It is not recommended to continue using developer if the cap has been removed or lost. Without a cap, not only can the strength (active levels of H2O2) degrade, but the formula itself can be affected by contaminants.

If you have product that has frozen, allow to fully thaw at room temperature. Do not heat to thaw. When dispensing from tube or bottle inspect for any visible product separation. If no separation is present, you can proceed with applying the product.

It’s not recommended to do so since different developers contain different ingredients, such as conditioning agents.
