All Soft Mega Curls Shampoo

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shampoo adds moisture to your hair without stripping it too bad, I love how it left my hair feeling. I have a sensitive scalp I noticed after using it for about a week and a half that I didn't have any sort of breakouts or issues with my scalp. I also have really thick hair and it's natural so it takes a lot of product even with shampoos and conditioners to get the desired results that the products promise. However with the shampoo it literally takes just a quarter size in the palm of my hand and I get a really nice lather out of it so for the price I feel like you're getting enough product. Overall I would definitely get this shampoo again I enjoyed using it and it definitely made my hair easier to work with after wash days.

The Redken All Soft Mega Moisturizing Shampoo is a gentle cleansing shampoo, that provides intense hydration, improves manageability and leaves My hair with a softer, silkier finish! I love how the shampoo is fragranced with a warm vanilla and coconut scent that makes My hair smell incredible! I have fine, thin, oily/dry, damaged, somewhat curly hair (when I apply products, like moose or gel and scrunch My hair). The only downside that I've noticed with this shampoo for me, is that I have to wash My hair every 48 hours do to My hair looking oily. I do recommend this shampoo for those who have severely dry, curly/coily medium to thick hair types.

I was seriously at my wits end. My hair had turned into this dry, tangled mess. I tried everything else Hoping to avoid paying for expensive products, but they are quality and absolutely worth every penny! You don’t need as much, they smell amazing and in ONE was I saw a remarkable difference. So happy with the improvement in my hair! The pictures don’t do it justice. The before I have detangler, creams and oils. After nothing but the mega curls shampoo, conditioner and leave in. I finger combed my curls and still soft and not too frizzy! One wash!!

I am sooo disappointed that Redken has changed the formula! I have been a loyal customer for 10+ years! I had hoped this was merely a marketing renaming…..NOPE! The shampoo formula for All Soft Mega has completely changed. It is unbelievably drying, tangling, and frizz-causing…….The VERY thing they claim to fix! Ugh! PLEASE bring back the original thick, creamy, shiny formula! The only positive is that so far the conditioner and hydramelt leave-in have not changed……BUT, they just can NOT undue the damage caused by the shampoo. : (

I initially used about 2 tablespoons of the shampoo to start but the lather was so great that I didn't need to use any more. It cleaned my hair and scalp very well, granted I didn't have much buildup. Also, as I rinsed the shampoo out my hair didn't feel dry or stringy. Instead, my hair felt soft but not weighed down. This shampoo really surprised me because you don't need much and it actually makes your hair feel soft. I will definitely stick to this collection of Redken.

I have used this for 2 hair wash days and I have already noticed a difference in how soft my hair feels, I don't feel the shampoo build up on my scalp that I have been struggling with for so long. Which has allowed me to keep my hair down more often. I love the natural ingredients and it smells like coconut which is my favorite. My husband loves the scent as well. I highly recommend and will be purchasing when this is finished

The Redken All soft Mega Curls Shampoo is similar to the original all soft line but specifically formulated to hydrate curls and add bouncy shine. I found this product to meet this expectation and cleanse my hair without stripping natural oils or drying it out and loved the warm toasted vanilla coconut scent. The formulation didn't weight down my hair or cause it to be oily quicker so I really enjoyed using it and would recommend to fellow curly/wavy haired people.

The shampoo lathers fairly well, I don't see as much foam or bubbles compared to other shampoo, not bad in fact its geared for curly hair which is naturally drier so it makes sense why any extra, stripping ingredients would be excluded. The scent is your standard clean shampoo scent, it leaves the hair feeling nice and clean without feeling dry or stripped. My hair has been noticeably softer and shiny and the frizz on my husbands hair has been cut down immensely

I do NOT like changing up my shampoo due to having curly hair that dries out if I look at it wrong. I've previously used the regular all soft line and wasn't impressed. This shampoo is different. it doesn't dry out my hair but also doesn't leave it feeling weighed down and gross like other moisturizing products do. I've been wearing my hair down almost every day since receiving this line and have no plans to stop.

It makes my curls super soft, more defined and with way less frizz. It smells really nice. I never used Redken before, but now I'm a fan of the brand. This shampoo is luxuriously rich and creamy. A lot of other products tend to dry my curls out and weight them down. This shampoo is amazing for my hair. The shampoo lathers really well and you only need a small dollop even for my thick hair. The shampoo makes my hair so soft and manageable. Makes styling my curls so much easier. They are lighter, bouncier, and just overall more healthy looking//feeling.

There's a few ingredients in here that does not work for my hair & scalp. It made my scalp really dry & also had a weird film to it no matter how many times I rinsed. I wish they take some of the unhealthy ingredients out, I believe it would leave better results. It did smell nice though but I'm more concerned about the results than the smell of a product.

I've been using this now for about 3 days and every day I notice more and more healthier looking hair. The bounce is unbelievable. My curls don't jest become frizzy and go all over the place. The consistency is thick and rich and creamy. I used this shampoo consistently for a while and I saw a major improvement in my hair. It had more body and volume and way less frizz. I inspected the container to see if it was sulfate free, and while it is, it's not on the bottle anywhere. Since I was sent this to test, I went to google and confirmed it is, so I just needed to use more water - would have that on the bottle. Outside of that, the product worked well and left my scalp feeling clean, it also has a great scent.

I will admit I straighten my hair a lot but I do have wavy to curly hair. So when I want to wear it curly I use this. It actually helps define the curls. It moisturizes my hair and helps me get better waves and curls. I would definitely suggest using it with the conditioner and leave in conditioner cream.

I'm really picky about my hair products and try to use as much naturals/organics as possible. This shampoo felt great while in hair and afterwards. A fair dollop yields reasonable foaminess and suds. The shampoo was a Very light weight shampoo, and it washed out super easy, my hair kinda felt a little rough, the conditioner felt very greasy, and heavy, it took forever to wash out of my hair, my hair felt super heavy and was so tangled i couldn't manage it! I then put the Leave in treatment in, it was a heavy leave in and very very greasy, when I poured it out of the tube it was a very oily cream you can tell it wasnt supposed to be like that it was as though you had to shake it and mix it good.... My hair was very frizzy, poofy, tangled with knotts, it flattened my hair from curly to light waves but looked awful, my hair felt coarse, it took 24 minutes to comb through my hair, i rewashed my hair with my regular shampoo and conditioner and it felt normal again! I didn't like this set at all, redken is a good brand but I do not like the curls set...

While using the shampoo, I noticed that I had to use a little more shampoo than I usually would to get a lather. I have very coily (yet fine) hair so that I could have been the reason. However, I feel like when you use this shampoo along with the conditioner, it made all the difference. My hair was very soft, clean, and moisturized.
