    Great formula

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. I've been using this curl cream for about 2 weeks now along with the curl refreshing mist from the same line and really love the results. It's got a light cream texture that soaks into my curls and fights frizz without weighing them down or making them look oily. A little goes a long way, my hair falls half way down my thigh in terms of length and I only need to use about a quarter sized pump. The jojoba oil and squalane hydrate while adding a touch of shine. My hair feels soft and smooth. It's nice having a product that makes my hair manageable quickly. Highly recommend!

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Easy to use and worked for me!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Redken Hydrating Curl Cream with Squalane & Jojoba oil works on my dry curls. You can use it on damp hair after a wash, but also on dry hair. I use it on dry hair the next day when my curls have been flattened from sleeping on them and the frizz is all over my head. My hair is curly, frizzy and has started switching to gray "horsehairs" which are horrible to tame. This curling cream can be used by rubbing it between fingers and working it into curls. It gave mine its shape and bounce back. I also used the cream very sparingly in the paws of my hand to push down on the frizz hairs standing up all around my head. Its subtle fresh scent is enjoyable.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Hydrating and Heavenly Scented Curl Cream!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm absolutely loving the hydrating Curl Cream! Not only does it smell amazing, but it also adds much-needed hydration to my hair without any sticky residue. As someone with wavy/curly hair, I appreciate that the formula isn't too thick, so it doesn't weigh down my curls. It's also fantastic for treated hair, leaving it feeling nourished and healthy. While it works well alone for enhancing curls, I've found that pairing it with the accompanying hair gel ensures my curls last even longer. Overall, I highly recommend this curl crème for anyone looking for beautifully defined curls with a delightful scent and hydrating feel!

    Yes, I recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved it, this moisturizing cream is super good. After washing my hair and detangling it, I applied the cream and combed it with my define brush and the result was super defined curls without frizz. It does a very good job of hydrating and softening the curls. I really like that it has jojoba oil which is very good for hydrating. The shape of my curls after two days still held their shape and the hair looked healthy. It does not dry out or damage the hair. It is of very good quality and I can say that it is one of the best I have tried. It has a soft fragrance that you can barely smell. Try it you won't be disappointed.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Hydrating but Sticky

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you struggle with dry, thirsty curls, this cream is a lifesaver! It deeply moisturizes and conditions my 4A/4B hair, leaving it incredibly soft and manageable. I appreciate how it helps define my curls without making them stiff or crunchy. My coils are happier and healthier! The downside is that it leaves a film on my hands even after washing and it does buildup in the hair pretty quickly. Note: I did use this as a trio and it is a fantastic choice for managing and styling 4A/4B hair. The mist is ideal for refreshing your style, the gel gives you perfect definition, and the cream keeps your coils happy and hydrated.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Works really well on damaged frizzy curls

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] was given this product in exchange for my opinion. I have fairly bleach damaged frizzy curls and it can be pretty hard to find a system that can control the frizz without being so heavy it weighs my curls down. I found this product to do a very good job of fighting the frizz without making my hair limp. I used the curl cream and the gel together and defused and the curls held for 3 days and I was able to revive them to a pretty frizz free state using a little water plus the curl refreshing mist. I also really appreciated that these products don't have much of a scent so they shouldn't aggravate allegies to scent.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon receiving the Hydrating Curl Cream I'm not going to lie, I was skeptical about the product.. I haven't used a curl cream that doesn't weigh my hair down and make it feel gross. Due to this I don't curl my hair much and my curl pattern has suffered. Anyways, I gave it a try and let me tell you it's a great product. The smell reminds me of a cherry chapstick type scent and I love it. The texture is on the lighter side and I love that because it didn't way my hair down while providing with hydration! And guess what.. NO STICKY GROSS FEELING! This product will now be in my curly hair arsenal. Perfect for the curly girls that don't have thick hair and need a lighter hydrating curl cream.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    AMAZING CREAM

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free for my honest review and man am I glad I did. I have a holy grail line now!! I have 3b natural frizzy curly hair. It's hard to find products that really work for me. That is until I tried the redkin curl line. I have been using this cream as a leave in conditioner. I rake, smooth then scrunch the product on to very wet hair. I let it dry for a few mins then I scrunch the sculpting curl gel in and I'm left with beautiful frizz free soft curls with no crunch. I will continue to use this line. I am beyond impressed which is very hard to believe as my hair is so temperamental lol. The cream on its own provides very light hold. But it's a game changer for me.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

      Bring back Curvaceous

I religiously used Redken Curvaceous products and was miffed that they discontinued the product, and I was hopeful reading some of the good result reviews on this new line - however it has not been a good time for my curls at all. I have been using the curl cream alongside the gel and It's caused my hair to weaken, dreadlock, frizz, become greasy, flat, GROSS. Where it's dreadlocked the hair has been so weak that trying to comb through the knots just rips it all straight out. Time to trial other products yet again :( Why do companies seem to discontinue products that actually work wonders?

No, I do not recommend this product.

Hi gem191, thanks for reaching out about the Hydrating Curl Cream. We're sorry to hear it wasn't a perfect match. As an alternative, we recommend Redken's Refreshing Curl Mist, a lightweight leave-in spray that refreshes, re-hydrates, and re-defines curls between washes. We hope you find it helpful!

      High quality curl cream!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was gifted this Redken Hydrating Curl Cream & it's been amazing to my dry, dehydrated 3B hair. I used it when my hair was both wet and dry and it works great either way. It doesn't weigh my hair down AT ALL. It has a pleasant, clean, almost like a light linen scent. It truly tames the frizz and helps keep my curls bouncy and full of life. You can brush your hair out without the mess because it's a cream. I've been using this regularly since I received it; and my curls are so vibrant and revitalized every time. I'd definitely recommend if you want healthy, beautiful, moisturized curls!

Not only does this product work wonders for my curls, but it smells amazing too! The scent is light and refreshing, and it lingers in my hair for days. The cream itself is very lightweight and doesn't leave any residue or buildup in my hair. It's easy to apply and a little goes a long way. Was disappointing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It can be a struggle finding good products that do what it says it is going to do when you have curly hair. I had high expectations using this cream. The consistency and feel seemed like it was going to be good. I part my hair into three sections as i normally do. I applied a good amount of cream to each section then styled. After my hair dried some, it became frizzy and frizzier as the day went on. I eventually through my hair in a bun because it felt out of control. I gave this cream 3 chances hoping it would get better. It did not. This cream is not for me.

No, I do not recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am honored to receive this product for free, in exchange for my honest review. Ok Redken. You want to get a girl in trouble. It have to be against the law to have these hydrated and defined curls. Squalane and jojoba oil are the key ingredients that helps moisturize the hair. The curls last up to 72 hours.?This creamy crack comes in an easily held bottle, that utilizes a pump. It's partially a clear bottle that is wrapped in a neat graphic, that shows the remaining contents of the bottle. Smells great. I highly recommend this product and will buy again

      Hydrated curls like never before!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the RedKen Hydrating Curl cream through Bzzagent for free to test out and review. For starters my hair is extremely long, so it's hard to get my curls to keep their curl due to the weight, but this cream has helped my curls like no other leave in product I've tried before. Other products have been too heavy on my hair and just make it look greasy. But the Redken curl cream dries out without leaving my hair heavy or greasy, it's almost like I'm not wearing any product on my hair, the scent that it leaves behind is pleasant, not too strong and lasts throughout the day. It's also helped control my frizz and makes the ends of my hair seem more hydrated and visibly less split ends, overall a great product that I'll definitely be purchasing when I run out.

      Yes, I recommend this product.

I'm really sorry to say that the new product you recommend to replace Curvaceous Ringlet Shape Perfecting Lotion 180 ml is not at all satisfactory, it leaves the hair heavy and dull Sorry not even close to Curvaceous Ringlet Shape Perfecting Lotion 180 ml I understand that innovating and experimenting with new things is important, but I'd like to tell you that this time you were wrong, and from the reviews it seems I'm not the only one who thinks so. Remember that sometimes admitting a mistake is a sign of wisdom.

No Longer a Fan of Redken

I have naturally wavy and curly hair. I've used Redken Curvaceous Ringlet Lotion for years and although I grew less enthusiastic with each change, I stood by the product. Redken made a huge mistake discontinuing the lotion for these curl creams and gels. In order to get the same outcome as the Ringlet lotion, you have to use the cream and the gel together, otherwise you get a lot of frizz and curls with less definition. Just look through the review pics posted here to see what I mean - lots of frizz when only the cream is used! These products are not only subpar, but more expensive, so to pay double for both the cream and the gel to use together is absurd! I'm now looking for other brands that are more affordable and won't discontinue their products as often. So frustrating!

No, I do not recommend this product.

      Beautiful curls

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried MANY curl creams over the years, and this one is a keeper. I have fine hair type 3C curls. What I like most about this cream is that it is lightweight and not sticky. I applied to wet hair and heat styled (no time to air dry) and got good volume with bouncy curls. The cream is more like a serum, so it applies nicely and is workable. The only down is that the cream did leak from the container when closed. It would be great if it was in a stand up bottle rather than a squeezy bottom standing.

      Yes, I recommend this product.

Good product but not my favorite

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, the directions on the package indicate the product should be applied to damp hair which anyone with curly hair knows that once your hair starts to dry it also starts to frizz, it did not work well when I followed the instructions. I then applied it my normal way, with wet hair straight out of the shower, worked better this way. I found that I used less of they hydrating cream than I do my normal product and received better results. The bottle says that this product provides 72 hour definition which I though was fantastic because I tend to wash my hair only a couple of times a week. This was not the case for me, I felt that it made my hair heavy and I hated to touch it because it felt greasy. I would rate the hydrating curl cream much higher if not for the greasiness.

No, I do not recommend this product.

      Amazing curl cream

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this curl cream in conjunction with the curl mist and curl gel. This was my favorite out of the three. It smells great without being overpowering with a soft floral scent. The cream left my hair feeling soft and looking lush while still enhancing the curl. Especially when used with the gel I noticed a huge difference in the smoothness of the curls. I also had a lot less frizz than normal. I will definitely be using this whenever I wear my hair curly and this will be a must have when I run out.

      Super hydrating and frizz protection

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am always on the lookout for a good hydrating cream which I'm sure you know is super important to curly girls. This one is a great fit! It went on super smooth and didn't feel sticky (which I hate in other products). In the extreme Florida heat and humidity, my hair only frizzed the slightest bit which is great since normally it would poof right up. It has a slight flower/powder smell to it which I don't love but it's so light that I don't mind it. I will definitely keep this in my rotation!

The hydrating curl cream is not a product I would purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Redken's hydrating curl cream made hair soft, a little too soft as my hair was prone to frizz & it did not define my curls. The hydrating cream also did not provide enough slip for detailing. The directions on the package also indicate the product should be applied to damp hair which anyone with curly hair knows that once your hair starts to dry it also starts to frizz. I applied the hydrating cream to my damp hair and also another time to my hair while wet with similar results.

No, I do not recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Where has this Hydrating Curl Cream been all of my life? I LOVED the effect it had on my curls once my hair dried. FINALLY my hair wasn't left sticky, crunchy, frizzy, or weighted down, after putting something on it. This cream not only gave my hair volume, but my curls were defined and even throughout my entire head. I will absolutely be purchasing this product over and over and over again. [Redken kindly gave me this Hydrating Curl Cream for free so that I could review it.]

Good substitute for Redken's Curvaceous Lotion

I've been a user of Redken's Curvaceous Ringlet Shape-Perfecting Lotion for years. It's a terrific product, and I was disappointed to learn that it was being discontinued. I tried the Hydrating Curl Cream, and was pleasantly surprised at the results. My hair curled like it does when I use Curvaceous lotion, and it was soft and felt natural. (So many curling creams leave my hair feeling gummy, which I hate). I still prefer Curvaceous, but this Curl Cream works very well.

I am always looking for the best and easiest products for my curly hair which is a ton of work. I was super excited to try this product. I applied this cream right after showering on soaking wet hair from root to tip, then applied the gel and diffused as normal. My curls were left bouncy, voluminous and soft, not crunchy. I am overjoyed with the result of this curl cream.

I've been using Curvaceous Ringlet since it came out. I tried the Hydrating Curl Cream as a replacement since my product was discontinued. I returned it to the store after once use. This product is not designed for people with soft hair. My hair felt disgusting; heavy, greasy and weighed down. It also made my neck and sides of face break out. Please bring back the Curvaceous line; it was perfect and so many people are asking for it back.

No, I do not recommend this product.

It's okay but not on it's own.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is a good curl cream but it didn't hold my curls the way I thought it would. It also did not work on it's own. It took a little bit of experimenting the curl cream with different products to find what worked for my hair. I've noticed using the acidic bonding curl leave in moisturizer and the curl cream made my hair too heavy and weighed down. I found pairing the curl cream and sculpting gel gave me the curl hold I was looking for.

      Yes, I recommend this product.

Thank you for your honest feedback on our curl cream. We understand your initial expectations for hold and appreciate you sharing your journey of experimenting to find the right combination. We're delighted to hear that pairing the curl cream with our sculpting gel delivered the curl hold you desired, and your insight about the acidic bonding curl leave-in moisturizer causing heaviness is valuable. Your detailed review helps us immensely, and we're grateful for your continued support!

THTIS CURL CREAM IS A MUST HAVE

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this product it to test it and i, super impress on how good this curl cream is. i was not expecting the result i got. i really love it and i would definitely buy it all over again This gel was perfect for my 4a curls. It left them soft, hydrated, and frizz-free without any soft of crunchy feeling. It also has a nice, light smell (nothing too overbearing) and comes in a large tube with plenty of product, so it'll last a while!

      Yes, I recommend this product.

      Complete letdown

Like many others who have reviewed, I am a long-time Ringlet user, along with many other Redken products. I purchased both the shampoo and conditioner in the Acidic Bonding Curls line (lackluster), along with the Hydrating Curl Cream, Sculpting Curl Gel, and the Refreshing Curl Mist (oily). I do not love any of these products and will not be purchasing them again. The first time I used the cream and gel, my hair felt heavy and oily so I reduced the amount of cream the following time (to no avail). My curls feel oily and weighed down. Not to mention, the frizz is absolutely unreal...I've never experienced anything like this. I hate to think I've wasted so much money on this entire line. I was really hoping for a comparable Ringlet replacement, but no such luck. I'll continue to search products from other brands *fingers crossed* Horrible decision, Redken!

No, I do not recommend this product.

      Heavy and Sticky product

This product is in no way comparable to the curling lotion. It leaves my curly, thin hair with a horrible sticky, heavy film and weighs it down. My hair ends up looking like it hasn't been washed in weeks. Bad choice Redken to discontinue a fabulous product and replace with a thick sticky cream that has none of the wonderful properties of the former product. Will be looking for another company to purchase a good curl lotion.

No, I do not recommend this product.

      Loved this curl cream

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Redken Hydrating Curl Cream worked excellently for my curls. Loved the pump, made it very easy to use. Just a pump or two and spread thru my curls to hydrate and define them. I used it on both wet hair and dry hair to help tame the frizz. Smells great and adds moisture with Squalane and Jojoba oil but doesn't leave hair greasy, just soft and bouncy curls. I received this product in exchange for writing a review.

      Yes, I recommend this product.

      Very moisturizing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have thick hair and was super excited to try this curl cream that I received for free in exchange for my HONEST review. It has a great smell that isn't overpowering. I have used this cream 4 times now and although I haven't noticed a huge difference from my previous curl products, the biggest change has definitely been how moisturizing this has made my hair feel! I love it so much. I will continue to use this!

      Yes, I recommend this product.

      Love this curl cream!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had very curl thick hair my whole life. I've always had to use multiple products after washing my hair for it to maintain frizz free shiny curls for the next couple days. I wash my hair 1 or 2x a week. This is my 3rd time using this curl cream and I'm obsessed. My curls love it. It hydrates, reduces frizz and give my curl a wonderful shine. It also smells fresh a clean like a salon style would.

      Yes, I recommend this product.

      So disappointed!

I have used Curvaceous for years. Oh, how i loved that product! I have naturally curly hair but the curls are not tight. Curvaceous made them look so good. I often got compliments- my curls looked like I'd had a light spiral perm. Not this stuff. It flattens my curls. I have those hairs that stick out for no reason that I call twigs. I will be looking for some other curling product. :(

No, I do not recommend this product.

Hi, We understand your disappointment with the new Redken Hydrating Curl Cream and how much you loved Curvaceous. It's disappointing when a favorite is discontinued. We appreciate you sharing your feedback, and we'll be sure to pass your comments along to the appropriate team. Good but not great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the product but could be better. My curls were defined when I first styled my hair, but some sections frizzed after fully drying. It also did a great job moisturizing my hair so no complaints there. I think I might use it more for moisture for a style than for a wash and go. Also has a slight scent but nothing unpleasant to me, just a thought for anyone who might be sensitive to smells.

      Yes, I recommend this product.
