HOW TO USE
After shampooing, apply to towel-dried hair. Leave on 3-5 minutes. Rinse thoroughly.

My new favorite!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used to have dull hair with split ends due to the daily styling. I was very interested in trying the Extreme Mask by Redken since I felt I needed a deep clean and hydration for my sculp and repair of my dry split ends.
I use it two times per week after shampooing my hair, keep it for 5-10 minutes and rinse it off.
It contains menthol and gives an intense cooling feeling to my sculp.
After a few weeks of use, I could see the difference. My hair is growing thicker and healthier, looks shiny and vibrant. I forgot about split ends despite my extensive hair beauty routine.
I highly recommend it to anyone who loves taking care of their hair!

Not the miracle product I hoped for

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to try the Redken Extreme Mask, as I tend to have a lot of split ends from using a flat iron. It goes on easily and feels like it coats well. Rinsing it out was a challenge, as it was so "slick", it was hard to tell when it was truly rinsed out. It took 5-6 rinses to get it all out. It seemed to smooth my hair really well - until it got to my split ends. It seemed to make them even more noticeable because the rest of my hair was smooth. Overall it would probably work well if you don't have damaged hair, but then the need wouldn't be there.

Writing this review as a licensed salon professional. This product works well. I would not say as well as the original formula, but well enough. The packaging however is terrible. The product is entirely too thick to work with the double tube design. I found my self dispensing more of the product from the inner tube before the product from the outer tube would come out. It is quite embarrassing to either hurt my hand pounding the tube against it or banging the tube against the shelf like a bottle of ketchup to be able to use it. A client actually asked me why bother with it? Well, she needed it, thats why. The packaging is pretty, the product works well, but it is not easy to use.

I LOVE this product. I think it might me too much for some hairtypes, like if your hair isn´t damaged enough. I work in a salon and my hair is a mess after way to many rounds of both bleach and haircolor. I was amazed already when I toweldried my hair, my ends was not even close as bad as it normally is after a hairwash. After every hairwash I have to straighten my hair, but when I use this I don´t have to do that. I just blowdried it (no brush) and it was soft, had more shine and felt so much better.
I can agree about the package tho. I am not a big fan of the separation of the product.

Left my hair feeling pretty soft

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a big fan of Redken products and my hair is currently very dry, so I was very excited to try the Redken extreme mask. I paired it with the Redken brown lights shampoo snd I could tell right away that the product felt very moisturizing. Unfortunately it did nothing to help detangle my unruly hair. It did however; make it feel soft and shiny once it was dry and styled. For reference my hair is very thick and textured so I prefer products that moisturize and help detangle, but I give this product a solid 8/10 and would recommend it for people who's hair isn't so textured.

I was surprised at how much I loved this hair mask! I hadn't heard of it before receiving the sample, and after using it, I'll definitely buy again! I love that it's color-safe, and doesn't leave residue. It's rich enough that I don't need to use conditioner afterwards, and you only need to leave it on for 3-5 minutes! You only need a small amount, and I think the full size will last for months because I only need to use it once a week for benefits.
It made my hair feel smooth and honestly made it feel like it had more volume (my hair is very fine). It feels healthy without being weighed down or greasy like I've noticed with other masks. This is a new favorite!

I purchased this product thinking it would be like the “anti-snap” with the results, but found out I was completely wrong. My hair felt nothing from this, just super brittle. Not moisturized, hydrated, nothing- just dry.
Whenever I would apply this product and do blowouts, even my blowouts looked stiff. I was really disappointed in this because I had such high hopes. Unfortunately I would not recommend anyone to purchase, but keep in mind, we all have different experiences. Mine just wasn’t that great.

I remember the good old days where Redken was actually good. Remember real control ,all soft and diamond oil. You guys have a back for discontinuing good products. Now you guys changed the formula for all soft and extreme again. Plus most of your products now have cheap mineral oil in the first 5 ingredients. Yuck I don’t know why Redken has been getting so cheap with their products and formularían and I’m tired of supporting this brand when they clearly don’t care anymore . They will probably delete this too would not surprise me dice they can’t take criticism.

This Redken product cannot compare with an earlier Redken product called "real control intense renewal". They want you to think that it does, but the Real Cintrol line was incomparable and can no longer be found. Why do companies not follow the "If it ain't broken, don't fix it" motto? Real Control was the best ever, and Redken no longer offers it. Time to look at another company's products since this company has disappointed so many of us who loved Real Control intenxe renewal. Why should we buy from a company that does not meet our purchasing needs?

My hair was dry and frizzy when I used this today I just leave on 5 minutes and I can see the big difference when I rinsed it.. I was quite surprised because my hair was so smooth and soft after I used this.. and I loved the smell not too strong ..and you can see the totally result when you blow dry your hair .. Oooomg my hair is so shiny ,smooth and soft.. till now I keep touching my hair I'm so impressed and amazed lol.. I'm thinking buy some more . Smooth and silky

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recieved the sample from Bzzagent and used it for my dry brittle hair. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it worked. I needed to remind myself to give time for the Redken Extreme Mask to work properly but even if I didn't keep it on as long as it stated I would still have soft manageable hair. I was so happy not to have dry brittle hair and be able to put a brush through my hair without pulling it out. The smell was light and pleasant not to perfumery. I have recommended this to family and friends to help with their dry hair repair.

I'm totally in love about this product because it really works and always save my hair after highlights process or dryness after a beach or pool day. I've been using this mask for several months and It's one of my favorites!
I leave it for 5 minutes to see good results. On the first week after chemical process I use it 2-3 times a week. After that just once a week is enough. When my hair gets over stressed I use as a leave in too.
The feel and the smell of the product is great and it rinses well. My hair is fine and the mask doesn't weighs it down at all. Definitely I'm going to be repurchasing this mask when my current one runs out.

I love this product. My only issue is the bottle has the illusion that your getting a lot of product for the money. But really after a month of once a week deep washes. Your basically squeezing the life outta the bottle to get just one more deep wash out of it. Besides that this is 100% the best deep conditioner I’ve ever used. I wish the price wasn’t the way it is. But I’m never disappointed with the outcome. I went from dark brown to icy blonde in less than a day. This deep mask saved my life, my hair and my sanity. ♥️

I am a big fan of this extreme hair mask! I keep my hair colored and use heat (hair dryer and straightener) on my hair on a daily basis so this helps to keep my hair looking healthy and smooth. I get this product at Ulta when I get my shampoo products and they usually have a buy 2 get 1 free deal with Redken products making this very affordable. I use once a week and it does not weigh my hair down or make it oily. I would def recommend for people who color or use heat to keep you hair looking healthy!

Very soft hair

I like that the mask is lightweight and a little goes a long way. There really isn't a scent to it…that is something I always look for in a product. My haír was very soft and felt very lightweight after using this product. It was also shiny. There was no frizz and my curls held up. If the product had a nice scent to it, I think I would purchase it and continue using it.

I have pretty long hair that desperately needs a trim, so my ends have become a little dry. I used the mask to condition my hair and noticed a difference immediately. My hair was so easy to brush right out of the shower, no tangles, it dried super soft and smelled great! The only issue I see, is the mask is super rich, I personally won't use this more than twice a week because I worry it will break out parts of my neck.

This product came when I was experiencing breakage and just a lot of dullness from my hair. No matter, what I was using it didn't seem to work. After using this mask for 2 weeks, I noticed little breakage and the shine was restored in my hair. It left my hair soft and manageable with a bounce that I love. The mask seemed to in my opinion to thicken my hair which was a added bonus. I loved the product so much until I went and bought other compatible products by REDKEN that would go with the mask. If you are experiencing any problems with your hair. I highly recommend trying this extreme hair mask. You will not be disappointed. Thanks Bzzagent for choosing me to sample an awesome product

I take a medication which has decimated my hair. My long, strong, glossy tresses are now split, broken, and do not shine. There are at least forty hair-repair products in my shower (my cleaning woman laughs at me!), from low-cost treatments to the most expensive. I've been trying everything to try to recover some of what I've lost. This mask has been a Godsend! The packaging is not the best, but that's a small price to pay for the benefits. I love the fresh scent and the silky feel of the cream. The first time I used it, I felt a difference when I rinsed it. My wet hair felt more "foritified." I dried it and there was far less frizz; broken ends were less noticeable. With continued use, I'm regaining the very pretty hair I once had. Redken products have never disappointed me--I'm just sorry that I didn't discover this sooner!

Nothing is going to fully do the trick, but this certainly has helped it be less of a tangly mess after showers. It smells good which is important for some of us. I have curly, thicker hair & use an dyson to dry & style. This mask left my hair smooth and soft. You have to make sure you wash all the product out of your hair to prevent any waxy feeling. I did notice this mask tame some of my frizz. I would not recommend this mask for thinner hair where it could weigh it down.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loveeee the smell and this makes my hair feel super soft and it does seem to have helped reduce breakage. My reason for not giving it the full 5 stars though is that I feel like labeling this as a "mask" (and an "extreme" one at that) is a bit misleading. It's a conditioner, just like the other conditioners I use in the shower, and about the same consistency as the Nexxus Humectruss conditioner that I had been using prior to receiving this product. I was really expecting this to be more like a mask that is left on for a longer period of time (perhaps even overnight like some other hair masks that I have used in the past). So dinging a star for not quite being what I expected it would be, based on the packaging. The product itself, however, is a wonderful conditioner that works as well as other high end conditioners and smells delightful, so I would recommend it!

I have spent all summer at the water park and pool which has done a lot of damage to my color treated hair, My hair was fried. For the past month I have deep conditioned my hair with this mask while in the shower on a weekly basis. After washing I applied hands full of the mask, starting at the ends and working my way up to my bangs, really making sure the underside was well coated. I ran the water hot and let the shower steam up and stayed in for 5-10 minutes. Every week my hair seemed a little softer and less brittle. Today I got my dead ends trimmed off and my hair felt like that of a baby. My hair dresser has very impressed. The only thing I did not like is the the fragrance. I prefer sweet floral and this was nutty, chocolaty smelling. It clashed with my shampoo. Other than that. I was very happy.

I use this once a month I don't care for the smell but it's works great my hair curly which is naturally dry this helps get moisture back in it and makes it soft but not to soft that my hair is flat I apply it to the ends of my hair and massage it all over out a cap on it leave it on for 20 min sometime I go under the dryer and sometimes I don't but I recommend this mask fir dry hair,and brittle hair

This conditioning mask has really helped. My hair feels great. It has kept it soft and healthy. It doesn't have much of a scent which honestly is nice. And it has left my hair soft, manageable and my curls look great. I definitely recommend using this product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After washing with shampoo (Pantene,sorry) I put some if this good stuff and let it sit while washing body and face and then washing off, I didn't use conditioner after. I really thought it made a difference I'm my hair leaving it first smelling great, also leaving it soft not fizzy as it would be usually after air dried. It did really make a difference with my hair and it was great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] During the time I use the product, the first weeks I noticed a change in softness in my hair, also less tangles were not surprising but if there was a change I think it is necessary to use the entire line of shampoo and conditioner to see the full results but in itself it is a product that complies with what it promises I liked although I am not sure I will acquire it in the future.

I would purchase again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently have removed my braids and my hair has been in protective styles for the past few months. My hair was in need of moisture, and I have naturally dry low porosity hair. The red Ken mask made a difference! I felt my curls come back to life and retention of moisture. Only problem I had with the mask was that it was too small. I basically used half the bottle in one wash.

Good hair mask

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Redken extreme mask strength repair for damaged hair is a good hair mask to add to your routine. The formula is thick and easy to distribute evenly. My hair looked more tame, smooth, and less frizzy after using this mask. My hair felt softer and smoother. I just replaced my normal conditioner with this mask. I will continue to use this mask in my hair routine on a weekly basis.

Not an exstreme mask

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would like to start with the pros l, it smells fantastic it has a very calming sweet scent not too over the top. It's doesn't weigh your hair down with that being said it is not an extreme mask like olaplex or some other brands for damaged hair. It's a nice conditioner but really just a basic hair mask. Again great for people with fine hair who just need a little extra help.

As a hairstylist, this is a holy Grail for my blonde clients

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Finally, a mask that smells amazing and actually works. As a hairstylist mainly doing blonde hair this mask is an absolute must on myself and my clients. I feel like this mask actually hydrates the hair instead of just putting a Band-Aid on it like some of the other masks I've used.
I will absolutely be bringing this brand to my salon, and would love to try some others .

A sigh of relief for my hair!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This conditioner does wonders for my hair. My hair is always brittle & straw like when it's wet. However, with this conditioner, it is not. I am able to easily comb the knots out of my hair without pulling out my hair…literately & figuratively. You can actually feel the difference in my hair. It also has a nice smell, & makes my super thick hair soft, shiny & manageable.

Great for when I don't feel like applying the two-step Aphogee direct protein treatment. Decent slip for detangling but I probably wouldn't purchase again as I've found better products that do the same while offering more. Plus it's so hard to squeeze out the product from the middle where you're told to press down so you can mix both of the conditioners together.
