I think I love this stuff

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think I love this stuff. I have a 2c/3a curl pattern without product and can get closer to a 3a with good stuff. This set of acidic bonding curls shampoo and conditioner then leave in treatment plus my usual curl mousse leaves me with lovely looking 3a curls. I love the smell. A little sweet and kind of fruity but in the way over powering. Just really lovely and fresh. I've used the entire set for about a week before reading the review. By Thursday a co worker in my office asked me what I'd been using on my hair and told me my curls were looking so good and smooth! These products seem to really help the curl pattern and taming frizz!

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Love this shampoo

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the Redken aside's binding curls shampoo as instructed on the bottle. First, I loved the smell of this shampoo and how rich it lathered when using. The shampoo restored the shine and curl patterns in my hair after each use. I workout 4-5 times a week , so I wash my hair after each session. Using the shampoo constantly within a week help with keeping my hair hydrated which I loved the most, Great shampoo and the Redken brand will definitely become one of my hair products in the future. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to try a great product BzzAgent. I have recommended this product to others in my family as well.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    This Shampoo Works Great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free from Redken in exchange for my review of the product. I really enjoyed the benefits this shampoo gave my hair. My curls were more defined with less frizz than my normal routine. My hair felt healthy and light, and even on the second day, I did not experience any flaking from my scalp. Typically, I will start to see scalp flakes only a few hours after washing my hair and throughout the day, but this product cleans my scalp thoroughly and gently. I recommend this product to those who may struggle with achieving defined and strong curls, or those attempting to better define their curl pattern.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Hair Improving

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shampoo has a nice mellow scent that is uplifting to my senses. It's light, doesn't weigh my hair down, and has a nice lather. My hair is a little damaged, super dry and dull, lacking curl definition, frizzy, and breaking off a lot. I've tried a lot of other brands that help, but not completely. This means the problems still exist. Now I've had the opportunity to try Redkens acidic bonding curls shampoo, and so far, after using it twice, I have seen some real improvement. For starters, my hair doesn't seem as weak as it was before use. My scalp isn't as dry, and I'm starting to see the texture of my hair improve.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Nice clean feel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to BzzAgent and Redken, I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. I was pleasantly surprised by the scent of The Redken acidic bonding curls silicone-free shampoo. My hair is shoulder length and using a quarter size amount, gets a great lather and it rinsesout very easily. I have been using this shampoo for almost a week and compared to other brands, my hair no longer feels weighted down by heavy chemicals, which is a huge plus for curly hair. Although I don't know the cost of buying this product, it would be in my benefit, or the benefit of anyone with curly hair, to buy it!

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    A MUST BUY!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After trying numerous products for my curly hair, I've finally stumbled upon a gem – Redken's Acidic Bonding Curls Shampoo. This shampoo is a game-changer for anyone with damaged, processed curls or coils. From the first use, I noticed a significant improvement in my hair's texture and elasticity. The shampoo is silicone-free and sulfate-free, which means it gently cleanses without stripping away natural oils. It's evident that Redken has put thought into their formula, as it not only removes build-up but also works to repair and strengthen hair from the inside out. I would highly recommend it to anyone on a quest for healthier, more vibrant curl to purchase this entire set!

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Gave me soft, shiny curls that lasted!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] *I have received this product free as part of a promotional offer* I took 5-6 days of use before writing my review because sometimes products work great initially on my curly hair before drying them out after a few days. Overall, I really like this shampoo! The smell is a fresh, kind of citrusy scent. It has yet to dry my curls out, and I've noticed great curl definition when combined with the conditioner and treatment set. My mom even commented on how curly my hair had gotten the morning after I used these products together. I will definitely recommend to my friends with curly hair that's on the dryer side!

    Yes, I recommend this product.

A little goes a long way

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For reference, I am multicultural, mostly Puerto Rican, Italian, a native American. I have Extremely thick, courser textured and curly/very curly hair. It takes a lot for water to even penetrate my hair fully and sometimes it takes a lot of product for me to get a full lather of shampoo, but I was really pleasantly surprised. I started with just over a quarter size amount of product and it was way more than enough I got a very nice lather That moved through my hair Extremely well. The sent was light and fresh not overwhelming or overpowering. I have to say being a person who buys other brands of salon air care I could really feel the difference, Redken really has me sold on this!

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Finally! A bonding repair line for curls

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product free from Redken in exchange for my honest review. I was excited to hop on the 'bonding repair' band wagon, but using a haircare line specifically for curls. I have been trying to gradually adapt more curly girl method approved products, and I love that this is silicone free. One thing I noticed when using the shampoo is how soft it felt in my hair and after. Shampoos tend to leave my hair on the drier side and in dire need of conditioner afterwards, but I didn't experience that with this shampoo. Overall, I can say my curls look more defined, are less frizzy, and feel softer and less damaged since I started using this shampoo. I will be purchasing a second bottle!

      Yes, I recommend this product.

      Total Hair Game Changer!

This just may be my new favorite shampoo and conditioner combo. Before I started using these, I used to FIGHT with my hair every single wash day. I genuinely believe that my hair just couldn't tolerate shampoo. I was really going through with my hair: dryness, crazy frizz, tangles that made me weep, and breakage. I just couldn't figure out what my hair wanted/needed. It was beyond frustrating! I found a young lady on social media who not only helped me understand my hair, but referred these products to me, and I just say they have been a total gamechanger in my entire hair routine! Where I used to dread wash days, I now ENJOY them! My hair is really thriving since incorporating these products!

      Yes, I recommend this product.

      Clean and soft

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shampoo is so hydrating I thought I fist picked up the conditioner when I used it! I loved the way it lathered and felt like it was cleaning my hair and not stripping it of natural oils. I used twice and instantly felt my hair get healthier after use. The bottle does say that there is Alpha Hydroxide in this so I would not recommend to use everyday as it can make your skin sensitive to sunlight. Also, you shouldn't use bonding products everyday, but once a week or a month and this will be great. Other than that, this is a great shampoo and it smells great too!

      Yes, I recommend this product.

      Great for Curly Colored Hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have mid back length, thick, coarse, colored 2c hair that is VERY frizz prone and dry. Pros: it smells fantastic, makes my hair feel moisturized/hydrated, hair feels stronger, I've noticed less breakage; it looks less frizzy (at first) Cons: I'm not sure which part of this trio (shampoo, conditioner, or leave in) is making my hair weighed down and greasy (my suspicion is the leave in); also, while my hair is less frizzy initially, when I go to brush it, it is MUCH frizzier and feels significantly thicker/coarser; my hair does not feel as soft anymore.

      Yes, I recommend this product.

      Great shampoo for curly folks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shampoo worked really well for my type 2C-3A curly-wavy locks. I've used Redken in the past (the All Soft line) and absolutely loved what it did for my hair, back when I wore it straight. This line did not disappoint! My curls were nourished and well-hydrated, and I love that it left a very faint smell (kind of floral) that wasn't overpowering. I LOVE that it is silicone and paraben-free; both of those additives have damaged and weighed my hair down in the past. I noticed some parts of my hair that weren't as curly as the rest had their curl pattern restored after using this shampoo 3 times. I did find that my scalp was a bit drier than normal after using this shampoo, but it may also be the weather that affected my scalp.

      Yes, I recommend this product.

Nice product, but too soon to tell...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having unruly curls and daily hair loss (thank goodness I have A LOT of hair!!), I was pleased to try this complimentary shampoo from Redken that I received through the BzzAgent program. The shampoo seems to be highly concentrated (a little goes a long way) and lathers nicely. A bottle should last a while, since only a small amount is needed for each wash. I really like the light, fresh, citrusy scent as well. Unfortunately though, I have not noticed any decrease in the amount of hair loss that I experience daily (though I've only used the product a few times). I tend to wash my hair every 3 days, so perhaps over an extended time period, I'll notice a positive change. I'm hopeful and will continue using the product until it runs out.

      Yes, I recommend this product.

Love the results I got from this!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product as part of a promotion, in exchange for my honest review.   I am quite particular with what I use on my hair. When I first tried the shampoo, I was concerned my hair would feel stripped of all healthy oils, but that concern was completely unfounded. My hair scalp felt clean, but not stripped, and it was exceedingly soft.   After just one use, I noticed my hair was smoother and had an incontrovertibly greater shine than it did previously. I am eager to continue use of this product line and see what more improvements will arise.

      Yes, I recommend this product.

Average shampoo for my 4C Black hair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 1. How do these products compare to others you've tried? This line's shampoo effectively cleanses without overly stripping my hair, unlike some other products I've used. 2. What are the benefits of owning these products? After multiple uses, I haven't noticed significant benefits beyond basic cleansing. This shampoo seems average for my 4C Black hair. 3. Would you purchase these products? If the price is right, I might consider it, especially if I see improvements with continued use of the entire line. 4. Would you recommend these products to friends or family? I would recommend giving it a try, particularly if it suits their hair type and needs, and if the price is reasonable. However, I can't guarantee the same results for everyone.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Excellent product for my unruly curls!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product free for an honest review. My first thought upon flipping the lid of this bottle was that the scent was very nice, it has a subtle fruity scent, but not overpowering. I really like it, it smells very clean. My hair is very dry and frizzy and is even difficult to get shampoo to lather. I had no trouble with this Redken Acidic Curls Bonding Shampoo. My hair lathered up very nicely, and felt very clean when I rinsed it. I immediately followed with the same line of the conditioner and leave-in conditioner and these three products left my hair feeling very clean and light, but not dry and frizzy like usual. My curl pattern is also better! Definitely recommend trying this if you have dry, unruly/frizzy curls!

      Made my hair FALL OUT!!

I'm in tears writing this because this shampoo and conditioner has caused my hair to fall out so bad that you can actually see my scalp! And i know im not the only one .. I found out this was the cause of my hair loss because there's a bunch of comments on reddit and in other redken reviews about people losing hair at alarming rates. I can't even hide or cover the hair loss .. and I only used this maybe once or twice a week but each time I lost hand fuls of hair! It's going to take months to grow my hair back.. IF it grows back! 😭😫

No, I do not recommend this product.

      Repair and Restore your Curls

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this once a week as part of the full system (conditioner and leave-in.) It's a heavy-duty shampoo with a light scent, which is nice. It gets excellent lather, which can be hard to find in curly-girl-friendly shampoos. It doesn't leave hair with the plastic feeling some protein-rich shampoos do, but it does an excellent job of ridding of build up and strengthening the hair from root to ends. Again, I really like the smell of it as well. I wouldn't use this daily, but it is part of my overall haircare and healthy hair journey.

      Yes, I recommend this product.

I'm not sure if I would use this for every day use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was asked to do a free sample of the Ionic bonding product and I have used Redken Curvaceous product before. On my first shampoo, conditioning, and leave in treatment. I really liked it! I had coworkers tell me that my hair looked very healthy and not dry Created nice waves. I don't wash my hair every day so when I used all the products again I didn't get as much of the effect that I got before. When I used it again for a third time, my hair looked flat and built up. I would use this product again, but not on a daily basis.

This replaces my Olaplex no 3

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so excited that I was chosen to try the Redken acidic bonding shampoo. Firstly let me say this shampoo is a miracle worker it left my hair feeling clean but not stripped. I could feel with the shampoo alone there was such an awesome difference in in the overall feel. My hair wasn't knotted like with other shampoo and with the acidic bonding conditioner and leave in treatment, my curly dry, coarse hair has never felt as soft and smooth not even my old go to Olaplex no 3 leaves my hair feeling and looking this good.

      New Favorite Shampoo

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Redken Acidic Bonding Curl Shampoo from PINCHme to try and I'm so glad that I did because it has been a game changer. My hair along with being naturally curly is also extremely thick and I have a hard time finding products that can help tame the frizzy ends but this Shampoo really does and my hair feels softer even before applying conditioner and my hair overall feels healthier sine I've started using it. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who has curly hair and I'll be purchasing it from now on.

      A TRIPLE THREAT !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried the Acidic Bonding Curls trio and was blown away by the results! The shampoo cleansed my curls gently, leaving them feeling soft and bouncy. The conditioner provided much-needed hydration without weighing my curls down, and the treatment sealed the deal, enhancing curl definition and reducing frizz. Plus, the acidic formula helped maintain the pH balance of my hair, ensuring long-lasting results. Overall, I highly recommend this trio for anyone looking to enhance and maintain their curly locks!

This will be a repeat purchase!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So, I did get a free sample of the Acidic Bonding Curls Shampoo so that I would be able to submit a review. I always find myself searching for curly hair products that enhance the curls--and I think Redken does a great job. My stylist uses Redken, so I was already planning to love the shampoo. The shampoo is thick, but not so much that it doesn't squeeze out of the bottle. It is sudsy--I know some people are on the fence about suds, but I'm not. I needs suds. It does rinse of nicely and doesn't leave that residue on my hair. But you do need to follow it up with a conditioner treatment or hair mask. I don't have any negative comments about the shampoo, and I REALLY loved the final outcome after using the Redken Leave in Conditioner on. My hair was bouncy and soft and fresh!

      Yes, I recommend this product.

      Best Shampoo for Curls!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 3c curls and put highlights / lowlights in 3-4 times a year. I had been using the standard ABC line and was so excited that something specifically for curls came out. This shampoo gives a great lather but does not strip at all. I wash my hair up to 4 times a week due to my exercise routine and this has retained moisture and shine despite that frequent washing. This is HG status! I received this product for free to review, but will re-purchase on my own as soon as it is out.

      Yes, I recommend this product.

      Nice Shampoo

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this shampoo as part of a promotion. I have fine curls and a dry scalp. I didn't find this to be irritating on my scalp at all. To be honest, I didn't love the strong scent, but that's a personal preference. Cleaned my hair well. Didn't seem to strip or dry it out. I even tried it on a day that I blew out my hair and it felt good. Took out all of the product build up after my niece went crazy playing salon. Would try again, might have to purchase the conditioner too.

      Yes, I recommend this product.

      Great product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks Redkin for providing this sample in exchange for my honest review. This shampoo is great it has a light citrus like scent. The scent reminded me of a light grapefruit scent. The first time I used this product my scalp felt tingly. At first I was worried it was a reaction, but I seemed to get used to it. Perhaps it's the active ingredients? As a curly girl, I feel these products keep my curls "fresh" longer and I noticed an improved appearance in shine of my curls.

      Yes, I recommend this product.

I would buy this shampoo over and over again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this shampoo. It has a fantastic, fruity scent. With one use, I was able to see my curl pattern return. It got even better with a second use. My only issue is that the directions say that the shampoo's ingredients may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and sunburn. The bottle says to wear protective clothing and limit sun exposure while using the shampoo and for a week afterwards. So, I would recommend washing your hair in the sink and wearing a hat.

      great for curls and scalp

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tried this shampoo with the conditioner and leave in for my curly hair. Definitely enjoyed the wash -- hair and scalp felt very clean after shampooing. Scalp was less oily after days 1/2, and overall curl pattern was springier. the AHA (as noted on the package) did make me more susceptible to a light sunburn on my shoulders and chest. Didn't notice hair seeming especially softer or smoother with this shampoo, and actually needed more frizz control with the set, overall.

      Yes, I recommend this product.

      Decent shampoo

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a decent shampoo that is a must double wash. When u first apply the shampoo to dirty hair, it doesn't get sudsy or feel like it's cleaning much. You have to rinse the first wash out and apply shampoo for the second time in order for it to feel like its cleaning your hair clean. On the second wash your shampoo will get very sudsy. It does leave hair clean after second wash and it does not dry out your scalp. Shampoo has a really good citrusy, sweet smell.

      Love and recommend the set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shampoo made my hair feel clean, which is super important to me but it also feels so moisturized. My curls are bouncy and light with tons of volume. The conditioner glided through my hair like silk and made it look like it as well. The leave-in treatment is also a winner, it kept my hair frizz free and shiny for days. I washed my hair on Friday and it still looks amazing on Monday. A little pricey but definitely worth it as I find most Redken products to be.

      Yes, I recommend this product.

Brought my curls back to life

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although I received this product free for review this is my honest opinion, after having a relaxer on my hair about a year ago my hair has just never been the same. After using this product my curls came back almost as beautiful as they were before I had gotten a relaxer and they haven't matted up in a day like my original curls did. I'm obsessed with this product and can't wait to share it with all my friends and family especially my mom who is a hair stylist.

      Yes, I recommend this product.

      Clean Curls

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free from Redken in exchange for writing the review. Redken acidic bonding curls shampoo came in a 10.1 FL OZ/300 ML bottle with flip top lid. This shampoo is silicone-free which is great for color treated hair. The shampoo is easy to dispense from the bottle, has a sweet scent and lathers really well. I felt like a small amount of the shampoo went a long way as far as lathering. After washing my hair and scalp felt really clean.

      Yes, I recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have long naturally curly hair that I highlight. I tried the Redken Acidic Bonding Curls line and in love. I've used a ton of Redken products over the past couple of years and am loving their brand. The shampoo is moisturizing and I could really tell a difference in my curl pattern after using. I also used the conditioner and leave in treatment. I could tell a noticeable difference in frizz. You won't go wrong using this like of Acidic Bonding for curls.

      Acidic Bonding for the win

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone who has always struggled with my curls but also has an allergy to the preservatives in most shampoos, I am always on the lookout for a new product line to try out. In comes BzzAgent, who sent me a sample of this project to try out. I could not be happier with how clean my hair felt within the first wash. It was a bit of a change having to use less product than usual but I think Redkin has a new believer after trying out the Acidic Bonding line.

      Yes, I recommend this product.

      Ahh-mazzing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn't sure how this formula would perform on my 3c/4a curls as I tend to stop with one brand; however, I am so pleased with the outcome of trying this shampoo! It feels very gentle on my hair and reminds me of a hair serum. It's very lightweight yet effectively removes product from my scalp. It also lives up to its claim to restore curls. My hair tends to be very dry and this formula did not strip my hair but left it thoroughly cleansed and nourished.

      Yes, I recommend this product.

Cannot live a day without this product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product TRANSFORMED my hair. For some context, my hair is curly, super dry and damaged and has been bleached several times. Essentially, it is dead. A few days prior to trying out this line, I got in a hot tub and after, my hair was left a stringy, gummy mess. I thought that was the end, was even thinking of going back to my natural hair color because I thought the damage was irreversible. My curls wouldn't form, my hair was dull, overall horrible. Trying out this product changed my life. I received this product and decided to give it a shot. IMMEDIATELY I felt a huge difference. It was as if my hair was transformed to its original state. There was not a split end in sight and it felt so soft. My curls immediately bounced right back up and my world was transformed. If you have curly, dry or damaged hair, you absolutely need this.

      Yes, I recommend this product.

I would buy this product again and again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shampoo is very consistent not watery at all. You don't need a lot of shampoo a lil bit goes a long way.. I was impressed of how good it washed my scalp. I have trouble removing residue from my scalp and other shampoo's fail to do that. With this shampoo you feel your scalp clean. Instantly I notice how soft my hair was feeling. I would recommend this to a friend that has curly hair. (Got this product for free in exchange for writing a review)

      Yes, I recommend this product.
