Prepare and apply the mix in a well-ventilated area. - Do not use metallic tools (tongs, comb, etc). Prepare the mixture by taking the bleaching cream first and then by adding the oxidant on top of it. Keep the container well-sealed in a dry, well-ventilated area away from heat and light.
Use exclusively with the recommended Redken Pro-Oxide™ Oil Developer, maximum 30 volumes (9%) (maximum 20 volumes (6%) in case of on-scalp application), and the covering accessories indicated.
Mixing ratio: 1:1.5 to 1:3.The use of 30 volume developer is limited to the mixing ratio 1:1.5 for off-scalp application.
Maximum development time: 50 min. Do not apply heat during the development time. - Do not exceed the development time and rinse hair very carefully with lukewarm water. - Use immediately the mixture after preparation and discard any leftover mixture

WHAT IS THE ADVANCED NEUTRALIZATION? ARE THERE DYES IN THE FORMULA?
There are no dyes in the formula that will tone the hair. Blonde IQ 8 Calibrated Anti-Brass Cream Lightener when mixed with Pro-Oxide Oil Developer efficiently drives neutralization power to the hair’s core, breaking down eumelanin and pheomelanin for your most neutralized 8-level lift blonde. There is blue pigment in the cream, the same as you will find in existing Redken powder lighteners to provide color to the cream formula.
MUST I USE THE DEDICATED DEVELOPER? WHY?
Yes, the lightening cream and oil developer have been specifically calibrated to work as a system to provide the perfect consistency for application and up to 8 levels of lift. We recommend following the instructions found on pack and reading the safety warnings provided.
HOW IS THIS DIFFERENT FROM BLONDE ICING? IS BLONDE ICING DISCONTINUED?
Blonde Icing is being discontinued. Blonde Icing provides less lift (up to 7 levels) and has its own dedicated developers. Blonde IQ 8 Calibrated Anti-Brass Cream Lightener, formulated with newer technology, lifts up to 8 levels and is mixed with Pro-Oxide Oil Developer which is also used with Blonde IQ 9+ Calibrated Anti-Brass Lightener.
HOW MANY LEVELS OF LIFT ARE ACHIEVABLE WITH BLONDE IQ 8 CALIBRATED ANTI-BRASS CREAM LIGHTENER, IN WHAT AMOUNT OF TIME?
Blonde IQ 8 Calibrated Anti-Brass Cream Lightener can give you up to 8 levels of lift and can be processed up to 50 minutes depending on the desired result.
IS BLONDE IQ 8 CALIBRATED ANTI-BRASS CREAM LIGHTENER FOR ALL HAIR TYPES?

CAN BLONDE IQ 8 CALIBRATED ANTI-BRASS CREAM LIGHTENER BE USED THE SAME DAY AS ANOTHER LIGHTENER, CHEMICAL RELAXER, OR TEXTURE SERVICE?
No. You cannot use Blonde IQ 8 Calibrated Anti-Brass Cream Lightener the same day as another lightener and after a chemical relaxer. You must wait two weeks before using Blonde IQ 8 Calibrated Anti-Brass Cream Lightener after any texture service. Use discretion when lightening hair that may be sensitized. Do not perform any lightener service on hair that is very fine or fragile. Always perform a strand test when using a lightener on hair that has been previously sensitized.
CAN BLONDE IQ 8 CALIBRATED ANTI-BRASS CREAM LIGHTENER BE USED ON ALL LEVELS?
Yes, Blonde IQ 8 Calibrated Anti-Brass Cream Lightener can be used on all starting levels, including levels 2-5 when up to 8 levels of lift is desired. When using on lighter levels (6+) it is recommended to use 10 volume Pro-Oxide Oil Developer and to check lifting action frequently (for example, every 10-15 minutes).

Can Blonde IQ 8 be used for both on-scalp and off-scalp applications?
Blonde IQ 8 Calibrated Anti-Brass Cream Lightener can be used for both on-scalp and off-scalp applications. For on-scalp applications, please use a mixing ratio of either 1:2 or 1:3 with the Pro Oxide Oil Developer 10 or 20 Volume for up to 50 minutes, depending on desired results. For off-scalp applications, such as balayage, highlights in foils, meche, and free-hand techniques, please use a mixing ratio of 1:1.5 with 10 - 30 Volume or 1:2 with 10 – 20 Volume for up to 50 minutes.
HOW FAST WILL I SEE 8 LEVELS OF LIFT?
Blonde IQ 8 Calibrated Anti-Brass Cream Lightener provides up to 8 levels. The speed of lift will depend on the level of developer used as well as the hair fiber itself (texture, history, porosity, etc). As different types of hair process at different rates, for best results we recommend checking the lightening action regularly during processing to determine when desired results are achieved.
