How do I sign up my salon?

Let's get you on the map or optimize your existing business listing.

  1. Visit gybo.com/business
    • Click "View My Listing"
    • Type your business name into the box to see if it appears on Google Search & Maps.
  2. You'll see one of the following:      
    • If you see "Your Business Isn't On The Map," click the "Add Your Business" button.
    • If you see "Your Business Information Might Be Incorrect on Google," click the "Verify Your Business Info" button.
    • If you are on the map and your information looks correct, nice work! You're all set. Remember to visit in the future if any of your salon information should change.
  3. Look at the listings that show in the map. Any of them your salon? 
    • If yes, click on it. 
    • If not, select the last option of "Add Your Business" under "None of these match."
    • If no results are found, click the section labeled: “I’ve correctly entered the name and address. Let me enter the full business details.”
  4. Follow the steps and enter your full business details when prompted. 
    1. Tip: Enter what you want your client to see. Don't enter your business office if it's different form the salon address.
    2. Don't forget to choose a category for your business. You must chose one of the existing categories provided by Google in the "Category" drop down.
  5. Next, specify the service area where you do business.
    • If you travel to clients, click “yes” for “I deliver goods and services to customers at their location.”
    • Select the geographic region. 
    • Make sure to check the box that says “I also serve customers at my business address” or your address will not show up. 
    • Click continue.
  6. Agree to the terms and services and confirm you are authorized to manage the business.
    • Verify that you’re authorized to manage this business by entering a pin number. 
    • To get your pin, click “mail.”
  7. You have the option to enter a contact name.
    • Then click “send postcard.” 
    • A postcard with your pin will arrive in 1-2 weeks. 
    • See Step 11 for what to do when your pin arrives.
  8. Click continue to go to your Google My Business dashboard
  9. Click the “edit” button or “info” in the top navigation to access your business details from this dashboard.
  10. Click the pencil icons to edit your business info.
    • From here, you can edit your business address, including the service area and where it appears on Google Maps. 
    • You can also add hours of operation, additional phone numbers, your website url, and photos.
  11. Once your pin arrives in the mail, go to: google.com/business 
    • Click start now.
    • Click enter code.
    • Input your pin.
    • Click submit.
