and I have seen a big difference since using this product. It does not have a very powerful scent, and the process is a little too much, with having to put in on, leave it for roughly 9 minutes, rince, towel dry, then resume washing, but it works! You do have to purchase the suggested shampoo and other products the bottle recommends to get the effect you desire, as it does not work well with other shampoos and conditioners. All in all, I am happy I was able to try this product and will definitely keep this as a useful product going forward.

But this mask left my hair soft as silk, and it felt light and still kept volume, but the frizz was actually gone! That is extra impressive because here in New York it is at 90% humidity and nothing else has helped. The smell isn't anything special, kind of like a warm brown sugar, Amber musk type smell. But the results are beyond my expectations! I was amazed. I would 100% buy this again!

I have super thick and frizzy hair and this is a life saver. I live in FL and the humidity is off the charts here in the summer. I use this mask three times a week and I haven't had to worry once about frizz this whole summer. It smells amazing, it's lightweight so it doesn't weigh my hair. This Redken Frizz Dismiss Mask definitely made a difference. My hair felt softer and looked smoother & less frizzy. I really like the scent too. The only thing I don't like is that the directions say: After shampooing, apply to towel-dried hair. Leave on 5-15 minutes. Rinse thoroughly. I think that towel-drying your hair before applying the mask is a pain I the butt & wonder if it's a big deal to not towel-dry before applying.

After applying it, I waited fifteen minutes before rinsing it out. I found this to be annoying because after already shampooing and conditioning my hair, I had to yet again get under the water and rinse this out. My hair did feel soft after use and it did help with some of the frizzy hair. But it is such a job to get to the point, I am not sure I would want to get this product again.

The frizz dismiss mask , used in combination with the shampoo and conditioner as a weekly routine will have your hair looking healthy and shiny . It seals my split ends and does not leave it feeling greasy or like there is too much product in my hair. My hair looks full of life and not weighed down . I now recommend this to all my friends . [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this Redken Frizz Dismiss Mask once a week. My hair gets so soft and smooth from it. I use this in place of the regular Redken Frizz Dismiss Condioner. I wash with the Redken Frizz Dismiss Shampoo then apply the Mask to my towel dried hair for 10 minutes. Rinse thoroughly then style as usual. For me, this product has eliminated the need for straighteners or other styling products. It's such a time saver! Oh, did I mention that it leaves your hair smelling wonderful all day? I just love this stuff!

The best "Frizz-be-gone" EVER!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product a few weeks ago and made sure I waited to give a review until after I had plenty of time to try it. The first time I used it, i used it as the directions instructed. I washed my hair and applied this product to towel dried hair and left it for about 7 minutes, and then rinsed it out. This product did an amazing job at de-frizzing my hair. Currently I have purple color treated hair so it can at times be a little dry and frizzy. This product prevents that from happening. I loved it so much, that I began to replace my conditioner with this product. I'm sure they make a conditioner, but this product worked well as a replacement. My hair is super soft and not greasy AT ALL. It has also helped extend the time I can go between washes. Definitely a five-star product!

Best mask out there for my frizzy haired friends

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Frizz Dismiss mask makes my hair look and feel expensive. I use the mask once a week and use a large scoopful at a time on my long, thick, wavy hair. I let it sit for at least five minutes while I am in the shower. After I rinse and comb through my hair, it feels so incredibly soft and legit frizz-free. I use this in conjunction with the Frizz Dismiss shampoo. This mask is well worth the money. Before trying out this product I had never heard of the Frizz Dismiss line. I am now a fan for life!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this on my daughter who struggles with tangles underneath her hair. This mask is probably the best I have used in a LONG time. It also has a very nice smell. It makes me feel like I'm at a fancy salon! I have already recommended this product to all of my family and friends. Plus if you have a daughter who gets tangles underneath the hair a lot then this is a MUST HAVE! No more tears when it's time to brush hair! I also used it on my own hair and have noticed a difference as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this hair mask!! It smells sooo good! I use it after washing my hair with Redken's Frizz Dismiss shampoo. I apply it on towel dry hair from root to tip and wrap my hair in a warm towel. I read or do my nails while the mask works its wonders! After 20 minutes I rinse it out. I can tell such a difference in my hair as I'm running my fingers through it while rinsing. My hair feels so nourished and moisturized! Without being greasy. My hair is less frizzy and is soft and manageable.

Smells nice, good conditioning

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this mask about once a week for the past few months. After washing my hair and squeezing out the excess water, I squeeze a good size handful of the mask into my hand. It's thick and creamy, but I like using it generously. The mask has a nice feminine, powdery perfume type of fragrance to it. It's easy to evenly distribute it throughout my hair. I brush it through and it conditions well and easily removes knots. I usually let it sit in my hair for 5-7 minutes, but it can be left in for up to 15 minutes. It rinses completely and easily. Unfortunately, I really haven't noticed any significant difference in the look or feel of my hair or the amount of frizz I have after using it. I had hoped it would work better than it does. I would say it works more like a good conditioner than a mask

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never tried products from Red Ken but I have really frizzy hair and colored hair so it's safe for colored hair. I love the smell of it the first time that I used it. It left my hair feeling really smooth and it detangle it I don't think that the smell is overpowering. I use it as a replacement for my conditioner to help my dead ends and it's just so smooth and It meets all my expectations with having a color safe mask. I will definitely recommend this. I really love this mask. It will take a few weeks to better notice the results, but I can tell you will. For better results I recommended using the same line shampoo, always. When using it do not use it on your scalp, inly hair. Towel dry your hair and then apply it, i like to leave it for at least an hour, and results are better, but 10-15 mins is also good. If you feel like your hair is dry, tangles a lot, and looks like is going to break at ant time, try this hydration mask!!
