Sam Villa's Hair Hacks: How To Create A Push-Up Braid Using Dry Shampoo Paste 05

In this video, Sam shows us how to create a four-strand push-up braid, using Redken's NEW Dry Shampoo Paste 05. Dry Shampoo Paste 05 is a 2-in-1 styler that gives you the texture of a paste, while doubling as a dry shampoo. It’s oil-absorbing, provides hair with separation and added grip, and also gives you re-workable hold.
Follow the simple steps below to create this look!
• Take a small amount of Dry Shampoo Paste 05 and work product into your palms
• Take a section of hair and work product through the section
• Slice section into 4 smaller sections and begin braiding --(Begin right under over, then left over under and continue with this technique)
• When you've finished braiding your section, take pieces one, three, and four and push the hair up
• Start to slowly push the hair back down, molding the hair to create an interesting pattern
• Pin the hair underneath to using a bobby pin and let the rest of the hair fall over
And there you have it. A simple rhythm that adds visual value to a braid. And remember, product isn’t an option, it’s a necessity.
