Redken Symposium 2017 Recap With The R Team
Redken’s R Team members love to share both their craft and their journey on social media, and this year Redken was thrilled to bring them to Redken Symposium 2017 to cover one of the industry’s largest hair education events! Not only did Redken’s R Team members post up a storm on Snapchat& Instagram, but they also enjoyed learning and networking at this year’s Symposium.
So just what did each R Team member have to say about Redken Symposium 2017? Let’s find out!
“I had two favorite moments...Monday Night Bash was such a wonderful time! I absolutely loved connecting with everyone. It was seriously an amazing experience” said RTeam member Casandra McGlaughlin,“My second favorite moment was walking across the stage in front of all the attendees. It was such a rush!”
Fellow R Team member Elizabeth Faye mentioned that she loved the amazing energy of experiencing the Redken culture in “full force”.
“The energy was amazing! Everyone was positive and uplifting. I left very inspired”.
R Team member Gina Devine also found Redken Symposium to be a valuable experience, and her background in painting definitely made itself known as she shared her favorite moment.
“My key education take away was that every platform artist who presented was very much influenced by other genres of fine art; whether it be fibers, sculpture, painting, or any element of 2D/3D design, there was a lot of influence that sat outside the realm of hair which was refreshing for me, being more of a fine artist than a hair artist”, Devine said.
Outside of the amazing education offered at this year’s Symposium, members of the R Team were excited to meet and come together to inspire other salon professionals.
“My favorite moment was meeting everyone on the R Team and connecting with them so genuinely, it was so much like a family!” said R Team member Lyndsey Palumbo, “We all bonded on the respect of one another's talents and hustle in this industry. We vibed off each other’s positivity and excitement for this opportunity we were all given.”
While each RTeam member had a unique and amazing experience at Redken Symposium 2017, it’s clear that all were inspired by the energy of the event and their fellow team members!
