A Great Addition to my Curly Routine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was provided this product for free from Redken in exchange for my honest review of the product. This conditioner has a great texture for curly hair right out of the bottle. The conditioner is thick but does not weigh hair down. It instead provides moisture and strengthens curls. After using this product, my hair felt hydrated but not weighed down. It left my hair feeling soft with minimal frizz. A little bit of this product goes a long way, even while washing my hair, I saw my curl pattern begin to form right before my eyes. I usually have to take time to ensure my curls form properly or they will be flat, but no longer thanks to this product!

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Didnt I work well with my 3c/4a curls

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When using the conditioner directly after using the very clarifying shampoo, I expected my hair to respond to conditioner with slip and shine while detangling, however, it didn't work as I would've imagined. The conditioner was very thick and did not melt into the strands of my hair, it's sat on top of my hair for a long time until I used a denman brush to penetrate the strands. It took a while for the conditioner to soften my hair, which to me was a downside. It took longer than usual to detangle after my clarifying wash. This may be a conditioner for softer hair types. The product smelled very good, but could be overpowering for some.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    A MUST BUY!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone with naturally curly hair, I'm always on the lookout for products that promise to tame frizz and enhance my curls. Redken's Acidic Bonding Curls Conditioner has been a revelation for my hair care routine. From the first application, I could feel the difference in my hair's texture. The conditioner has a rich, creamy consistency that spreads easily through the hair, ensuring every strand is coated. It's infused with citric acid, which works to reinforce weakened bonds in the hair, making it ideal for those with damaged or processed curls.I would highly recommend it to anyone on a quest for healthier, more vibrant curls.

Great conditioner for heat damaged curls

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have very frizzy dry curly hair that is damaged from heat and hair dye. I normally straighten out my hair and that affects the curl pattern. After using the acidic bonding shampoo from this line I applied the conditioner. The conditioner has a great consistency and felt nice and slippery on my hair. I left it on for a about 10 minutes and my hair was very soft and easy to detangle. I noticed less shedding since the comb was able to glide through easily. My curls were bouncy and more defined with noticeable less frizz. Thank you Redken for sending me this conditioner free of charge to try out and provide my opinion.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

I love this product and line!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free from Bzzagent for reviewing purposes... I love this product. I have curly hair that with the wrong kind of shampoos can become very frizzy and dry. Ive tried the redken acidic bonding line before and loved it but when i found out they had an acidic bonding line for curly hair and was chosen to review it I was so excited. This product smells fantastic, the conditioner is the kind where a little does go a long way. I will definitely buy this product again along with the whole acidic curl bonding line!! My hair feels amazing, it isnt frizzy, and smells sooo good. Definitely recommend!

Great conditioner with a great scent!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this conditioner for my type 2C-3A curly-wavy hair. I've used Redken in the past (the All Soft line) and absolutely loved what it did for my hair, back when I wore it straight. This line did not disappoint! I found that my curl-waves were really well-hydrated and this conditioner didn't weigh them down or take the curl out. I also love that all of the products in this line have a light, kind of floral smell that wasn't overpowering. When applying this to my hair, I did mix it with a bit of water because the conditioner was pretty thick, and I wanted to add more hydration to the ends.

Not totally sold on this conditioner for curls

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have curly mostly-corkscrew B-curls. This hair care line is supposed to make my curls better bonded by helping bring out their natural pattern. I am seeing this it use of all the products together. However, I do have issues with this conditioner. It is extremely thick and I find it almost like putting a thick lotion on my hair. It doesn't have much moisture to it either, so it doesn't give my hair the slip that I like to have post-conditioner. Rather, the parts I was able to get conditioner distributed on feel…filmy? When I get out of the shower, yes, I can see curls rather than a frizz ball which is great. However, sacrificing moisture on my curls in a dry environment is tough for me.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    This is a Yes!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So, I did receive a free sample of the acidic bonding curls conditioner to do this review. At first, I was on the fence on how it felt in my hair. But, I love the shampoo and leave in conditioner, and i really loved the final look of my hair and how quickly it styled without too much effort from me. However, I didn't like that the conditioner was really thick and had a hard time squeezing it out of the bottle, and I did have to take a lot of time to finger comb it through my hair in the shower. That being said.... it obviously worked because my hair was soft and curly and bouncy when I used the trio of products (redken's acidic bonding curls shampoo, conditioner and leave in treatment).

    Yes, I recommend this product.

      Great for damaged curls

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best bonding treatment conditioner I've ever used. I used the redken acidic bonding curls conditioner after using the shampoo as suggested. It smells nice. It's thick. I applied it to my hair and had to add a little more as I have a lot of hair. My hair soaked up the hydration from the conditioner. I had no issues in rinsing the conditioner out. It left my hair feeling soft and strong. So if you are like me and bleach your hair for what ever reason and lost your curls you need to try this conditioner out. It will bring your curls back to life! My curl pattern is coming back after just one wash. I'm thoroughly impressed! This is a must have for everyone who has curly damage hair.

A great thick and creamy formula

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Redken sent me this free sample through the BzzAgent sampling program. I have 3B curls with dry, frizzy hair and oily scalp. As someone who had tried the original Acidic Bonding conditioner, I am happy that Redken finally has a formula more suited for the curlies! The original conditioner was impossible for me to use with dry, frizzy, tangled hair. The Acidic Bonding Curl Conditioner has a thick and creamy formula. My hair felt soft and frizz free, without losing volume and definition in just one use. There is just one thing I would like to highlight though - if you have very thick and tangled hair, you may feel that tue conditioner has less "slip" and might find it difficult to detangle such hair.

      Yes, I recommend this product.

not bad, not lifechanging. helps curl structure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tried this conditioner with the shampoo and leave in for my curly hair. Conditioner didnt seem to do much in shower -- hair wasn't especially smooth feeling or looking, and I noticed less slip than other conditioners. However, on styling, overall curl pattern was springier. the AHA (as noted on the package) did make me more susceptible to a light sunburn on my shoulders and chest. Didn't notice hair seeming especially softer or smoother with this conditioner, and actually needed more frizz control with the set, overall. Good for curl pattern and structure without many other benefits

      Yes, I recommend this product.

      Doesn't weigh my curls down

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] *I have received this product free as part of a promotional offer* I took 5-6 days of use before writing my review because sometimes products work great initially on my curly hair before drying them out after a few days. Overall, I really like this conditioner! The smell is a fresh. I don't think it will last too long because I have to use quite a bit each time, but it has yet to dry my curls out, and I've noticed great curl definition when combined with the corresponding shampoo and treatment set.. I will definitely recommend to my friends with curly hair that's on the drier side!

      Yes, I recommend this product.

Does the job of a typical conditioner...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 1. How do these products compare to other products you've tried? I found this line's conditioner to be effective enough. I would have enjoyed more slip for my 4C black hair though. 2. What are some benefits of owning these products? This conditioner was effective at adding moisture back into my hair I think. 3. Would you buy these products? Probably not buy this because it lacked slip to aid in detangling. 4. Would you recommend these products to your friends or family? I'm unsure about recommending this product as I haven't noticed any of the claimed benefits yet.

No, I do not recommend this product.

I think I love this stuff

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think I love this stuff. I have a 2c/3a curl pattern without product and can get closer to a 3a with good stuff. This set of acidic bonding curls shampoo and conditioner then leave in treatment plus my usual curl mousse leaves me with lovely looking 3a curls. I love the smell. A little sweet and kind of fruity but in the way over powering. Just really lovely and fresh. I've used the entire set for about a week before reading the review. By Thursday a co worker in my office asked me what I'd been using on my hair and told me my curls were looking so good and smooth! These products seem to really help the curl pattern and taming frizz! Disclosure: I received these products free of charge in exchange for an honest review.

      Lots of pros and cons

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have mid back length, thick, coarse, colored 2c hair that is VERY frizz prone and dry. Pros: it smells fantastic, makes my hair feel moisturized/hydrated, hair feels stronger, I've noticed less breakage; it looks less frizzy (at first) Cons: I'm not sure which part of this trio (shampoo, conditioner, or leave in) is making my hair weighed down and greasy (my suspicion is the leave in); also, while my hair is less frizzy initially, when I go to brush it, it is MUCH frizzier and feels significantly thicker/coarser; my hair does not feel as soft anymore.

      Yes, I recommend this product.

      Acidic Bonding for the win

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone who has always struggled with my curls but also has an allergy to the preservatives in most shampoos, I am always on the lookout for a new product line to try out. In comes BzzAgent, who sent me a sample of this project to use for myself and I love it. It smells so amazingly good and while the product felt a little too heavy on wash day, once I diffused it out, I was left with beautiful pipe curls that usually take an extra curling iron to produce. The conditioner feels like salon quality and produces salon quality results. Thank you, Redkin!

      Yes, I recommend this product.

      Almost Too Perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's good to mention that this is silicone-free, so it won't make your hair feel slippery, which is what many folks might be looking for. Silicones are also what typically make hair look shiny and smooth. These aren't necessarily safe for our hair (cause buildup) or our environment. This conditioner manages to create glossy, frizz-free hair without any of the bad stuff. While it doesn't advertise as a "clean" product, it certainly has a lot of things I look for when buying curly-girl-approved hair care. Only 4/5 stars because I didn't like the texture.

      Yes, I recommend this product.

      Condition without the slimy feel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to BzzAgent and Redken, I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. Redken's acidic bonding curls silicone-free conditioner will leave your hair feeling light and soft. I was really surprised at how well my hair felt after using the conditioner since the consistency is very thick, similar to a frosting. Using a quarter size amount for my shoulder length hair. I applied it all over and you almost can't even feel that it's in your hair even when rinsing. I have never used a conditioner that has left my hair feeling so weightless. I have been using this shampoo and conditioner for almost a week and compared to other brands, my hair no longer feels weighted down by heavy chemicals, which is a huge plus for curly hair.

      Yes, I recommend this product.

      So necessary for curls!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First things first: i received this product from BZZAGENT for free in exchange for my honest review. I have fine, 3b curly hair that I bleach and color, and use heat on. This conditioner has worked amazingly on getting my curl pattern back and keeping frizz at bay! I live in an extremely humid city and I need all the moisture I can get, and this does the job! It smells so good too! After just a few uses I can already see such a difference, So bottom line I would recommend this to anyone with curls, and I will be purchasing!

      Great slip

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This conditioner is so good and has really great slip to it. I pretty much felt a huge difference in one use and could actually run my fingers through my hair without tons of knots. I normally have to comb through knots , but not with this conditioner. My hair felt softer with one use and it got better with more use. It has a really nice thick texture so you know it's going to work right into the hair and not most fall off my hand while applying. I saw so much more less breakage and way much less falling out in the shower.

      Yes, I recommend this product.

Can be a little heavy for thin hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have thin dry hair, which needs to be light and fluffy for the curls to maintain their structure. The silicone free conditioner did a really good job of hydrating my hair, and making my strands stronger. But I felt that the formula was a little heavier than my usual conditioner, and caused my hair to be a little weighed down. My curls had a hard time holding the shape on day 2 after wash. I think this would work better for somebody who has curly hair that can use a lot of moisture, but does not need the volume aspect.

      Yes, I recommend this product.

      New Favorite Conditioner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Redken Acidic Bonding Conditioner from PINCHme to try about a week ago and I absolutely love it. My hair feels so soft and frizz free plus it feels and looks healthier and is so much more manageable than before and it smells great! I would definitely recommend this to anyone who has naturally curly hair because I've tried a lot of other conditioners for curly hair and never found one that really helped with frizz and left my curls soft and manageable but this one does and will be my ho to from now on!

      Absolutely great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unlike the shampoo this stuff smells amazing. It's super thick which I love in a conditioner because I feel like I don't have to use as much. Left my hair feels soft despite the fact that I have hard water. Even after just one use my curls looked amazingly healthy and shiny. I honestly could have gone without any product in my hair after using just the shampoo and conditioner. Finally I can just wash and dry my hair without all the extra steps. Having curly hair is a job and this stuff is going to save me hours!

      Tangle Free

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free from Redken in exchange for writing the review. Redken acidic bonding curls conditioner came in a 10.1 FL OZ/300 ML bottle with flip top lid. This conditioner is silicone-free which is great for color treated hair. The conditioner is creamier in texture, so you have to firmly press on the bottle to dispense. I added a little water to my palm to mix into the conditioner to thin it out some before applying to my hair. It has a pleasant scent and helped some with tangles and frizz.

      A TRIPLE THREAT !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried the Acidic Bonding Curls trio and was blown away by the results! The shampoo cleansed my curls gently, leaving them feeling soft and bouncy. The conditioner provided much-needed hydration without weighing my curls down, and the treatment sealed the deal, enhancing curl definition and reducing frizz. Plus, the acidic formula helped maintain the pH balance of my hair, ensuring long-lasting results. Overall, I highly recommend this trio for anyone looking to enhance and maintain their curly locks!

This has transformed my 3c curls!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have long 3c curls that I color 3-4 times a year. I have previously used the regular ABC line and loved it - but find the curl specific line to be so much better. This conditioner makes detangling in shower a breeze and provides moisture and shine without weighing my hair down. It definitely feels lighter and bouncier than the regular acidic bonding line. I did receive this product for free to review, and after using for several washes am so excited to re-purchase on my own and continue using. HG status!

Finally! A bonding repair line for curls

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product free from Redken in exchange for my honest review. I was excited to hop on the 'bonding repair' band wagon, but using a haircare line specifically for curls. I have been trying to gradually adapt more curly girl method approved products, and I love that this is silicone free. It was the perfect follow-up to the shampoo and left my hair in an even softer state. The longer I leave it on, the softer it tends to feel. Overall, I can say my curls look more defined, are less frizzy, and feel softer and less damaged since I started using this conditioner. I have bleached hair and am growing out a keratin treatment, and this conditioner has helped heal my hair and get through this awkward phase by bringing the curls back to life. I will be purchasing a second bottle!

      Yes, I recommend this product.

      Wonderful conditioner!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm very picky when it comes to conditioners because I feel many leave my hair greasy and heavy. I was very impressed by the Redken Acidic bonding conditioner. I applied mainly on my ends and a little on my roots. The smell of the product is so good and my hair didn't feel heavy and weighed down after this conditioner. I feel this conditioner hydrated my ends so well and defined my natural curls. This conditioner is definitely of great professional quality and I plan to purchase it again in the future!

      Yes, I recommend this product.

      Redken did it again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Redken did it again! My curls feel lightweight and not bogged down with the Acidic Bonding Curls Conditioner. I recommend using a pea size amount of the Acidic Bonding Curls Silicone Free Leave in Treatment after for a soft, light weight curl. Redken warns that the acid may cause sunburn and to take extra precautions while in the sun. I personally did not have any issues and tend to burn prior to tanning. I love the transparency Redken takes accountability for. Bottom line - another great product!

      Yes, I recommend this product.

      Liking this so far!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this product in combination with the shampoo and leave in. I have only used it twice, but so far i really likes the hydration it provided to my long, color treated hair. I wish I would have tried it without the leave in to see how soft it made my hair on its own. My curls had nice definition because they weren't starving for moisture as usual. I received this product as part of a promotion for my honest review. I would definitely give it a try to see if it works for your curls.

      Yes, I recommend this product.

      Conditioner Moisture

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] BzzAgent sent me this free sample because I participate in the BzzAgent sampling program for the Redken Curls for Consumers campaign of 2024. This conditioner helped my hair be more manageable while detangling it with my special brush for Afro hair. Easy to use, it penetrates the areas very well and makes sure hair is nourished and well taken care of. I loved that it secured my hair health in the best way possible because it ensured my ends, dry and damaged areas would be nourished.

      Yes, I recommend this product.

      Perfect for curly hair!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow, my curls are so soft, shiny and healthy!! I received this conditioner in exchange for my honest review. The scent is very light and floral. I used the Redken Acidic Bonding shampoo and then followed with this conditioner. My expectations were exceeded. I usually have very dry, frizzy curly hair and most curly line products make my hair feel like straw. My hair felt so soft and the frizz was minimal after using this line. I think it's great that Redken has a curly hair line!!!

      Yes, I recommend this product.

      A must have conditioner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am always feeling like I am losing the battle at trying to keep my curls hydrated. I've tried what seems to be a million different curl conditioners and using gobs and gobs to make my hair feel hydrated. This conditioner fits the bill! Combined with the Acidic Bonding Shampoo this conditioner has helped hydrate my hair and add definition and life to my curls. My hair was RIDICULOUSLY soft after air drying and with lots of definition. This is my go to conditioner now!

      Yes, I recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just like the shampoo, I love the smell, the application was silky and smoothe, and I was pleased with the results. I felt that this product definitely assisted with the definition of my curls and toned down the frizz. I did use this in combination with the shampoo and leave in, but this is something I will be switching my hair care routine to. I was offered this product for free in exchange for my honest review, and I'm so glad I had the opportunity to try it out.

      Yes, I recommend this product.

Definitely recommend this for unruly/frizzy curls!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product free for an honest review. Scent is very nice, it has a subtle fruity scent, but not overpowering. I really like it, it smells very clean. My hair is very dry and frizzy and I usually have to leave my conditioner in and not rinse it at all. Since this line of products has a leave-in, I decided to rinse this conditioner out as directed. Upon rinsing, my hair still felt conditioned, which doesn't usually happen for me. I could tell that is was retaining more moisture than usual. In the curly girl world, I would say it has good slip. I followed with the same line of the leave-in conditioner and these three products left my hair feeling very clean and light, but not dry and frizzy like usual. My curl pattern is also better! Definitely recommend trying this if you have dry, unruly/frizzy curls!

      Yes, I recommend this product.

Love and recommend the entire set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shampoo made my hair feel clean, which is super important to me but it also feels so moisturized. My curls are bouncy and light with tons of volume. The conditioner glided through my hair like silk and made it look like it as well. The leave-in treatment is also a winner, it kept my hair frizz free and shiny for days. I washed my hair on Friday and it still looks amazing on Monday. A little pricey but definitely worth it as I find most Redken products to be.

      Yes, I recommend this product.

      Obsessed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although I received this product free for review this is my honest opinion, after having a relaxer on my hair about a year ago my hair has just never been the same. After using this product my curls came back almost as beautiful as they were before I had gotten a relaxer and they haven't matted up in a day like my original curls did. I'm obsessed with this product and can't wait to share it with all my friends and family especially my mom who is a hair stylist.

      Yes, I recommend this product.
