• Take a high-hold hairspray, such as Redken's Control Addict 28 and spray all over your hands
• Work your hands through the hair, brushing the hair back away from the face, to create control with a no-product feel
• Spray product on your hands again and repeat the technique as needed until you acheive your desired result
