On the 1st wash you'll see a difference!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Yes on the first was I noticed the difference! My hair was box colored dark brown, recently went into the salon and got highlights. We all know the damage it can do. Well I tried Redken Extreme Shampoo & Conditioner for Damaged Hair and man oh man what a difference it made! My hair was easy to comb through and once it completely dried up and I styled it, it had shine and volume. You do have to make sure that you rinse your hair properly orbit will leave it feeling limp! Oh and I either straighten or curl my hair Monday though Friday. Wash it 2-3 days during the week and daily on the weekends. The scent is amazing !! Give it a try!!!

I used redken extreme strength repair shampoo and conditioner just 3 weeks now 2 times a week
When I shampoo and conditioner I felt my head kind like very weird and head heavier than another shampoo and conditioner is that normal or not
It's very hard to comb and blow dry
Feeling stiff dry and hard is that normal or not
Can I mix extreme conditioner with another conditioner or some oil
Can I color or highlight my hair when I used redken extreme strength repair
What can I do for easy to blow dry hair. I also introduced this product to my friends before I used it and they had the same problem. What can I do now please help

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This new Redken shampoo is truly for any head. I first used the shampoo at night. I was tired, took a shower (using shampoo and conditioner) didn't think anything about it... but when I woke up I couldn't believe how soft and flowy. As in it looked great! Totally shocked, I have used product for about a week and a half. And I must say my hair is so carefree. No frizzy halo. No crunchy noise when brushing. Just beautiful soft flowing hair. The quality is evident. I felt pampered with the rich foam. Smell isn't overwhelming at all. I can up my hair up wet and go then pull it down mid day and still look fabulous! I'm switching shampoos, it's simply a must buy!!

My sister is a cosmetologist, and recommended this to me! I have course / Processed / Bleached hair. It is great to add back those extra protein's for hair that is over processed, and I saw an overall decrease in the amount of split ends and my hair was stronger / less frizzy when used with the conditioner. My only complaint is my hair looked slightly "dull" when using this, and my sister recommended using an oil with it because since it is so nourishing, it sometimes adds too much protein. When combined with the oil, my hair has never looked better! Would definitely recommend if you're using with other Redken Products.

I bought this shampoo and conditioner to help recover it after going blonde. I had been using drug store shampoo before, and this is what my hair stylist recommended. My hair feels better than it did before coloring it, less of it comes out in the shower (not even half of what happened before) and I’m absolutely amazed by it. The smell wasn’t my favorite at first, in the bottle it smells…almost like the original monster energy drink. But it doesn’t smell like that at all while using, just a very clean, classic “salon” smell. It’s worked wonders for my hair and I am absolutely in love with it!! Can’t recommend enough

My stylists have always recommended them and I was excited to try this particular product which I received free in exchange for my review! I've been working hard on repairing my damaged curly hair by using extra hydrating products and never using heat. This product lathered really well and my scalp felt really clean afterward. It didn't feel like it was stripping the moisture out of my hair, but actually felt like my tresses were smooth and frizz-free after shampooing. I think it definitely works best paired with the conditioner. I'm going to keep using it to see if my hair does in fact become stronger and less damaged.

I decided to try this when the old packaging was being phased out and I couldn’t find the All Soft (gold bottle - 5 stars, for old one at least). For perspective, my hair is long and my individual strands are fine but I have a lot of hair. The products smell nice, but my hair is left dry and disastrous. I had to use four times as much conditioner as shampoo just to be able to run my fingers through when wet. When it dries it’s in a partial rats nest and the rest is frizzy. Definitely not stronger or healthy looking at all. I gave it a week’s trial, but the shampoo now sits in the under-sink graveyard as I used all the conditioner (yes, in one week) and will not be buying more.

My stylist was in such shock when I came in two months after my initial appointment with silky soft hair! Because.. I went from natural dark black (on stubborn, coarse Asian hair) to #blondeAF in a day! She did use brazilian bond builder to keep my locks strong throughout the process but we were both expecting some damage to be done. A once a week shampoo and condition with Redken Extreme helped keep my hair feeling exactly like it did before the 8 hours worth of processing. Super thankful! Knocked off a star for the shampoo washing out my color pretty quickly. I'll try out a sulfate free next time.

I have natural 4C Raw Indian hair & it took to the product perfectly. My hair was not damaged at all from using the product. As well lathered very well & the scent was phenomenal! My curl pattern was defined intensely. Minimal shrinkage, little to none shedding which is a key factor for me.
I definitely recommend this for African American women with natural hair. I’m a very hard person to please when it comes to new hair products & I give it 5STARS!

Excellent for curly combination hair!

Often times, as somebody with curly combination hair I noticed that my hair feels extra dry or brittle after shampooing… I was over the moon with the fact that my hair felt soft and easy to comb through after shampooing… I didn't even need conditioner in my hair to be able to get a comb through it… And that is saying a lot considering I have very thick curly hair. This felt very nice on my scalp, again it did not dry or cause irritation… My scalp felt nice and clean afterwards the ingredients work very well for my typically hard to manage hair.

I immediately noticed how differently this product impacts the quality of my hair after only one day of use. I have incredibly coarse and thick hair, so when I get out of the shower, it tends to get super knotty and tangled pretty quickly, but this shampoo helped me comb through all the horrible knots without giant strands of hair pulling out and clogging up the bristles of my brush. Aside from its effectiveness, this shampoo has other nice aspects, such as its aroma. It's quite relaxing and lasts a long time. I would definitely recommend this product to my friends and family who struggle with the same issues as I do!

The real results come after your hair is dried, It left my hair incredibly manageable, soft and smooth! It looked like I had flat ironed my hair it was so silky. My hair felt and looked healthier. I think this is great for anyone who has damage, color traits, or just wants great looking hair fresh out of the shower! I also love the bigger bottles. They aren’t so big that they are inconvenient but a little larger so you have more product.

Game Changer for Damaged Hair

To keep it as healthy as I can, I usually use Redken All Soft shampoo and heavy cream, but it it's a little heavy, making my hair oily be the end of the workday. I was SO excited to try this Redken product! Not only did it smell amazing, but it left my hair healthy and light, but without the oil. I didn't think that was even possible with my hair, but this is a game changer! I've been using it for a few weeks now, and I'm not going back. I can even get two days out of a wash with no oil, and my ends are healthier than they've been in years! Game changer for sure!!

My all time favorite shampoo and conditioner line. The extreme shampoo and conditioner work double duty to get your hair back on track. It has proteins to help rebuild your hair and make it truly healthy. I recommend this to almost everyone, although fellow stylest are quick to say you can't use products with proteins on normal undamaged hair because it will have a reverse affect, I disagree. Your hair acts like a sponge, if it doesn't need the extra proteins it won't absorb it. I have used this both with dyed and permed hair and with virgin hair and it is amazing for both.

Not for everyday use on fine hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far I like the Redken Extreme system and feel like Redken is a reputable brand so I believe over time that it will help with breakage. I have thin, fine hair and was really worried it would be too heavy and zap all my volume.
It smells lovely and it lathers well. I haven't had any problems with rinsing or feeling left over residue.
Because it is not formulated for fine hair I don't use it every day. More like every other. It leaves my hair shiny and healthy looking, but is a tad bit heavy for me so I don't get the volume I want and worry that daily use is too much.

I have been using the shampoo, conditioner and the leave in treatment and my hair has felt so healthy. I usually wash my hair every 2-3 days but it has been staying clean and greasy for up to 5! I have an extremely dry scalp and I was worried this product would make it worse but it has cleared up a bit after only 4 uses. I will definitely be buying more of this product and from the brand. My hair feels soft and clean and I feel like I have been shedding less hair when I shower and brush it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shampoo does a pretty darn good job. I have curly, thirsty, colour-treated, oil-prone hair, and this shampoo does a good job. I’m pretty careful about the shampoo that I use on my hair because now as an adult I’ve found that sweet spot that requires a delicate balance with all the things that I have going on with my mane. This product smells good and treats my hair well. I recently got some foil highlights done in my hair and my hair actually seems stronger after using this with the highlights. And while I wish this shampoo did a little more for my curls and didn’t have a lather, I would happily recommend it to my friends and family! In fact I have! My mother is currently using this shampoo now and she says she loves it.

This shampoo has really worked some magic on my hair. Unlike other shampoos a little bit of product goes a long way. And it doesn't leave my have looking greasy the very next day. Instead it has given my hair a soft and luxurious look and feel. Even my husband has complimented me on how shiny and smooth my hair looked and felt. This is definitely a keeper. The only complaint I would have (and his even isn't that bad) is that the smell reminded me of fruity pebbles. I paired this with the redken extreme conditioner. I have medium to thick hair and I color it from time to time and use heat tools on it almost daily so my hair has definitely suffered some damage. I love this smell of this shampoo, it’s mild but still smells great. A little bit of product goes a long way which I like because this shampoo is priced moderately high. I’d say it’s totally worth the price. I have used it three times and I already see a difference in my hair! The left is before and then right is after (my hair was colored between photos)

I’m honestly disappointed by the extreme shampoo and conditioner. I have the extreme bleach lamellar water and the cica cream and I love those products. I decided to buy the shampoo and conditioner to add to my hair repair collection because my hair is extremely chemically damaged and i’m working to repair it (it’s come a long way already). The shampoo and conditioner ended up drying my hair out more than i expected. I will not be using the shampoo and conditioner very often.... the chi infra line is a lot better for adding softness, shine and strength.

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked the shampoo and could feel the difference. I have hard water in my house and I’ve heard that PH shampoos can help with the chemicals that latch onto your hair when washing it with hard water. I could feel the difference after just one use. My hair felt cleaner and was a little softer. The smell is pleasant and wasn’t over powering. I’m so glad I got this complimentary from Influenster and will most likely purchase this when I run out.

LovLove this shampoo! It works better when you useit with other products from the Extreme line, but this shampoo smells great, and really puts protein back into distressed hair. I have an ombre, and my ends were really dried out at first. But when I switched to the Extreme, it really made a difference. Definitely recommend to people with highlights and lightener in their haire this shampoo! This shampoo helped restore my hair's overall healthiness and shine. Summer tends to dry out my hair because I am always out in the sun or swimming, so I find myself needing extra moisture in my hair products once summer is over. This definitely fits the bill. For the longest time my hair was going through a dry spell. I would get huge rats nest knots, my hair would break, and it would just lay flat on my head with no volume or body, but plenty of frizz!! Then I tried this redkin extreme shampoo and it's really been a game changer for me! My hair is so much stronger, it doesn't break, it's voluminous and shiny even though I have very curly hair!! Just after a few washes it's changed my hair completely! After I tried the sample I ended up getting the jumbo size!!! I would definitely recommend!

The Redken Extreme range is my saviour! Please don't stop this range I LOVE IT!! I have tried so many different shampoos/Hair care ranges and nothing works for my hair. From the very first used to every single time I was my hair with the Redken Extreme shampoo, Conditioner and the hair mask, my hair feels so soft and manageable. Even my Hairdresser noticed an improvement in my damaged brittle hair. The quality of this range is better than any other hair care even better Kerastase!! I also use the Redken Extreme Anti-snap have done for years and years. I will not ever change from Redken! So happy and please that this is the only hair care range that really works for my hair. I'm letting my hair grow so this is really a terrific product/combination of products for me - especially considering I swim in our chlorinated pool several times a week and I live in the desert - so my hair takes a regular beating. My hair is already shinier and smoother. I'm sold!

Noticeable difference in my fragile hair!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used this shampoo for 3 weeks solid. I teach hot yoga and I run so I shampoo and condition my hair daily or sometimes more than once a day. My hair is very fine and breaks easily. Since I've been using Redken Extreme strengthening shampoo and conditioner I've noticed my hair feels stronger, thicker, and doesn't break as easy. However, it is usually frizzy when it dries. (I always let my hair air dry.) It's strong but I think it lacks some moisture, or maybe I just overwash it. The shampoo and conditioner smell great!

This shampoo has killed my hair

I heard really great things about this shampoo and conditioner but for me it didn’t work, it ruined my hair. Ive never dyed my hair, I don’t use heat or any other damage but since using this my hair has been coming out in clumps and snapping all over. My hair has never been in a worse condition. It gets knotty within an hour of brushing and brushing is so difficult and scary now - watching and hearing your hair snap is awful!
The shampoo lathers really nicely and has a nice smell but once it’s washed out, there is no smell. My hair never feels like that freshly washed and clean feeling. It just dries smelling like -hair-.
Use this product carefully, maybe it will work for you but my hair is so thin now that I can see my scalp. I don’t wish this feeling of insecurity on anyone.

And because of the highlights my hair tends to feel really dry at the ends. The shampoo is a little thinner than I like in a shampoo. I had to use more of the Redken Shampoo product to get a good lather in my hair. My hair felt clean and didn’t feel dried out after, it also left my hair feeling soft and hydrated. The bottle sizes are perfect for my little shower shelf! The smell is a hint of sweet perfume and a fresh scent. The smell is not overbearing and can I could still smell it after blow drying my hair. My hair was left feeling soft and and smooth! After styling my hair I didn’t notice any breakages and I had so much volume to play with.

Redken Extreme Not Impressed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was honored when selected by bzzagent to receive a #free sample of Redken Extreme hair products. In return I'm offering my honest review. I have been a loyal Redken consumer for 25+ yrs
So I was truly shocked when I tried their Extreme Shampoo & Conditioner regimen to repair/replenish damaged hair. I was expecting an enjoyable experience and the results were less than enjoyable. The set is unscented and did not supply the typical "clean" feeling I've come to expect from Redken. My hair did not feel clean, replenished or moisturized at all. Honestly, I felt as if I was using a knock off budget product line and didn't expect these results from my long time preferred brand. I will continue to be a loyal Redken customer but unfortunately, I can not recommend their Extreme line to anyone.

Excellent Shampoo

I have damaged hair from coloring it and have tried soooo many expensive repair shampoos that I find leave my hair feeling dry and tangled once I rinse it out. This shampoo is creamy with a light scent and lathers your hair like a dream and doesn't leave your hair feeling dehydrated once rinsed out. The shampoo paired with the conditioner leaves my damaged hair looking and feeling good!!! Thank you Bzz Agent & Redken!

It lathers very well and makes my hair feels softer. I shower at night, and by the end of the next day my hair feels and smells as fresh as it did when I first get out of the shower. I have been going through post partum hair loss the past 6 months and I feel like this product will really help strengthen my hair back. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So, when I first got the set of products - Extreme Shampoo & Conditioner - I ended up mixing them up because the Conditioner stated "Shampooing" on the front. The shampoo doesn't work well as a conditioner, FYI, lol. Anyways, once I got that straightened out, the shampoo worked amazing! It suds up extremely well, cleansed my hair and scalp really well. It left my hair feeling moisturized, while also feeling clean. It also left my hair smelling so good, too. Definitely recommend these products.

Strong, soft hair!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have hair I’ve been growing for a long time (thanks, pandemic!) and have some damaged ends as a result. This left my hair feeling clean and soft, while also making it stronger and repairing some of the damage I had. The only thing I’d say is that if your hair is extremely fine and/or oily, I might still have a clarifying shampoo in your regimen once a week or so. I will keep using this, but I do feel a bit cleaner if I do keep a clarifying shampoo as an occasional part of my routine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Initially I was concerned about the entire line of extreme shampoo, conditioner & leave in conditioner being too heavy for my curly hair. I was right. The products are great for breakage as they state. But, it definitely weighs down my natural curls. I would highly recommend if you straighten your hair. The packaging is appealing, the smell is nice, rinses well. I found myself spraying the leave-in conditioner on my hand and then applying rather than spraying directly on to my hair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product complimentary to test out and give my honest opinion so here goes it I wash my hair twice a week and for my tester I received the Extreme shampoo and I must say it did wonders for my hair in just two washes I could feel and see the difference my hair is usually kind of dry in the winter bc I’m biracial and my hair is a mixture of two textures and I found this gives me just the right amount of moisture without being greasy ! 10/10 I highly recommend trying
