[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This paste is easy to work into hair...I have medium length hair (3-5 inches) and have used several different pomades/pastes and like that this one requires 0 "working" with your hands before putting in your hair...simply squeeze out shape your hair. For comparison, when I use something like Uppercut I have to work it in my hands to warm it up and get it a consistency that doesn't leave residue in my hair....Redken doesn't require that!

Nonetheless, it held up my hair and provided a nice shine. It lasted all day. I followed instructions on the back and applied it to my hair after shower.

A lot of these kinds of products doesn't help your hair retain moisture for even a short time. This lasts for a while because my hair doesn't "puff" up or get as frizzy compared to other products.

The heats doesnt help.Plus work outdoors, But this product right here is the truth im able to style my hair and it hold the entire 10 hour shirt and not worry if I need to rebrush it. I have naturally oily hair that also tends to frizz up and appear extremely fuzzy when its clean. As a result, I need to add product to my hair after washing it so that it looks good, but ideally without introducing a bunch of grease that will leave my hair looking dirty and gross by lunchtime. This molding paste does the job very well. It comes out like a cream, which makes it very easy to apply and work through damp hair, which is a plus (especially compared to molding clays and other more solid pastes). It has a subtle, but nice, scent to it, and takes the frizz out of my clean hair without matting it down with grease/oil. These are pretty ideal features. The only drawback I've experienced so far, is that the product can become separated in the tube for some reason, making it so a bunch of clear liquid comes out first instead of the actual cream/paste, which is kind of annoying (think: yellow mustard that hasn't been shaken beforehand). Overall though, I'd recommend this.
