Frizz Dismiss Mask Intense Smoothing Treatment

Having a background working in a salon for years, Redken is a brand that I know well and trust. I was super impressed with this mask. It's very easy to use, and a small amount of product goes such a long way. Having curly hair I worry when introducing new products, that my curls might not like it. I was pleasantly surprised that it worked really well with my curls. Typically I can go 3 days without washing, 4 if I really push it. This mask controlled my frizz for the entire 4 days!! It's a huge bonus that locks kept the amazing smell of the product the whole time!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I started using this Redken Frizz Dismiss Mask from the day I received the full sized sample. It really helped my hair after a few days of use. My hair was really dry and frizzy from coloring and blow drying it. I thought the scent was as nice as the shampoo and conditioner, it truly works. I wasn't aware of the Mask for hair before I recieved my sample. Usually I just always used shampoo and conditioner, and now there is the extra conditioning with the mask. The one and only thing is that the process of putting it in and letting it in for 15 minutes is a time consumer with my lifestyle. But I recommend it to everybody to get that extra boost of conditioning.

For reference, I have long, thick, wavy/curly, bleached hair so my hair gets pretty frizzy, especially if I let it air dry. I used this redken mask in addition to my regular hair care routine. The first thing I noticed was the smell.. this product has a soft, clean smell that lasts for days on my hair. It made my hair feel moisturized and smooth. My wavy hair has been Frizz free for the past 3 days with no extra creams or products used. I highly recommend this product and I will definitely be buying the entire Frizz Dismiss line!

In exchange for my honest feedback, I was given the opportunity to try Redken Frizz Dismiss Masque. I do a lot of traveling from dry to humid climates and this has been amazing to help with my out of control Frizz. I've been using this in replacement to my conditioner a few times a week in- conjunction with Frizz dismiss serum. My hair is soft, not frizzy, no crazy fly aways and my hair is so so smooth. Not too smooth to where I can't still style it, and my volume is still great. I absolutely love the scent of this. It's one of my top favorite smelling products. I definitely recommend this!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this mask twice, and I felt that it works well in my hair. I think my biggest challenge with using this product and why I only give it 4 stars, is that the directions tell you to put in on towel dried hair and then let it sit on your hair and then rinse. In my shower routine, this is difficult as I am washing and then conditioning my hair and then showering and ready to get out of the shower. I don't want to have to wash my hair, get out of the shower, towel dry my hair, and then apply the mask and then repeat the shower process. So although it is a good product and I felt like it did help my hair, I just don't feel like it is a product that works very well for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When my hair feels extra dry it looks frizzy, it needs something to penetrate and lock down that unkempt look! Before using this line I often had to wet down or spray my hair to smooth out the flyaways and frizz. This mask is something I use ever few days when I need more than the conditioner. I simply grab a dollop or two, work it through clean, wet hair. This mask should be left on 5-15 minutes. It worked well for me, I leave it on for about 10 minutes and step back in the shower and rinse well. You are left with soft, yet manageable hair, no frizz or fuzz! This line is also safe for color treated hair!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So the directions on the product state after shampooing to apply to 'towel dried' hair for 5 to 15 minutes then rinse out. Okay, who has time for this, but I did it once and it still did not give me frizz free hair. So I decided to go in Redken and saw comments from Redken to reviews that it should be applied to wet hair and rinsed after 3 to 5 minutes in place of conditioner, so why does the directions are the product not state that? Ok, so this is better as I can apply in the shower and rinse out. No change, still frizz. Hair is soft and shiny but weighed down and lacks any volume. This frizz dismiss line has not given me any positive results. Sorry I would not purchase or recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My hair has never felt smoother and been less tangly than since using Redken Frizz Dismiss Shampoo, Conditioner, and Mask! I honestly wouldn't have tried these products if I hadn't been given a sample, but I am so glad I had this opportunity. I have waist long hair and have spent tons of money on products, plus have used Wen and Monat, and they don't compare. My hair has never felt so good, in my 44 years. Thank you Redken! I will be using this combo from now on. Also, we are avid motorcycle riders and my hair is not getting knotted up like it used to. My hair does not tangle. It's amazing!
