Sam Villa's Hair Hacks: Creating Curls With A Ponytail Knot

Do your clients struggle to curl their hair in those hard to reach places? Be sure to share this tip the next time they’re in your chair! In this video, Sam demonstrates an easy trick to achieve beautiful all-over curls using Redken’s Full Frame 07! Follow the simple steps below to use this hair hack in your salon!
• Gather hair and secure in a high ponytail
• Take a small amount of Full Frame 07 and work product throughout a small section of the ponytail to create texture
• Tie the section of hair into a knot
• Secure knot with a bobbi pin
• Continue this technique throughout the ponytail. Hot Tip: The smaller the section of hair- the more defined your curls will be!
• Next, use a diffuser to dry and set the product in the hair
• Release the bobbi pins and cut the hair elastic at the base of the ponytail
• Lightly shake the hair out using your hands to reveal beautiful volume and curls
