HOW TO USE
Use as a complete system with Color Extend Blondage Conditioner. Wearing suitable gloves, apply to wet hair, lather and rinse well. Repeat if necessary. For maximum benefits, leave second lather on 3-5 minutes. Rinse. Follow with Color Extend Blondage Conditioner.

Now my favorite purple shampoo!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This purple shampoo is, in my opinion, perfect in every way. It is not too runny or too thick. It gives a bit of a lather but not so much that your shower is getting covered with purple stains. If there is one thing I CANNOT stand, it is yellow in my hair! I need it white/silver and if I see ANY trace of yellow, I cringe. This shampoo is a great deep purple and, used in combination with other items in the Blondage line, takes any yellow right out of my hair and keeps it looking beautifully silver, just how I like it! I will purchase again! I was gifted this Redken Blondage set in exchange for my honest review… and this is as honest as it gets!

Great at toning, incredibly drying for my hair.

Does a fantastic job at toning hair, but is EXTREMELY drying. I only use this once a week and lather the shampoo up for about 2 minutes and then let the conditioner sit for at least 5. Despite this, I have to use a hair mask and not rinse it out in order for my hair to be manageable. Otherwise, I can't even brush through it. The color is beautiful, but I can't stand my hair standing up every time I touch it because it's so dry that its electrically charged. I previously used L'Oreal ever pure and while I needed to use it more frequently to stay toned, it was cheaper and did not leave my hair feeling like straw so I will be switching back to that.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For years I’ve asked my stylist, what can I do to prevent looking brassy/yellow so quickly? After trying every high end product out there, I had given up & accepted that purple products just didn’t work for my hair. Then my stylist called insisting I try this holy grail combo from @redken! Finally!! I have found purple products that actually work!!
Not only does it help keep the brass away, it smells amazing! Like seriously. So good! Unlike other purple shampoos, it does not dry out and damage, my hair feels soft & looks healthy! And best of all stays BRIGHT BLONDE longer! So now I’m sharing to my fellow blondies- you MUST TRY THIS!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was hesitant to try this 3 step process especially after reading some of the reviews that said it left your hands blue and even sores on your scalp, ouch! Luckily my results were completely different. At first I tried using it with gloves just to be safe and then realized even without gloves it did not leave my hands blue. The results were definitely noticeable after one use. I will continue to repurchase this 3 step process since it has worked better for me than any other purple shampoos and conditioners. Must have for blondes or highlighted hair, no more brassy hair. I received this product complimentary for my honest review.

Best Purple Shampoo I've Owned

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shampoo is the real deal. The moment it came out of the bottle, I knew that this product was high quality and that it would work. This shampoo is a deep purple, that is a little runny, but covers hair well. In fact, it is *so* pigmented that my tub water turned purple - looking as if I'd used a bath bomb. Also, the shampoo has a light pleasant scent that isn't overbearing. I personally am sensitive to perfumes, but this product didn't bother me as others have. Finally, the results were fantastic - my blonde looked like day one of coloring. If you are in the market for a new purple shampoo - give this shampoo a try.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I had my highlighted about 6 weeks ago on my usual schedule and it always tends to start looking dull and just a bit brassy after awhile. I’ve tried countless other “purple” shampoos and conditioners, all which seemed to help a little, but leave my hair dry and damaged. I had given up and thought I would just have to deal with the brassy color every few weeks, but then I received this product line complemetary to test, and this stuff is AMAZING. My hair feels healthy, looks shiny, and is the perfect shade of blonde. Pro tip: always do the second wash and leave for 3-5 minutes. That wash is important if you want perfection!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To those weary of staining any perfectly white showers/tubs/grouts - consider yourself warned! (it comes out but it can definitely be alarming at first!) All others - this is a pretty great product. The smell is classically Redken and smells delightful, and it has definitely worked well to help my color last longer without brassiness. I think it may be a bit heavier/not as clarifying as what I typically can get away with using, but my hair is definition smoother and fuller and softer when I use this. Overall, would definitely recommend to others (already have)! I'll totally reconsider a purchase once I finish these bottles!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used purple shampoo and conditioner before as a way to help extend the brightness of my blonde highlights, so I was looking forward to trying this.
The shampoo is a very deep purple that slightly tinted my hands at first, but thankfully washed off in the shower. The texture is smooth and it suds up really nicely. It rinses clean without any grease or weird residue, which is nice. I feel like it primes my hair really well for the conditioner. The only thing I didn't like is the fragrance - I was hoping for something floral and light and this reminds me of a traditional salon product…with a chemical type of scent.
