Sam Villa's Hair Hacks: Creating Curls With Foil

Thought foil was just for colorists? Think again. In this video, Sam Villa shows you how to create cool curls using a flatiron, foil, and Iron Shape 11 Finishing Heat Protection Thermal Spray. Follow the simple steps below to use this technique at your salon!
- Section hair out of the way so you can work from the top to the bottom.
- Take a small half-inch to 1-inch section of the hair and mist with Iron Shape 11 top and bottom to ensure complete protection.
- Flatwrap the hair around two fingers and hold the wrapped hair as you would a pincurl.
- Place the curl flat against a small foil sheet and fold the foil overtop, surrounding the curl in foil.
- Clamp the foil-wrapped curl with a flatiron and hold for 5 seconds.
- Continue throughout the hair, and once cooled, remove the foils to check out your curled creations!
