Made with a Vitamin C formula, this system brightens hair that has dulled, darkened, or mattified due to dulling agents and pollution. HOW TO USE
Use as a complete regimen with Blondage High Bright System. Apply to wet hair, comb through and leave-in 5-10 minutes. After using, follow with Blondage High Bright Shampoo and Conditioner. Use entire Blondage High Bright system for an instantly brighter blonde in one use.
IMPORTANT: Blondage High Bright System should be used until desired brightness is reached. Once desired brightness is reached, stop usage of pre-treatment.

Not bright, just brassy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using this product several times I don't feel that it worked as advertised for my hair. I have dyed blonde hair that pulls more brassy after being colored & I use toner afterward to bring it to a cooler tone. This product stripped all the effects of the toner from my hair and made it look incredibly brassy. I didn't notice any increase in shine or any other positive effects. I'm giving it 2 stars rather than 1 because it does seem to work for some people but if you have similar hair to mine, buyer beware, it may not do what you expect it to do. Used in conjunction with the system there was no difference vs using the treatment spray alone.

Would give 0/5 for this one if I could. Not impressed at all. This stuff changed the colour of my natural hair? Didn’t think it was supposed to do that. The parts of my hair that were my natural (a nice, ashy dark blonde) have now turned a shade of orange? Brassiness and I don’t mix so I’m really upset by this. The product did nothing for the highlighted parts of my hair either. If anything my (used to be) white blonde highlights are now more brassy too. All around an epic fail. My hair looks like that one time I was 12 and sprayed peroxide in my hair… If you hate brassiness like me then stay far away. This is going to be an expensive fix at the salon. Thanks Redken.

No difference

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the idea of having a pretreatment for my hair but I did not notice any difference in the brightness of my color. The directions said to apply to damp hair and then leave on for several minutes. Then you were supposed to shampoo after leaving on so long. The scent was nice and not overpowering. The packaging was a little difficult to use because of having a spray pump and trying to spray it while my hands were wet. My hair is naturally blonde and not color treated so maybe that’s why I didn’t notice a difference in the brightness of my blonde. If you’re in the market for a new hair system, you could give it a try. Since I did not notice a difference, I probably would not purchase again.

beautiful blonde results

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] was hesitant at first since I haven't had luck in the past with purple treatments...however, this 3 step system is amazing!!! the entire 3 steps are done in the shower and takes about 15/20 mins each application. I read the instructions and used the system for 3 days straight and have achieved the blonde lift, and removed the brassiness, that I was looking for. now, it's going to be a once a month maintenance!! so excited that I get to extend my salon visits by a few weeks!!! thanks influenster for the complementary products, because testing and reviewing them have been a pleasure!!!

Now I’m glad I can try it from influenster and give it my honest review. I like that it is a professional line of hair care and it does deliver professional results. My hair is fine so I always struggle with them being frizzy and bc my hair is blond I also struggle with them being damaged and looking rather dead. This product helps to enhance my hairs elasticity shine and strength. I would totally recommend this line to all the blonds struggling with the same problems !

Kinda a pain in the butt

I will say I enjoy the product itself but the preparation is just more than I usually have time for. having to get your hair damp which is not something I ever do outside of the shower then having to apply the product then having to wait 5 to 10 minutes with wet hair before getting in the shower and rinsing it out is just not a step I have time for. I think the concept of the product is great and it smelled amazing but this is meant for someone who puts more effort into their hair care than I do.

Great Product

I felt it was easier to review these 3 products as a whole because I've been using them altogether and have gotten great results. I have blonde balayage hair and it's really need to be touched up. Since I've been using these products my blonde looks brighter and my hair feels so nice. I have tried a ton of different hair products and none of them have made my hair look and feel this good. I highly recommend it if you have blonde color treated hair!

It makes my hair feel so clean and soft and this product seals cuticles helping to get you even brighter by locking out the dullness. I love that it has vitamin C and is nourishment for my hair with great results. A new favorite that helps keep my blonde bright and my hair soft and healthy. Redken Blondage High Bright Pre-Treatment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My hair is natural no dye. I wasn’t sure if this would lighten my hair for that reason. The pre-treatment was a pain to do because the bottle did not spray well. I ended up just pumping some in my hand first and applying it that way. You have to leave it on for 5-10 minutes in damp hair before using the shampoo. The smell isn’t very pleasant. I used this a few times a week for about a month. My before photo is on the left and then the after is the close up on the right. It does look like it’s lightened up some strands.

The right bright

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Product is a little time consuming and needs to be used 5 to 10 minutes on damp hair before washing or getting into the shower. So not the most convenient product for a daily routine. It seems my light tone was maintained but I did not see a huge difference in color. The product is easy to use and packaging is average. The formula is thicker and had to be blended in after spraying. The fragrance is a traditional masculine smell very old spice fragrance that’s not necessarily my favorite fragrance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've taken a considerably long time to write this review as to give this product an honest chance after receiving it for free to test out. As with all of their hair care line, it didn't fail in the aroma department, it definitely has a good scent. I feel like it conditioned my hair well and helped the dullness of my far to mistreated highlights. My hair was easy to comb through and I was satisfied with this product. HOWEVER, I'm not sure if it will be a staple in my personal hair care line only because I'm either too busy or too lazy to spray the pretreatment on, wait, and then follow with the rest of the process. In my honest opinion the results weren't much better then my easy one step purple haircare products which doesn't at all justify the work that needs to be done to keep it up.

The products claims Blondage High Bright is formulated by Vitamin C + Brightening Care Complex, which lifts brightness of blondes or highlights. It also removes impurities that darken, dull and mattify blonde hair for brighter results. I am a natural blonde and my hair does sometimes need the blue shampoo/conditioner to offset brassiness, but I didn’t see any results from this particular pre treatment spray.

However, I was a little disappointed with their Blondage High Bright Treatment. I haven't had the issue of not liking the scent of any of the Redken products I've used in the past but I didn't like the way this smells at all. Luckily, the scent doesn't linger in your hair so I am happy about that. I also wasn't impressed by either the shampoo or conditioner and didnt really notice a difference in my hair.

Noticable changes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My hair is fine, but abundant, medium length, color treated to a light balayage blonde. I usually use a purple shampoo to tone between salon visits. I have had people ask if I got my hair done after using this just twice. They’ve literally told me it looks brighter than when I use purple shampoo. It’s a little inconvenient that you have to apply this to damp hair, but I got my hair wet in the shower, sprayed this in, shaved my legs, and then carried on with the rest of the treatment.

I also felt like my hair was stronger after using this system! I used the whole system including the pretreatment, shampoo, and conditioner. The smell wasn’t my favorite but it didn’t smell bad my any means. Great lather and wasn’t blue or purple like other shampoos meant to get rid of brass. Would definitely recommend to anyone with highlights or blonde hair!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product really does work. It makes your hair much brighter than it was before if you follow the directions and use their system as directed. I, however, would not purchase it. It smells EXTREMELY chemically and it won’t go away. I tried to use another conditioner in my hair afterwards to make the smell go away and it didn’t. I use another product that does the same thing, but doesn’t smell. While this does work, it definitely is not worth switching my routine for.

And it would be better if it was in a tub or bottle you can squeeze out an appropriate amount of product from. The spray nozzle made it a bit difficult to gauge how much I needed. Overall, I would definitely continue using this to keep my blonde bright. It's not overly pricey either so it's pretty easy to keep on hand.

Terrible Smell, great results

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved the way this set of products makes my hair feel, I can’t say that I noticed if it actually brightened my color treated hair, but it didn’t leave an annoying film like most color preserve products do. Unfortunately someone made the decision that all of these products should smell like cheap men’s cologne which is very off putting, I had to spray my hair with a very strong leave in conditioner to get it to smell better after using this.

Not bad, but I hate the spray bottle!

While I don’t have issue with spray bottles - it is hard to use them while I’m the shower or when wet. Specially if you are petite. I would use this after dampening my hair in the shower. The spray nozzle makes it hard to distribute evenly throughout the hair. I spray in my hair to help distribute more evenly. Overall I do like this product though and may repurchase when I run out.

It's ok...

Now, let's continue with the ok; the pump is good but sometimes I feel like it's easier to just pump the product in my hands and apply it that way. Now the not so good; having to wet my hair and then leave the product on for about 15 minutes can get a little annoying. The result were ok, im not sure if it intensified my blond but it did make the hair look more alive!

I tried the shampoo and conditioner first then next wash tried it with the pretreatment. I did notice my hair was a little softer after using the pretreatment. I could see this being good for someone with dry frizzy hair. I liked spraying it in my hands then rubbing through my hair rather than spraying directly in my hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I'm a little confused about this product. I'm not sure exactly what it does. It's a little inconvenient to use, because you are supposed to apply it to damp hair and then let it sit for 5-10 minutes. so you can't really use it in the shower, unless you plan on being in there for a long time.
Anyway, I've been using it with the other Redken products and my hair looks and feels good. So I guess whatever it is, it is good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don’t wash my hair every day so I feel like this is perfect for my hair I tried it and it is really good I applied it all over my hair left on for over 30 min it I know it’s says 10 min wash it off and my hair has been super soft ever since it’s been over 3 days I can get use too this treatment I also like how much the product actually has and the packaging is nice I would definitely recommend it and I will repurchase it!

We carry unite, R&Co and sacahajuan. This is the best blonde shampoo I’ve tried to date. My color was so much brighter and I loved the smell. Very impressed, and might just have to purchase a brand we don’t carry! Sorry boss, redken won my heart with this one! This and shades eq ;)

Other than that the product smells great, makes my hair soft and I truly believe it’s helped brighten my blonde hair! The first picture I attached is before and the next ones are after pics with the second before the first use and the following are after multiple uses.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the sound and theory of this pre-treatment, but it is hard to spray your hair in the shower or bath. I struggle with trying to get it to work upside down or the weird angles I have to hold the bottle to squirt my hair. I would recommend a creme or foam application instead. I think it's working though. I definitely have a shine and blonder hair after using this and the corresponding shampoo and conditioner.

I usually have lighter blonde hair and my roots have grown out quite a bit. Even after the first day I could see a slight difference in the blonde coming out after washing and conditioning with this product. Then I tried the treatment spray and wow just wow good job redken this stuff is awesome!

I was thinking this was an after washing your hair “leave on” treatment, but it goes on wet hair first and then you add the shampoo to it after letting it sit on your hair a bit. I like this product, but I wish it sprayed out more mist like as opposed to spraying in one straight line. It’s hard to tell if I have my hair covered enough with the product.

i remember spraying it and laying out in the sun as a teenager and getting oddly textured and orange-y hair afterwards.
please tell me this is not redken’s take on that!
i can see how as a maintenance piece, it may keep light blondes blonde by simply removing surface buildup.
but i’m not sure what exactly redken means by brightener… does it lighten? is it maintenance? is it a tone thing? what is a brightening complex exactly?
i have natural lv2 hair that is a ton of upkeep to maintain at a lv 7 base 10 highlights, so strand tested. will likely have to use this for a whole month or so to be able to write a review on performance.
as for the smell of this particular spray? YIKESSSSS also this is not the right bottle for an even and continuous distribution of product, esp for folks with long or textured hair.

Redken Pretreatment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am still not sure how to feel about this product. First of all, I am not a fan of the “leave-in for 10 minutes in wet hair before washing” concept. For me it is annoying and time consuming specially since the results are not mindblowing. I also am not a fan of the spray pump. I was not able to spread it in my hair effectively and I ended up just spraying it in my hands and then spreading it (which defeats the purpose of the applicator). I did notice a small difference when using this product. My hair were easier to brush, they looked smoother and overall slightly better. Even without using any tools and just letting my hair air dry. I just wish Redken was able deliver these better results via simply the shampoo and conditioner or even hair mask. I wouldn’t even my pre-shampoo treatment in DRY hair when I’d just spray it, walked around and then hopped in the shower and continue with shampooing.

It brightens your blonde, treats your hair and just makes and feels amazingB i have been bleaching my hair for years and im so lucky and happy to have this product!!! I love it! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to read the directions on this product, i never used a pretreatment before. I used it before shampooing, spray hair with pretreatment, let it sit for atleast 10 minutes and then shampoo and condition. I really liked the brighter look this gave my hair. This pretreatment worked with the Redkin blondage system conditioner to make my hair really soft and shiny. I loved the scent.

Love the idea, not the execution

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While us blonde friends love to keep our hair fresh, bright and beautiful, this product just didn’t deliver. First the packaging is difficult when you already have to wet your hair, second it’s time consuming. Then after use it felt like I needed a deep conditioning treatment to counter the drying effect- which would just be more time. Skip it and try the other products in the line.

I’m on day 5 since I have washed my hair with sample and there is no hair grease. My hair is usually supper frizzy and it looks like I got a blow out done. My blonde is brighter. I’m gonna go splurge and by the set. My hair and heart say thank you but my bank account says please don’t!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Usually when I see any kind of "pre-treatment" I automatically think it's none sense, but this one is AMAZING! It truly helps to lighten the blonde in my hair, alongside the shampoo and conditioner; while also helping to soften my hair so beautifully. If I had one thing to complain about, it's the packaging, it's not awful but I wish it was a bit easier to apply it to the hair.
