In this hair hack, Sam creates gorgeous, organic volume on a ponytail using Redken’s Pillow Proof Blow Dry two day extender. Next up, Sam shares a hot tip for covering a hair elastic that you’ll want to use on all of your clients!
• Create a ponytail
• Take Redken's Pillow Proof Blow Dry two day extender and spray throughout the inside of the ponytail. This will create frothy, organic volume
• Take a large hairpin and slide it underneath the hair elastic
• Wrap a piece of hair around the elastic and hair pin
• Take another hair pin (think of it just like a needle and thread) and thread the pin through the piece of hair that you wrapped around the elastic
• Take the hair you pulled through the hair pin and slide the hair pin down
• Take the hair pin and pull it through the ponytail- now you have covered the hair elastic without using a grip!
