Redken Brews Cream Pomade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I received the Redken Brews Cream Pomade, I was a bit skeptical, the cream was thick, but not pasty or overly chemical. After shampooing, I applied a small amount into the palm of my hand and then applied it to my hair. My hair was easy to style, the rich pomade did not give my hair an unnatural gummy look. The Pomade gave my hair a rich luster and sheen which looked absolutely fabulous. Once I achieved the style I wanted, the Pomade gave my hair medium control and a natural finish. The scent was very pleasant and remained throughout the day. Just a small amount worked into dry or damp hair will give you the control you desire.

Ended up using double the normal stuff I use and the hold lasted for less than 2 hours. This was while I was sitting around inside. All I did was use it to smooth my hair down, my hair likes to stand up a little so I use product to keep it down. So I wasn't doing any crazy hair do either. The next time I put a glob in and it still only held for an hour or two. The last time I feel like I used a quarter of the container and it still didn't hold long. I do like that it has a very subtle scent to it.

I do not ever wear extreme styles, so I use it to tame my hair down and give it a little style in the front. This pomade does that without it looking super shiny, crunchy or wet. It says it has a low shine, and it's just that. Nothing too noticeable, but yet I feel just makes my hair look healthy. Not super shiny, yet a healthy look. Great medium hold and for the price point it can't be beat.

Since I've been using hair gel/pomade for years, I was blessed to be able to use different products: both American brands and Japanese, Korean beauty brands. To be honest, the quality of this pomade isn't as good as couple of top brands from Asia. It's leaves greasy look that's unnatural & my hair didn't look good at the end of the day. Unless the price point is competitive, I wouldn't purchase it over the other brands that I've been using for couple years.

I was very happy to find the Brews Cream Pomade by Redken. The medium hold of this pomade is perfect for his daily styling needs. The product has enough hold to let me style, adds a little body to my unfortunately thinning hair, but does not appear overdone. I like how it's lightly scented and not greasy once applied. My hair feels hydrated and does not have an unpleasant texture. I would definitely buy it again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well, I'm not that often pomade user but whenever I use I want to make sure that my hair is looks great. And, as I can say, I can achieve this with Reken! I tried shampoo and it works well for me, so I decided to give some other products a try as well. After using their shampoo and finish it with this pomade my hair looks awesome! I don't have much of it but it add some needed volume, as well as hold pretty well, nor for a long but that works for me. So far I'm very happy, will see how it works in long run.
